Look on the 1911 forums about flat firing pin stops (fps) then look for EGW oversized flat firing pin stops. You'll significantly cut down the recoil. Enjoy.

This particular specimen is a work of art.

I don't know that I would have gone with the plastic guard above the trigger bow, but I guess that would depend on your grip.
