Being a Martyr? People like you defame Islam by claiming to be Muslims. Islam comdemns killing. And obivously you didn't read Quran good enough because it clearly refers Muslim as Rahamat-ul-alameen; which means mercy on the mankind. With that being said, don't know what religion you were practicing

Matthew 5:5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
Joel 2:28-29 28 "And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. 29 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days.
Isaiah 53:5 But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed.
Song of Solomon 2: 10 My lover spoke and said to me, "Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, and come with me."
This scripture tells us that God loves to create The love relationship between us and God through Jesus Christ, so come to God, all believers, you are the beautiful one of God.
Matthew 5: 5Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
many of these so called muslims converted to christianty are hoaxes... they didnt practice islam ever.. and most of them are exil iranians.. meaning haters of islam...
I asked 'Aisha about the clothes soiled with semen. She replied, "I used to wash it off the clothes of Allah's Apostle and he would go for the prayer while water spots were still visible. "
From what I read, I'm assuming that you are asking where in the Bible does it state that Jesus is God.
"I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!" John 8:58 After saying this the people tried killing Him for Blasphemy. I am is God's title that Jesus takes.
"For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form" Colossians 2:9
We can also take a look at Prophecy concerning Jesus (that is if you know to take it as for Jesus)
Isaiah describes Him in chapter 9:
"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."
I know you are offended, that comes with the territory, but as I asked, keep an open mind.
In the Bible, Jesus said many things that in the Qur'an are left out. It's very vital information that the Qur'an leaves out, and for good reason... it threatens Islam.
Inded the King James version of the Bible mentins the pilgrims passing through the valley of Ba'ca(another name of Mecca)Psalms 84:4-6.
Isaiah 42:1-13 speaks of the belved of God. His elect and mesengr who wil brng dwn a law to be awaited in the isles and who "shall not fail nor be discraged till he have set judgement on earth." Verse 11, conects dAt awaited one with the descendants of Ke'dar. Who is Ke'dar? ACRDN to Genesis 25:13, Ke'dar was the 2ND son of Ishmael, the ancestor oF Muhamad.PBUH
the QURAN and bible are not enemies..there are many things that are written both in the quran and the bible only in different words
Deuteronomy 33:1-2 combines references to Moses, Jesus and Muhammad. It speaks of God (i.e. God's revelation) coming from Sinai, rising from Seir (probably the village of Sa'ir near Jerusalem) and shining forth from Paran. According to Genesis 21:21, the wilderness of Paran was the place where Ishmael settled (i.e. Arabia, specifically Mecca).
I understand where someone may think that, but the truth is is that the Qur'an and the Bible have very different takes on the character of God.
The Qur'an needed to have the appearance of godliness, and yet is merely a wolf in sheep's clothing.
I understand you must try and defend your religion, and that's fine, I don't hold that against you, but I honestly don't feel like arguing on this topic. It's way too diverse to debate in a youtube comment.
The qur'an teaches: For He loves not those who reject Faith (30:45) (Talking about Allah).
This is not true of God in the Bible, the Bible teaches that God loves all. Romans 5:8 says that He demonstrated His love in that Jesus died for us while we were still sinners.
The Bible teaches to love your enemies.
HUGE differences between the two, that's why I can't follow the Qur'an, it doesn't teach true love, and that is to love all, even your enemies.
quran teaches the truth...'For He loves not those who reject Faith'' means all those who do not believe God will be punished on the day of judgement.Quran teaches every thing to the point...Bible says at one place to kill the non believers
Cursed be he who does the Lords work remissly,
cursed he who holds back his sword from blood.(Jeremiah 48:10 NAB) there are 100's more.any way i agree wid u we 'll bth try to dfnd our religion..ad this will never stop..hope u have successfull judgement day.
