  • They took out fruits and root vegetables? WTF!!! That's as natural and healthy as you can get! I eat organic, but I eat a variety of foods. Fruit, vegetables, dairy, meat. You need a VARIETY of foods to be healthy. It's about balance.

  • Eating disorder can kill, but it's NOT the raw vegan diet that makes you sick!

  • 80-10-10 will set up 90% of the people to go down this road

  • @HappierHealthierYou And what makes you think that?

  • @orszaghaza its defiantly stes people up to fear many foods, its not mentally sound, nor nutritionally. those are facts, prove me wrong , go on the diet or remain on it for decades thrive be healthy and strong

  • @HappierHealthierYou Many people have been on this diet for years and years. They look very healthy and strong to me!

  • @orszaghaza they better *look healthy. if they spend all there time and energy *trying to eat healthy and training they better be doing decent! but this is planet earth. you can not speak on a diet success until they have babies and the 80 10 10 babies have babies. do you get what i am saying? im talking 2 million years! you need to understand anthropology, do you picture generations thriving of this diet?

  • @HappierHealthierYou Crap eating people had babies and their babies had babies and look around: cancer, diabetes, high blodd pressure, high cholesterol...etc. The best selling drug is Lipitor for god's sake!

Dr. Doug Graham or DurianRider don't try to look healthy (just to name a few), they are healthy. Yes, I can picture generations thriving on raw, plant based diet, but I cannot picture anyone thriving on carcass.

  • @orszaghaza not exactly true 75% of our diet did not exist or was raised/ grown differently than now. And guess what, "crap eating" people are becoming sterile! lowest sperm and testorsterone levels off all time. And like you said disease. So given TIME 1000's of years they will be dead. Plant based diets are key your right! but the fact that no civilization was ever vegan is not a good sign, those carcass diets got you here 2 million years later! you ever think about that

  • @HappierHealthierYou You are contradictinng yourself.

Read "The China Study'. There are people who are vegan, not by following a diet trend but by tradition.

  • @orszaghaza the china study has been debunked, and has a million variables. look up videos exposng it. and any way your right, plant based diet is key. but so is adding organic, grass fed, cage free, local, etc. animals product. That study did not say if if was from a factory cow pumped with antibiotics that never seen the outdoors?? think about it. Thats a sick animal, how far would you get eating sick plants?

  • @HappierHealthierYou Keep supporting slaughterhouses if that's what makes you happy, but I strongly disagree with you. Humans do NOT need to eat animal products.

The China study debunked? Let me guess, it was debunked indirectly by the meat and diary industry!

  • @orszaghaza i do not support slaughter houses, i buy my met from local sustainable farms. wayyy better for plants and animals than supporting mono crop/tropical agriculture! And i highly suggest you look into the china study. You should want to know these things, google it being debunked, also heck out cintronbrandon channel. as him about it, the kid is very smart and was on 80 10 10 about a couple months ago, instead of folling a guru blindly he did his own research, ask him about the study

  • @HappierHealthierYou I'm a life long vegetarian, I don't care where your meat comes from I can't imagine more disgusting thing to eat. So no matter how someone wants to debunk The China Study there's no way I will start to eat meat.

How long cintronbrandon was on 80/10/10? Only a few months? And waht, no miracle happened right away?

  • @orszaghaza thats fine you dont have to eat meat! but know veganism is rooted in ethical reasoning! not health reasoning! your guru aint tellin ya that. he was a vegan for at least 5 years. Hey i have a question, how long have you been "raw" lol?

  • @HappierHealthierYou 4.5 years.Started as gourmet (high fat) raw in 2007 June, then from August 2010 did a "juice feast"(126 days) and since then 80/10/10.Raw veganism is rooted in health; read books from Victoria Boutenko, Alissa Cohen, Dr Ann Wigmore and so on!They all chose raw veganism for health reasons. So did Dr. Max Gerson whos mostly raw diet cured many cancer patients. My feeling is that you don't know many things about raw veganism. Educate yourself and try it before you form an opinion

  • @serchingthetruth um i was a raw vegan for years, i kow alot about it. yes it cures disease, but that dosnt mean the same diet for a cancer patient is the same diet for everyone. alot of leaders in the raw food movement admit they are not raw anymore, some not vegan. if you respect anthropology you would know there is a reason no human was ever a vegan, back in the day all they did was try to eat a perfect diet. it is not sustainable, you will deplete hormones and minerals.

