NikeJapan gloves are by far the best - best looking, lightest and most durable. takes forever to break in but when you do they really are the best money can buy. American nike and japanese nike are different btw - different leather supplier and different craftsmen. top nikejapan gloves cost $600 ~ $700 - Darvish Yu and Uehara use them
@jacobsc10 you obviously havent tried on any of the japanese nike gloves. nobody uses primo they are too heavy. top line japanese nike (sixty6 models) cost $500 ~ $600 but they are almost 1/2 weight and above all they look so much nicer.
Primo is to heavy pro preffered and a2k are my favorite but i hear mizuno and hatakeyama and nike all have some high quality pro gloves priced over 500 dollars but not sure how good they are
i just got a rawlings gold glove and it is sooo good..... i also have a wilson a1000 and that is also verry good . the rawlings once it is fully broken in will become my pitching / 2nd base glove whils my a1000 will b my shortstop glove...........
all in all wilson and rawlings arte two of the best brands of baseball gloves
The primo is way to heavy for an outfeilder its an ok infield glove but the A2000 is probably the best or Rawlings Gold Glove Series. I like ssk gloves though but use a Rawlings
@ANEURYSMtribute EXACTLY! i'm with you on the heavy primo. it's too heavy to use in most infield and outfield positions like ss or 2b. mayb it's fine for 3rd base because it's probably durable and pitcher's gloves dont really matter for weight. u just need fast reflexes.
@Billups97 sorry, but do u even know what ur talking about? wilson and mizuno leather is nice, but nokona's leather feels just as good and even their lower grade 1's lyk the black shadow dont get floppy.
Well, these are the best by their respective makers. But, there are several other manufacturers that make top notch gloves, but they don't carry the name. Guerrero, Kazuma, Barraza and Domin. I have owned a few Rawlings Pro-Preferred, Heart of the Hide, Wilson A2000's, Wilson Conform's, and Nokona's. But, would put a Guerrero, Barraza, with any of them, and for less money. The difference being that the hides from those are more like those of free roaming cattle.

@The52jake i agree with you nokona is the best baseball glove i hv ever tried and i hv tried many gloves including a2000, rawlings pro preffered, derek jeter rawlings glove, kelley glove which are good but they hv no padding, and a nokona amg 1150 cw which is my current glove and my backup is derek jeters rawlings and then behind that is the pro preffered but nokona is by far better
These are not all of the best gloves. I will admit that the A2000 and many of the Rawlings gloves are very good gloves, but I will never buy another brand of glove other than Nokona. It is by far the best glove I have ever used and I have had many including the A2000 and a Gold Glove. Nokona is the only all American made glove and as everyone knows baseball is the great American sport. I leater molds to your hand and has a perfect fit for any player.
@sergiotorres15 You are right there, but I will have to admit the glove does make a difference in the way that it reacts with your hand and how it feels. I want a glove that will move with your hand as your hand, like a Nokona, instead of a stiff glove.
@bostonsucs yes, very true. I like nokona and wilson. and in wilson there are also the a3000 and the a1k.(both old versions of the a2k.) dude, u have to feel the a3000 exo.
r u stupid? lol...i have the primo and its the best glove i ever owned i also had a pro preffered..it tookva while to break in but other than that..its a good glove
@eastontpxdud yah, the primo is actually one of the heaviest out there but its definatley worht it. i wouldn't recomend an expensive glove till you get into highschool and know that ur commited to baseball.
Yes, you're right Akadema just started making some of their gloves here in the US for the last 2 or 3 years, but still the bulk of their gloves are being manufactured overseas, while Nokona makes ALL their gloves in Texas. I believe any glove that feels good on your hand can do the job. Of course you should use the better equipment but I like using cheaper gloves because half the time they are easier to break in and made of leather and good enough for me!
i have an a2k first base mitt and i've never used anything better. My previous glove was a mizuno which was a nice glove, but extremely heavy. I just got a new pitching glove in yesterday. its a rawlings pro preffered. any tips for breaking it in?
that is rediculous. The A2K is better than it, plus the Primo takes the cake hands down. Ive used both, and bought a primo, some of the best money ive spent

Rawlings HOHs #1, TPX Pro Flares and Wilson A2000 pro-stock leathers #1A, Rolin/Barraza is way up there too as are the top of the line Mizunos. I have two Primos (1150S w/ 2-piece web & 1150T with mod. trap) they are beautiful, but a little heavy.
i like the mizouno or however you spell it. only the catchers gloves though ive been using the mizouno for about 4 years..but when i picth i have my nike glove on
wtf katz is the bes r u serouse look it up that is the best glove and thats a fact i have katz i got it fr 200 it is the best brand ever i have all of those gloves that u showed i have 80 gloves and about 30 rawlings and 20 wilsons i think the best is kats i no i spent 1000 dolars on my gloves and katz is the best
If you can break in a Worth the right way, its a great glove. I spent a long time to break my worth in to I could get it right, and now its a great glove
nice! I love those two brands. I have the heart of the hide that mulder and zito use. It feels great! It's a pitcher's glove that can be used in the infield. David Wright used it for a season.
Franklin is included in that I bought a glove and that is like 200$ Its really good franklin either has good gloves or peices of crap and I got agood one
oh and i sent that one before watching it..the good gold gloves cost 299.99 sorry man not tryin to show you up but i'm a glove fanatic, i could tell you almost anything about any brand of glove

nice! I love those two brands. I have the heart of the hide that mulder and zito use. It feels great! It's a pitcher's glove that can be used in the infield. David Wright used it for a season.