Power of LOVE from God. Lets world see HIM that he is Lord and saviour. amien. Peace to you all. I love my father, son and holy spirit may guide me till the end.
islam is about peace...some people in the name of islam do kill people but that is not rite..jus because a group of people following is,am do wrong things dsnt mean that islam is wrong...u may hate some muslims.. believe me even i do...but wats wrong wid ISLAM...
It doesn't. You just take it out of context. Verses were sent down for a reason, read the tafsir(explanation) and you will know what the verse is trying to say. Quote whatever you are stating so I can show you that you misunderstood it. Now I have a question of my own to you. Why does the bible command to the children of parents who have sinned? Is that just?
Could you provide a reference? If you are talking about the instance when the guy took and hid gold from Jericho and his whole family was slain, I suppose the easy answer would be that his example would have gotten into his family. Perhaps even the family knew but allowed it.
Sin corrupts even the next generation, it's not merely what is seen on the outside, but what is sewn in the spirit.
God would not allow sin to even spread threw following generations. "Nip it in the bud" mentality I guess.
I've heard it put this way, "Documentary and Commentary".
When certain parts of the Bible are read, they are determined either by one or the other.
The only way to decipher between the two is to have the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Without Him inside you, you will not understand the true essence and teachings of the Bible.
The Qur'an hasn't been changed. The NT has been because they have taken out and added whatever they want. An example would be the old testament saying that you could have sex with girls who are virgins.
I think I may have found what you were talking about.
It's mentioned in Exodus and in Leviticus where if a child curses their parents they are to be put to death. Which of course it is clear that it is no longer a practice for today's believers according to the Bible, but to my knowledge it was to be done back then, and I think the reason being is because God was raising up the nation of Israel to be His faithful followers and could suffer no "bad eggs" for lack of a better term.
Basically, it was a crucial time in the raising of the nation of Israel, and God could not allow anything or anyone to corrupt the people at this time, and to show there is no tolerance for sin at this time, this Law was allowed. That's how I understand it anyway.
As for the Quran, "O you who have attained to faith! Fight against those unbelievers who are near you and let them find you adamant, and know that God is with those who are conscious of Him" (9:123).
"Now when you meet the unbelievers, smite their necks until you overcome them fully..." (47:4).
"Slay the pagans wherever you may come upon them, and take them captive, and besiege them, and lie in wait for them at every conceivable place..." (9:5).
"O Prophet! Strive hard (lit., make "jihad") against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be adamant with them... " (66:73).
I mean, as you say, I may just interpret "slay" wrong, but maybe you can clear this up.
Well u pointed out in the quran.. let me poin out from the bible and scriptures
'Bring here those who hated me and did not want me to be their king and kill them in front of me.' Luke 19:27
13:6 If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers; ( CONTINUED)
If your brother, son, daughter, wife, or friend tries to get you to worship another god, "thou shalt surely kill him, thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death." If Bible-believers followed this one, they would have to kill many of their own family and friends. I dnt knw abt Christianity. But in ISLAM we are not supposed to kill every non- believer there are kinda stepslike if there is a non muslim in a muslim areaCONTINUED
I'm referring to Ezekiel 23:45-47. Wouldn't it mean that the bible has been changed if what is in the OT is not in the NT? Read these ones as well: 1 Samuel 15:2-3, 2 Chronicles 15:13, Numbers 31:17,18, Deuteronomy 20:16. Now tell me what all these commands have in common.
Hopefully you have read the New Testament of the Bible, all of these would make sense to know that God was establishing a nation "Holy unto God". They were to be holy, set apart, but as time progressed, they kept on disobeying God, and so as a father disciplines a son, so also did God discipline His people.
