In my opinion, I think that the dash is better because it's more durable, sleeps longer(well at least for mine), grind...about the same, and it's a little less responsive, but if you put the bearing into like paint thinner or mineral spirits wihout thin lubing it, it plays better than my dv888 I have to say.

@abonto i got horrible now hahaha i was just an intermediate player who wanted to advance to something that would just sleep longer and would allow for less responsive play in some slack tricks and grinds.(never got good at them) so if you want more playing time that will allow you to expand on your trick collection then spend the money its a very durable and nice feeling yoyo with the all metal and flat rims.

If you're getting more advanced and you're going to buy a higher quality yomega, you might as well get a mid quality yoyofactory, yoyojam, or one of several other great companies. Not that the maverick or dash aren't good yoyos, you'll just be more likely to get a better performance in the long run as you become more and more advanced from other companies. Well the maverick feels alittle small but it plays really well. it is somewhat responsive but not to good for slack tricks. the maverick feels great and plays great
