  • very sloppy.... :/

  • hey its a nice try yo got talent yeah congratulations see ya pal!!!!!!!

  • you shoulda used a different tone the one your using makes it sound all crappy

  • now you need a real piano lol

  • this is realllyyyyy good

  • i thought it sounded cool...nice job man....

  • Sounds like Mario Bros. went shred. Great stuff.

  • is it me, or is this guy playing on his knees?

  • caralhh

  • fucking quality m8, bravo

  • awesome!!

  • this video needs millions more viewers

  • the fastest ive ever heard jason becker play that song is about 160 bpm..that was like 170 O.o' damn

  • Yea, but still jason used a guitar and he uses a keyboard. Still, good job man. Keep it up.

  • YMG!!!!(YOUR MY GOD!!!!)

-lol im not a stupid lil teen texter but dam i just dont see how you could have learned that.....BY EAR...and not be God... i mean dam! i just cant.

  • god????

  • super bambooha

  • you are technically good but damn slow it down becker dowsnt plays it at that speed!

it itsnt a contest of who plays quicker, is what u make us feel when we hear it,

  • @quilmesredlager that is so true man its not the speed but the technique its good if you can feel it That is why Jason beacker is the best Neoclassical Electric Guitarist ever

  • @sixteenpoo but you did a good job thogh

  • @sixteenpoo

yeah with vinnie moore and friedman

but friedman then went into other types of music.

    i still love marty´s music

  • DAMN!

  • Really good playing, but you could try playing it slower and change the tone, like piano

  • mm te comistes una parte de la seccion de serrana

  • the timing isnt actually right. It is too fast

  • do it on a piano or harpsichord

  • un poco mas lento y te hago una estatua

  • amazing *.*

  • Wow, thats different!

  • can you please change the tone - it sounds REALLY static-like and not smooth at all

  • i agree

  • cool

  • OMFG!!!!!!!

    that was fuckin amazing O___O

    11 stars =D

  • HOLY FUCK THAT WAS AMAZING

  • ok guys. music theory and ear training is almost essential when doing stuff by ear. it wil make things go by literally more than three times as fast because you reduce your guess work down to like 30 percent.

other than that, it would take me a year to learn this even on my precious experience of 3 years on guitar =(

  • HAHA don't feel bad dude, i pick things up by ear pretty easily, AND have 9 years of intensive study under my belt and STILL can't get this shit even close. becker was given an EXTREME talent by god, and very few people have it, everybody else(like us) has to bust their ass. but keep at it and one day you'll have it down i'm sure :-)

  • No.. Becker worked really really hard to become that good, its not just talent but experience.

  • its was amazing , but u did a sound of a guitar of something like a piano, but this is great

  • how the f... did you learn this by ear?!

  • it was actually what happens when people get jeolous.. easy to swim ski among keys in neo classic subscales with no hammer actioned and no weighted keys? do this on a piano or keyboard with weighted keyboard and stop adding jeolous comments on peoples videos

  • shit man

my only complaint is that you didnt use a nicer keyboard sound

  • thats what I was thinking... other than that pretty damn good

  • shit yeah if it was done with an organ sound it'd be SICK AS HELL ^_^

  • hahahahaha its so great hahaha

  • dude, that's fucking amazing, but I just say that it could sound little bit better if u play it just a little bit slower... anyways 5/5

  • wow!10 stars!

  • yeah baby

  • o_O

  • god is in your hands :O

  • WTF !?!?!?!?! ur amazing.!!

  • ur amazing

  • amazing

  • WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?

    nice

  • I would love to hear you play this with a piano sound rather than the distorted tone. It's amazing either way though.

  • Yer the low notes don't stand out, making it sound like only half the arpeggios are being played , but as you said....still amazing!

  • too faster man lose filling

  • AMAZING

  • why don't you locobeis

  • lol, try doing it in a normal piano with weighted keys and NO monophonic shit.

  • awesome ! it's not very hard to play on the keyboard but it's definitely hard to convert it from guitar to keyboard and you still kept the spirit of the song alive.

  • the song is called serrana hence the title of the video

  • lol

  • Songs name is "Serrana" by Jason Becker. It was originally wrote for the guitar.

  • the ending part is in my opinion the best part... its fantastic ^_^

  • im a guitarist but that was fukn cool! your the next Jens man

  • really awesome..I'm a guitarist and it really is a jaw drop for me to see this piece played on keyboard!

  • Hahaha wow impressive!...check my personal video of serrana drunk on my videos

  • amazing

  • Is your name Jens Johansson?

  • that was amazing. whats ht keyboard, you look to good for it what ever it is~!!!

  • Nice playing man, absolutely amazing arpeggios at the end too.

  • I really wish you would play that at normal speed, good job anyhow.

  • great work man, very impressive, wish there was a keyboard player like u where i live

  • its so fast that it is funny jajajajajajajajajajajajaj cool cool...great job :P

  • A-Mazing !!! Do More !!!!!!!!

  • that was cool dude.

  • This is definitely awesome talent, but the Serrana arps are easier played the keyboard, rather than the guitar. All 1-3-5. The first hint would be that this is at a faster tempo than Becker played it, haha. Good job man!

  • its really fresh :P

its cool to find someone who is not trying to do this on guitar like 1857847 videos on youtube

  • niceman!! =D

  • as i allways say, dans ace.

  • wow ...amazing ...

  • you should learn altitudes!!!!!!

  • lol the hard of this is to do that with one hand and with the order the piano jeje i am praticing that well really is dificult

  • the hard of serrana is that its a conversion of piano to a guitar a keyboard player knows that its easier on keys

  • ajja wena marikon operao

  • Very radical!!!