The common thing you see here is that in the history of the people of God, you see God disciplining them time and time again.
Last thing I'll ask before you reply... in all fairness in terms of 'just', was it just that Muhammad raped and murdered and very much hated women of the same age as himself?
I've never quite understood how this is considered just myself, but Muhammad approved of it... even raping women that had been captured hours after their own husbands were killed right in front of them.
lol, That's new. Where did you hear that Muhammad raped an murdered and hated women? I'd like you to take some history lessons and look back at how women were treated 1400 years ago. Then look at how much rights Muhammad gave them and how much he respected them.
"Where did you hear that Muhammad raped an murdered and hated women?"
I count even begin to count how many historians, encyclopedias, books, and so on have stated this. It's historical fact. Maybe it's you who needs to brush up on some exegetical, unbiased, objective history studying.
That's rather funny, you don't know Muhammad(PBUH) more than I do. I've studied him my whole life. From is biography to is sayings. I know for a fact that Muhammad never murdered or raped anyone.
You know for a fact? You mean you were actually there? You've read every account of his life?
Then why is it that I have read probably the same material as you, as well as the documents claiming that he did do the things I said he did?
Could it be that you pick and choose what you want to study, and that is from a strictly muslim point of view and you are, dare I say, rather biased on the topic?
I'm just trying to get the truth out, and that means I have to study even the opposite of my belief
I've read more than you could ever read about one person. Muhammad(PBUH) is the one person that can bring me to tears from just reading about him. The Qur'an doesn't condone pedophilia but the bible does on the other hand. Show me some proof that Muhammad murdered or raped someone. Just tell me an event and I will show you that you don't know Muhammad.
enough of ur ugly stories...u jus make up when u dnt have anytn to say...y is it that muslim pick and choose what they want to study..y cant it be you guys make up all that u aud like to read...
All rite ..u worship jesus rite...could u please show me one verse in bible where jesus says i am the creator, I am god...
Almighty God speaks to Moses in Book of Deuteronomy chapter 18 verse 18:
"I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and I will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him."
The Christians say that this prophecy refers to Jesus (pbuh) because Jesus (pbuh) was like Moses (pbuh). Moses (pbuh) was a Jew, as well as Jesus (pbuh) was a Jew. Moses (pbuh) was a Prophet and Jesus (pbuh) was also a Prophet.
.i have never seen him loose a debate with any other scholar of another religion...those of you who dnt knw him check out his videos..he points out thousands of places in the books of other religion which point towards islam...
what i want to say his.. dnt follow any religion jus bcse ur family followed it when u were born....learn , enquire faithfully and you will find the rite religion...
frankly every one on the comment list is bluffing....( i have read this and that and that.) BULL SHITT...if your such a great scholar y arent u so popular....i knw nly one person who has memorised all the books of all the religions with the help of ALLAH. infact he is the only one i knw who has been able to do that...he does speeches on many topics that bother people about religion..(CONTINUED)
Yes, I read the complete quran (all of it). Actually, I've read it multiple times. I started reading with hopes that it would be enlightening; turned out to be totally unenlightening. It is just a mass of incoherent repetitive phrases that have little to no spiritual insight. Often the verses are nonsensical and they are misplaced chronologically. The "science" of the quran (embryology, etc.) also turns out to be totally wrong. (continued).
But my biggest problem with the quran is it necessarily requires muslims to try to establish an islamic government. That means that non-muslims and muslims will be treated differently by that government. This system always leads to oppression and injustice (the history of oppression of non-muslims in the middle east demonstates this. so does segregation in pre-1960's America). Also, the quran permits sexual slavery and other disgusting practices. Muhammad himself had such slaves. (continued)

