I ALMOST went to Leaky, but then I was talking to the friends I would have met there, and we decided that we didn't care about the conference, we just cared about seeing each other. So we decided to take the much cheaper option and all meet up for our own mini gathering. So THERE!
I'm feeling the same way, about coming into the fandom late, I went to the first Leaky, but I am unbelievably excited to go and see friends. See you in like 9 days, wow....that's close....

I'm definitely with you on getting into the online Potter fandom late ... I mean, I didn't really get involved on the fan sites ... more like becoming friends with other Potter fans.

lol im harry potter movie fan but not book fan point, in me telling strangers on the internet this is!!!!... sorry i got nothing i'm bored XD.
but the one the thing i don't like about the harry potter series is how jk rolling bumbs off the fun charerters >:( even hedwig died I mean wtf :O
P.s oh well still fun to wacth lol, well enjoy your first / last convention... i on the other hand have never been to one. :P
