Well, this older car doesn't have power brakes, and stops great with the batteries in it. On newer cars with power brakes, you just add a vacuum pump. It's pretty cheap. You power it with the 12v battery that powers the lights and blinkers and whatever else. I think the vacuum pump might be like $80 or something, but I'm not sure.
@Shishizurui Usually a small electric pump is used to hold the vacuum, and it comes on every 3rd or 4th time you need to use the brakes to replenish the vacuum. Usually it also runs off the 12v system.
I'm using a 24v 103amp for 1 hour 60 pound DC Series wound GE motor. I'm running it at 72v. My controller is a 400amp 72v Curtis. I have 6 12v batteries, which are Sears Platinum Edition Deep Cycle. The chargers were $20 each from harbor freight. I have 6 of them for the 6 batteries, and they charge at a rate of 6 amps. I ate another possum yesterday. This one was really rotten, so I got sick.
Don't worry, I'm still waiting on extra lugs to come. The company I ordered them from is taking forever. Then I'll make a video of how to cheaply and reliably attach lugs.
Don"t you have a radio in tht thing?

The LHC is playing around with the lead ions in your battery (see 'LHC Rap' video on YouTube for further explanation).
I was born in the 50's and I been travelling forward in time ever since, without the aid of a flux capacitor.
WOW! I've reached 2008 and still no flying cars!