About various religions, I am not sure which (if any) is true. But I am certain that islam is false. No just, compassionate God could have brought the horrible things that I have read in the quran; beating of women, make war on non-muslims and conqure them, etc. Horrible. No way islam is true. Maybe a different religion could be true I guess.
I agree with you but have you read the Old Testament recently? Have you read the Book of Revelations in New Testament recently? If you have not, I suggest strongly that you study those as well.
Best wishes..and may the Lord grant us all wisdom and knowledge so we may know the Truth.
Yup, I read them all. But bad things in one book does not make the bad things in another book ok. The Old Testament is full of bad things like the quran/hadith. But I don't think one can say the same about the B or Rev, because it is metaphorical and talks about the end of the world (destruction, etc. just like most religions). There isn't any command I can find in the B of Rev that says to do horrible things to others (at least that I have been able to find). If you can find one tell me.
(continued). I think the B of Rev is just full of tales about what will happen at the end (prophecies, blah, blah, blah). It's a very crazy book though. Hard to believe it could be true. Anyway, of all the religious books I've read, the New Testament, The Bhagavad Gita, and the Ba'hai books, are the best for morality. Is any religion true? I don't know. I only hope that a just God exists so that one day he will punish the human filth that did things like beat women, slavery, etc.
(continued). The worst books I have read are, for morality, are Old Testament and quran/hadith. They are equally full of bad things. Though the OT has some "prophets" that only do good things. As for me, my faith in the existance of a God is mostly dead. But I hope a just and compassionate God does exist and that somehow everything will turn out well.
ur takin lyk a kid who hasnt reached puberty.. grow upo and be sensible..islam never says all that...in ISLAM women are the most respected persons...thts y u see the least number of cases ( almost zero) in saudi arabia where islam is followed to great extent...on the other hand every 68 secs a woman is raped in the usa...every 14 mins in india..CONTINUED)..
Actually, you are talking like a kid. You are arguing that your religion is true while you have absolutely no evidence that God (or Allah or whatever) even exists. Without evidence, any command to believe in a "holy book" is meaningless because there is no way to know for certain that that book is true. Selecting a religion to believe in then becomes a gamble. Any God that establishes such a situation is unjust and not worth following. You are like a believer in Santa Claus.
you are taking like a kid..pickin up a discussion with no knowledge...Well actually i can give u evidences from your own bible...anyway i dn wana discus it with a fool...and waste my time and By the wau jesus ( pbuh ) never said that he was GOD
I, too, was born into a Muslim family, who, no less, claimed to have descended from Prophet Mohammad. Though, not always a religious muslim, I'v always spiritual & have had a strong belief in God. I've not been a practitioner of namaz & rouzeh, or any of Foroe-din. When I've prayed, it has always been a silent or quite conversation with God. For years now, I have even adopted the Lord's Prayer & do recite it often when having my conversation prayers
Yet, despite the strength of my faith in the Lord, & even despite my repeated requests over the course of many years, I am yet to experience his presence in my life....just for once I wish I would see him in the same manner as Afshin, just once I wish I could talk with him as Afshin has.
Yes, I did. I have read the Torat (the Old Testament), the Four Gospels, as well as other Books of the New Testament, Nevi'im (Prophets), and Ketuvim (Writings), Quran, Talmud (both Mishnah and Gemara), Midrash, the Vedas (samhita, brAhmaNa, Aranyaka & upanishat), .............
Well, I think that Afshin is fortunate in having Christ appear to him or even before then, when he saw silhouette of a "protector."
He describes his early youth as a religious & honest person. But then, he says he was caught in Malaysia w/ 30 forged passports. I'd like to know how did he end up having 30 forged passports on him.
He did not believe in Christ before but still he would come across spirits, & was clairvoyant. He says even before becoming a Christian, he had "special" powers.
Thing that Muslims do (Quran & parents promote) is that a great many of them marry their first cousins!!!!!!!!!! No joke, out of my relatives...nearly half of them married their first cousins. I know this is the reason why there are a lot of backwards thinkers & barbaric people withing Muslims. It's not a rare occurance, it occurs in EVERY muslim country (by great numbers). Like I said, nearly half of my relatives married their first cousins.
We all know that slavery is inhuman, immoral and unethical, yet neither Judaism, nor Christianity, nor Islam did forbid slavery outright. Could a "good" God issue forth the 10 Commandment without saying a word about slavery?
This is the most beautiful testimony, I highly recommend watching these films, you can tell his testimony is true. Thank you for sharing your story with us.
All my brothers.. and sisters.. i love you.. just like Jesus Love you... He have saved this man... i love everyone.. even so they were muslims.. i love each of them.. Because GOD is LOVE... Jesus Christ will saved each of you... everyday... every seconds..... Amen... i love you MidEasTBeauTy408 .. jay3antjay3ant . i love you both..
"Whatever one believes in one's heart is the true path. This is revealed individually to each by the Devine that unites us all as one people. None can steer us along that path but we ourselves, nor should any be fool enough to try or it will lead to the abyss of falsehood. Faith that is true can only be discovered within, and any imposition of belief from without will be tyranny and an evil, parasitic lie. Beware those who would tell us what to believe; the answer lies within each of us."
the funny about allt this videos...All of them are muslims and talking little but evil things about islam.Have not a atheism convert to christianity? strange ha?.WHen chirstians are reverting to islam they dont talk about so much christianity..They just use logic and sense but the christians just try to fake by putting emetions thats is true!!!you have the video infront of you this a proof...Just emetions beacuse they can not do it in another wway
WOW, i tell you the truth, Muslims might think he is already christian and he is faking it, but honestly some Christians by name will also say he is faking it because he belongs to a certain church group.
But if it weren't for Jesus actually calling no one has any salvation. not even Christians!
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
the guys praying in the sunni way, not the shia way...and how dare he say "why would jesus help me"...muslims are very strong believers in jesus and would never ask that question...
If you read about Jesus saying; Joh 3:7 "Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.' This man was Born again. He sees and knows what Jesus meant. He experienced God's transforming power and love.
wow brother!I have also said the powerful name of our Lord Jesus and seen a spirit that was hearting me desepear before I even got to say the holy name of Jesus to the end...it was very strange.and it took me also months to realise that what actuelly happend and most importanetly why did happen!!HALLELUJA!Amen.

