@MrBoy219 I do all of my own work. No need to take it to the dealer for repairs anyway. its a 2005 and as of about 20min ago its 110K miles and ate a V6 rust-stang for dinner about 7 times from all kinds of rolls and dead stops. poor guy from the stops. I have a custom 3200 stalled converter and i would launch an imediate half a truck in front.

@I5ZQ8 I have a 2005 also... The starter is hidden... The hose from the heater core is hidden behind the engine.. The lower radiator hose is hidden in the side of the block.. I say poor engineering.. So far i replaced the altinator, that was $565.. engine timing sensor was $225,,, the automatic door locks don t wor, cost is 465 to replace ... i will never buy another Gm product again....

@MrBoy219 sounds like you got a bad one. because All I have take mine to the dealer for is the brake switch recall and 1 driver side window actuator that needed to be fixed. I have gone through 4 transmissions but 1 was the stocker and 3 were build from a ass hat that claimed they could handle "anything I could throw at them" but now i have a built 4L65E and a custom 3200 converter,

@I5ZQ8 I had trouble with the drivers window.. it would quit working .. usually when it was damp or raining outside... i wish GM would put a drain plug in the transmission pan... its been over a year now since i had any problems... but i am looking to trade it soon..

@MrBoy219 Drain plug in the pan?? lmao hell no....You have a lot of people now a days doing their own oil changes that really shouldn't be and i can forsee them emptying out their trans and topping off their rngine and well it WONT be pretty!!! I change my transmissions..not my oil ;)

man its been a while lol....the truck now is lowered a bit been through about 4 different sets of rims and on my 4 th performance transmission build to a 4L65E and a header and e-fan short of full bolt on. the truck will see about 28-32 MPG on the highway on a good day but they are not constant ....constant about 25MPG easy i can get about 450-480miles out of the tank.

truck runs good 15.7@85mph with the 20s and spinning off the line and now has a 3000 stall!!
