Good flying. Although next video, show us the windsock if you want us to be impressed. Also, poor propping technique by your buddy. He is standing too far away and leaning into the prop. Better research proper technique. Stay alive!
It was a while ago, so I don't remember exactly. The crosswind component ranged from 5 to 10 knots throughout the day. Worked well for practicing technique with my student in a light aircraft.
It's not a J-3... is it a PA-11?

@b26maurader yep. Fun airplane. Can solo front or rear seat. Definitely notice better performance from the back, though.