However, it is Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) who is like Moses (pbuh):
i) Both had a father and a mother, while Jesus (pbuh) was born miraculously without any male intervention.
[Mathew 1:18 and Luke 1:35 and also
Al-Qur'an 3:42-47]
ii)Both were married and had children. Jesus (pbuh) according to the Bible did not marry nor had children.
iii)Both died natural deaths. Jesus (pbuh) has been raised up alive. (4:157-158)

"I and the Father are one."
John 10:30
And a person's response to Jesus in John 10:33 you, a mere man, claim to be God.

I don't follow that because the words of the Qur'an do not measure up to what I believe to be the true word of God.
The Bible and the Qur'an are in a sense total enemies. They battle and war against each other.
mikeyboy86 2 years ago

I pray God leads you to the truth of Jesus.

Last thing I'll say.
HUGE differences between the two, that's why I can't follow the Qur'an, it doesn't teach true love, and that is to love all, even your enemies.
mikeyboy86 2 years ago 2
quran teaches the truth...'For He loves not those who reject Faith'' means all those who do not believe God will be punished on the day of judgement.Quran teaches every thing to the point...Bible says at one place to kill the non believers

If these two are the only criteria for this prophecy to be fulfilled, then all the Prophets of the Bible who came after
Moses (pbuh) such as Solomon, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Malachi, John the Baptist, etc. (pbut) will
fulfill this prophecy since all were Jews as well as prophets.

