worlds youngest welder

I was welding at age 11 and building go carts and motor bikes. Dad had me go to collage and take advanced class's at age 14. I am almost 60. I still weld, but just at home on my little projects and I only use a tig welder. Great video.

He should have tacked the other side of the piece so it wouldn't tilt up on him. Just kidding :-). Good job kid! Keep up the practice and you can be an underwater welder or a pipeline (gas pipeline that is) welder and make 8 times what I do!

i rember when my dad started teaching me when i was 5 i thought it was the coolest thing ever.

stuff like this is great for the kids they rember "the times with dad" and learn a usefull skill

absolutely. my grandfather taught me how to strike an arc when i was pretty young (when i was still scared of it lol) and i just can't get enough of it to this day.

theres just something about melting steel together that you cant get anywhere else i guess :D
