@Rochey93 Some of the acts in this concert weren't the greatest, but if you're referring to Judith Durham's performance, GET A LIFE. See how YOU manage this at AGE 68, after a lifelong chronic bronchial condition!
Fantastic performance, she sounds great! When she sings "All the little travellers..." and it showed a wee kid asleep I had a tear in my eye - beautiful.
The hairs on the back of my neck stood up when she started to sing Morningtown Ride to Christmas ... no matter how many times I hear that song, and the original, they both still make me shiver and tear up.
Was lucky enough to go, and Judith was wonderful. A true LEGEND, like the presenter's said. "A national treasure" indeed :) Thank you Judith, and Merry Christmas.
Brings tears to my eyes. It's one of the sweetest, dearest events, with children and families with their blankets and jammies. Judith is a jewel. LOVE the big "Merry Christmas" sign--the Aussies know how to celebrate this right!
@ilovepttr Yes, you sure do! It's wonderful. I actually flew from the USA this past May to see the Seekers with Rieu in Brisbane--it was a trip of a lifetime! I couldn't make it down there for "Carols," so I am grateful that we have youtube. So glad that you enjoyed Judith's lovely performance, ilovepttr. Merry Christmas!
A Jamieson Glow: A Christmas Treat: the Beauty of "Color & Timbre". Judith Durham at her best.
With loving eyes & heart,
Veritas,
Peter (Jamieson).

This is actually terrible. Why is this an event an assembly of Australian's worst singers?

@puppydoug I can't remember. Rewatching this it seems pretty good in actual fact.
But in general I don't this concert was very good. But it's Christmas so I will suppress my cynicism. Point taken.

Judith looks very attractive one reason is because shes not a typical silly older lady who cut their hair