I am truly asking this out of curiousity.
Why does the Koran teach to kill the infidel? What other meaning might this have?
mikeyboy86 2 years ago
Is that just?
jollierancher123 2 years ago
I'm sorry, I misunderstand your question. Can you reword it another way please?
mikeyboy86 2 years ago
Oh sorry. I meant, why does the bible command to slay the children of the parents who have sinned?
jollierancher123 2 years ago
Could you provide a reference? If you are talking about the instance when the guy took and hid gold from Jericho and his whole family was slain, I suppose the easy answer would be that his example would have gotten into his family. Perhaps even the family knew but allowed it.
Sin corrupts even the next generation, it's not merely what is seen on the outside, but what is sewn in the spirit.
God would not allow sin to even spread threw following generations. "Nip it in the bud" mentality I guess.
mikeyboy86 2 years ago
Okay then, why would you attack another religion when your bible says the same?
jollierancher123 2 years ago
Because basically our Bible teaches what happened. To my understanding, your religion still teaches it.
If you know anything of the NT you'll know that much of the Law was 'fulfilled' and done away with.
I'm going to send you a couple of links VIA Pm.
mikeyboy86 2 years ago
I've heard it put this way, "Documentary and Commentary".
When certain parts of the Bible are read, they are determined either by one or the other.
The only way to decipher between the two is to have the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Without Him inside you, you will not understand the true essence and teachings of the Bible.
mikeyboy86 2 years ago
The Qur'an hasn't been changed. The NT has been because they have taken out and added whatever they want. An example would be the old testament saying that you could have sex with girls who are virgins.
jollierancher123 2 years ago
I think I may have found what you were talking about.
It's mentioned in Exodus and in Leviticus where if a child curses their parents they are to be put to death. Which of course it is clear that it is no longer a practice for today's believers according to the Bible, but to my knowledge it was to be done back then, and I think the reason being is because God was raising up the nation of Israel to be His faithful followers and could suffer no "bad eggs" for lack of a better term.
mikeyboy86 2 years ago
Basically, it was a crucial time in the raising of the nation of Israel, and God could not allow anything or anyone to corrupt the people at this time, and to show there is no tolerance for sin at this time, this Law was allowed. That's how I understand it anyway.
As for the Quran, "O you who have attained to faith! Fight against those unbelievers who are near you and let them find you adamant, and know that God is with those who are conscious of Him" (9:123).
cont...
mikeyboy86 2 years ago

"Thine hand shall be first upon him."
If your brother, son, daughter, wife, or friend tries to get you to worship another god, "thou shalt surely kill him, thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death." If Bible-believers followed this one, they would have to kill many of their own family and friends. I dnt knw abt Christianity. But in ISLAM we are not supposed to kill every non- believer there are kinda stepslike if there is a non muslim in a muslim areaCONTINUED
cr7usman 2 years ago
Luke 19:27 was in a parable, so that was by means a command to kill.
I'm not sure what your other references come from so maybe you could provide the Book that you are reading from.
However, if it is from the OT you should know that it is most likely not practiced today because of the teachings of the NT.
mikeyboy86 2 years ago
I'm referring to Ezekiel 23:45-47. Wouldn't it mean that the bible has been changed if what is in the OT is not in the NT? Read these ones as well: 1 Samuel 15:2-3, 2 Chronicles 15:13, Numbers 31:17,18, Deuteronomy 20:16. Now tell me what all these commands have in common.
jollierancher123 2 years ago
Hopefully you have read the New Testament of the Bible, all of these would make sense to know that God was establishing a nation "Holy unto God". They were to be holy, set apart, but as time progressed, they kept on disobeying God, and so as a father disciplines a son, so also did God discipline His people.
The common thing you see here is that in the history of the people of God, you see God disciplining them time and time again.
mikeyboy86 2 years ago
Last thing I'll ask before you reply... in all fairness in terms of 'just', was it just that Muhammad raped and murdered and very much hated women of the same age as himself?
I've never quite understood how this is considered just myself, but Muhammad approved of it... even raping women that had been captured hours after their own husbands were killed right in front of them.
mikeyboy86 2 years ago
lol, That's new. Where did you hear that Muhammad raped an murdered and hated women? I'd like you to take some history lessons and look back at how women were treated 1400 years ago. Then look at how much rights Muhammad gave them and how much he respected them.
jollierancher123 2 years ago
"Where did you hear that Muhammad raped an murdered and hated women?"
I count even begin to count how many historians, encyclopedias, books, and so on have stated this. It's historical fact. Maybe it's you who needs to brush up on some exegetical, unbiased, objective history studying.
mikeyboy86 2 years ago
That's rather funny, you don't know Muhammad(PBUH) more than I do. I've studied him my whole life. From is biography to is sayings. I know for a fact that Muhammad never murdered or raped anyone.
jollierancher123 2 years ago
You know for a fact? You mean you were actually there? You've read every account of his life?
Then why is it that I have read probably the same material as you, as well as the documents claiming that he did do the things I said he did?
Could it be that you pick and choose what you want to study, and that is from a strictly muslim point of view and you are, dare I say, rather biased on the topic?
I'm just trying to get the truth out, and that means I have to study even the opposite of my belief
mikeyboy86 2 years ago
I've read more than you could ever read about one person. Muhammad(PBUH) is the one person that can bring me to tears from just reading about him. The Qur'an doesn't condone pedophilia but the bible does on the other hand. Show me some proof that Muhammad murdered or raped someone. Just tell me an event and I will show you that you don't know Muhammad.
jollierancher123 2 years ago
I am willing to bet you have read no material by Watt and Richard Bell, and Friedrich Bodenstedt.
Because if you have studied for so many years, surely you have read something from these?