  • holy shit man ur awesome

  • hey good work... continue working...

Use french horn tone to another viedo ;)

  • play it slower like the speed that becker plays it on guitar and itll sound awesome still good 5/5

  • cool first time ive heard it on keys

  • hey man nice playing. can u tell me where did u get the notes please???? i'd realy love to see my friend (he's a pianist) playing it along with me on the guitar. thanks very much! i'll keep checking back for ur answer.

  • dude that sounds like guitar pro, ive seen serrana played on keyboard and the guy was goin all over the place your not really movin around all that much nice try. your keyboard light is off as well.

  • Lol because you don't need to move around much, play it yourself. Guitarpro lmao, that's a good one dude never seen that one before.

  • @liquidchaos1

i play piano, and i can tell you his hand movements are legit.

however, there is no way he just turned this on and started playing this. when you are playing piano this fast you have to know ahead of time exactly how far you are going to move your hand and fingers.

    this is not improv.

  • @liquidchaos1 shut up if you dont know shit! f-ing haters

  • @liquidchaos1

as a piano player myself, i can tell you that he is hitting the notes at the exact time the sound is being played..

  • nahhhh that's great man, don't listen to these gaynoobs

  • Jamesord, it's the tone that fucked it up, I know it sounds like i'm blaming the tone here but it's because my keyboard isn't really that good. I have found a new tone though and it sounds more flowing when I play.

And guitargod, just because you have two hands to play notes doesn't always mean it's easier. I mean when doing scales on a guitar, it's alot easier than doing scales on a keyboard.

  • no -_-

  • sorry man, but you fucked it up. Slow down and play it clearly, 'cos you can play, but wanted too fast. Too many notes are unhearable.

  • is good

  • I do play it on a normal piano in college, and people are usually impressed lol. I understand the whole thing I usually do play it on a piano sound nowadays. PLus I got a better tone than this one I don't know what possesed me into recording a vid with that tone lol.

  • hm you did great, but looks like your missing some notes, i can play it on the keys also, so im not just some random dude putting you down, just thought thats what it looked like, but other than that its great and yea from personal experience, if you play it on a real piano, it sounds amazing, and people will respect that shit alllot more.

  • Play it on a normal piano and it would sound brilliant

  • nice but slow it down a bit and play it more fluidly

  • damn nice.

  • It is alot easier to play on keyboard, but that's me lol. Arpeggio's are generally alot easier on keyboard than they are on guitar, shredding is harder on a keyboard in my opinion.

  • haha, i unno man id say, after playing both instruments, they take pretty much equal talent for arpeggios, though i would say that piano is a bit earier to learn. you should post a video on the uses of arpeggios and stuff, you seem to be extremely good with them.

  • Let me assure you, piano is easier in every way, unless your playing advanced counterpoint wich guitar is not so suited for. Shredding on guitar takes years of dicipline, practising both picking and fingering note articulation bends etc.. piano just push.

  • Hell yeah! Maybe it's easier than playing it on guitar

  • on guitar u have 1 hand to hret all the note, on piano you have 2 hands, ofcorses its easier

  • u asshole tell me when you can play this on piano idiot if you dont know how dificult is play with two hands -_- give a favor shut the fuck up

  • hey chill u twat. u try playin it on guitar, hitting all the notes that guys hitting, but with one hand. thats harder!!!! and this guy lets notes ring into each other and this being the arpeggios in Serrana, they notes shudnt ring.

  • Woah guys calm it lol. I'm not letting notes ring Guitargod because it's a lead sound... most leads tend to only be able to handle 1 note at once, hence why I couldn't have let them ring, it's just because the tone is used isn't very good.

  • @guitargodl1993

multitasking with your two separate hands is much harder.

some hard guitar soloes are extremely easy on piano (like fade to black) and some easy guitar parts are actually rather challenging on piano. This, however, would probably be much easier on piano that guitar.

  • @sniktawleahcim the diminished runs on the second half of this song are near impossible to play cleanly at jasons speed on a distorted guitar XD

  • bah fucker beat me to it :P damn amazing man

  • Awesome! Try it with a more conventional piano tone.

  • play it a little bit slower man, its an awesome work, but is hard to listen...or change the instrument

  • I'm going to make a new video with a new sound, and hopefully a new arrangement I made using just the sound of a Grand. Or if not that, then some random solo I guess.

  • :D Nice one Dan It's awesome, seriously. You can play at my wedding xD

  • That's realy amazing! Bravo

  • Thanks, and thank you all for the positive comments :).

  • awesome man, sound and everything! very precious work!

  • amazing. get a new sound, and i will love you.

  • And yeah, I will record another vid with a cleaner sound at some point... Im busy in college so it might be a while.

  • wow how long have you been playing piano or keyboard??

  • Ive been playing about 7 years, but to be honest I haven't really improved that much during that time so im pretty crap lol..

  • Really Amazing.

  • That would be so cool if you re-recorded it with a cleaner patch, something like the Jordan rudess LTE lead or Jens Johansson lead would sound awesome! Jason Becker is King!

  • I must say you guys have a point, my lead tone sucks. I will record it then with some other sound which I think is good. Thanks for your advice dudes!

  • Amazing.

  • hmm I dunno that tone is so bad its really hard to judge the playing or how it would sound without, I suggest re-recording with a smoother or at least more pronounced lead tone

  • v nyce dan lol but the award is stil mine muhahahah :P

  • cool =D
