  • Falling for 4 minutes? Just a horrible thought. :'-(

  • Looking at how big the hole was gives me chills.

  • I'm not afraid to die because when I do I know i'll be in paradise with God!

  • Unfortunatly Captain Cronin is no longer with us today, he passed away from a fatal heart attack on the 7th of October 2010 at the age of 81.

  • Good flight crew that was calm to handle the situation.

  • "Heavy" means that this aircraft is in the heavy wake turbulence category.

  • May David RIP he is a great people

  • Comment removed

  • The captain David Cronin died just a few days ago. He was a real hero. RIP

  • @737FSPilot

Yea he was a great pilot I think reason he didn't get as much credit was A. It was Hawaii and B. Didn't UA 232 happen shortly there after that?

  • @CubsFanJohn I guess so, UA 232 was July 19, 1989. To me, the pilots of both flights were equal heroes.

  • Can't get over how creepy that male flight attendant looks.

  • wow.. 9 people died and all they cared to talk about was this Kevin Campbell guy... WTF.. FUCKTARDS..

  • @NeoQuello I agree but his parents played a big role in the investigation. They pushed the NTSB and managed to prove to them what the problem was.

  • The captain and his crew really did an amazing job at landing the damaged plane. Now that is bravery! :)

  • R.I.P to the victims.

  • here you can really applaude the pilots

  • unfortunately the KLM 747 still have cargo doors that open to the outside

I saw it when they were loading them

    in Schipol

  • My uncle is a Kiwi and there fanastic race. I appauld the Campbells for their action and desire for the truth. Worst way to die being sucked out. R.I.P to the victims.

  • not a race, a nationality.

  • Aviation is Like Women, when everything is going great, its the best thing in the world, but if something goes wrong, Look out!

  • too much saddness

  • mirraculous! its amazing the courage pilots have!!!!!!!

  • That hole is scary!! I thought it was smaller.

  • Amazing

  • if there is any one that is an airliner pilots can you please contact me send me a message to my in box...thanks...would like to know some things

  • Well I've lived for 3 years in New Zealand, and whenever there is a disaster such as an earthquake, They don't go into much detail on the news unless there was a New Zealander involved. They don't really care if hundreds of people die, and loads of countries are torn apart, as long as no Kiwis die. The tsunami report was about 3 minutes, 2 and a half of those talking about the 2 Kiwis that died instead of the 300,000 that lost thier lives and the grief, havoc and devastation around thw world =(

  • NO NOT dishonest bloody New Zealanders, I have 3 friends that live in New Zealander and they are very honest ppl

    **dishonest bloody Loopy1980 & a dumbwad**

  • well im actually a new zealander..we always take the piss out of each other..so you dont have to lower urself to calling me a dumbwad..

  • My God...may those lost rest in peace

  • omg

  • my favourite aircrash ( i mean the most interesting one cause i dont want planes to crash and ppl 2 die) is where the plane goes into the mountians crash and everyone gets lost and 4 ppl and a dog surive that happened on my dad's birthday 20 december and it was one of the survivers birthday on the crash day to so it

    my dad's birthday

    one of the survivers birthday

and it was the air crash day

  • I think the Pilot summed it up best; There but for the grace of God, go I. It is the sheer skill and heroics of flight crews that give me the residue of faith I have in the Airline industry. May the victims rest in peace. Thank you for posting!

  • why do they say for example, "811 heavy". what does the heavy stand for? does it mean that the aircraft is still packed with fuel. and if yes, at what percentage are ou too overweight to land?

  • The "Heavy" on the callsign means that it is a Large aircraft ex: dc-10 , md - 11 , 747 , 757 , 767 , 777 like those planes are " Heavy " planes . it doesn't matter how much fuel is on the plane

  • ok, cool, thanks for that!

  • Heavy aircraft also create higher levels of wake vorticies off their wingtips, most often when they're flying clean without flaps or spoilers, requiring further seperation between aircraft when on final approach.

  • @stormbreezemidnight if a plane is over 300, 000lbs its called heavy

  • first to comment and first question. Where is part 4?

  • it's there