(continued).
gungnir2357 2 years ago

Maybe a different religion could be true I guess.
gungnir2357 2 years ago 2
I agree with you but have you read the Old Testament recently? Have you read the Book of Revelations in New Testament recently? If you have not, I suggest strongly that you study those as well.
Best wishes..and may the Lord grant us all wisdom and knowledge so we may know the Truth.
ArashKamangar 2 years ago
Yup, I read them all. But bad things in one book does not make the bad things in another book ok. The Old Testament is full of bad things like the quran/hadith. But I don't think one can say the same about the B or Rev, because it is metaphorical and talks about the end of the world (destruction, etc. just like most religions). There isn't any command I can find in the B of Rev that says to do horrible things to others (at least that I have been able to find). If you can find one tell me.
gungnir2357 2 years ago
(continued). I think the B of Rev is just full of tales about what will happen at the end (prophecies, blah, blah, blah). It's a very crazy book though. Hard to believe it could be true. Anyway, of all the religious books I've read, the New Testament, The Bhagavad Gita, and the Ba'hai books, are the best for morality. Is any religion true? I don't know. I only hope that a just God exists so that one day he will punish the human filth that did things like beat women, slavery, etc.
gungnir2357 2 years ago
(continued). The worst books I have read are, for morality, are Old Testament and quran/hadith. They are equally full of bad things. Though the OT has some "prophets" that only do good things. As for me, my faith in the existance of a God is mostly dead. But I hope a just and compassionate God does exist and that somehow everything will turn out well.

cr7usman 2 years ago
Actually, you are talking like a kid. You are arguing that your religion is true while you have absolutely no evidence that God (or Allah or whatever) even exists. Without evidence, any command to believe in a "holy book" is meaningless because there is no way to know for certain that that book is true. Selecting a religion to believe in then becomes a gamble. Any God that establishes such a situation is unjust and not worth following. You are like a believer in Santa Claus.

I must admit I'm envious of Afshin.
ArashKamangar 2 years ago
Yet, despite the strength of my faith in the Lord, & even despite my repeated requests over the course of many years, I am yet to experience his presence in my life....just for once I wish I would see him in the same manner as Afshin, just once I wish I could talk with him as Afshin has.
But so far, no luck whatsoever.

I have studied Islam as well as other religions. Islam is the truth. All the other religions are not the word of God, but rather, man.

Please correct the wrong spelling you have used.
The word "Shi'ite" is spelled just like I have here, and not "Shitte." That is the wrong spelling.
The word "Shi'ite" is pronounced "She-Ate."
You can refer to Webster's Dictionary (hard copy or online) and look up the spelling, pronounciation, and meaning for "Shiite."
You do not win anyone over by insulting them, and it show poorly of you when you do that.