  • @HappierHealthierYou You mean growth hormones from beef? Thanks, I deplete that gladly!

  • @HappierHealthierYou Yah if they do it fucking wrong.

  • @Jordonified i guess all you can do is be a great example of the diet. between poor produce, poor weather, the fact bananas are sterile unatural hybrids, ignore so many food groups. I do not recommend it for anyone, but go 80 10 10 or frutarian and prove me wrong

  • @HappierHealthierYou 80/10/10 is a ratio. You can eat whatever as long as you keep it in the ratio. It teaches you what your body wants in terms of fuel. People who eat this diet perform better in sports (mike arnstein, durianrider). Do your homework noob.

  • @Jordonified um well you could just east junk gfood that falls in that ratio... um those guys are bums, they are not pro in any sport and never will be. why dont i just look to the 1000's of pro athletes who eat whole organic foods? check out cintronbrandon channel, he is 1000x more smarter then you, and also was a orthorexic dogmatic 80 10 10 noob until he actually read some proven science

  • @HappierHealthierYou Mike Arnsetin? 2:28 marathon? Get your facts straight noobcake. You need to check out foodnsport's pro athletes page.

  • @Jordonified oh my another long distance cardio vegan....get real, how about you, you have any pics you wanna send me of you thriving!

  • @HappierHealthierYou I'll be glad to send you some pics or make a video. What do you want to see?

  • @Jordonified Well the vegan diet is a new age experiment with new age foods. Im positive only a small perctenage can do well on it. Maybe your one of them. How long have you really been on this raw vegan diet? truthfully, are you thriving. I dont know post a pic of you, your face, body. Be a example of health in the vegan community.

  • @HappierHealthierYou We'll abstaining from alcohol and drugs is a "new age" experiment too. Doesn't mean we shouldn't do it. Never said my diet was "raw". I follow doug's 80/10/10 ratio and am vegan but I do eat grains, starchy veggies and tofu occasionally. I eat a ton of fruit and it is my main source of calories but I am not afraid of cooked food. I am 6 foot 138 lbs. I am thriving. I use to have chronic fatigue and acne. It went away when I went high carb vegan. I run almost every day.

  • @Jordonified LOL! drug use and alcohol abuse is at an all time high... At least the natural "drugs" back then had medicinal properties lol. Now they are just harmful chemical street drugs that didnt even exist back then lol... Is tofu soy, becuase soy is THE worst thing you could eat. If monsanto soy is in your tofu you kill more aniamls than a steakatarian lol. Well a vegan diet is a great detox program so i would expect your symptoms to go away lol. dude you guru is feeding you crap.

  • @HappierHealthierYou Did I not talk to you already about the okinawan diet and tofu? It is perfectly healthy if you eat it occasionally. The stuff I buy is organic and non GMO. Post a video of you going for a 5k run and your time. I'd like to see how fit you are since you talk a lot of crap. If durianrider's diet is so unhealthy how come he has wicked running times and is able to cycle with team garmin and the likes?

Get you shit straight before you talk crap.

  • Soy is estrogenic, if you knew how much estrogenic bpa were exposed to, you wouldnt touch the stuff. Testosterone and sperm all time low, estrogen all time high. Second, i thought you did not like indeginous nutrition lol, neways i agree plant based diet with small amount of animal products is key (lets not forget tropical weather, clean water, clean air, non hybrid produce lol), have to take those things into consideration. I bet your bananas they would use as door stops LOL!

  • @Jordonified Anyways, discussing durians perfomrance. Um he puts in the hard work lol, you aint gonna put up those times just eating dates. Just like the garmin guys he trains with that are all meat eaters. long distance cardio is training, training, training period. Just think of how many basiacly SAD dieters that have way better times than him, genetics and training... I do not do long distance cardio, i want my hard work in the gym to be noticeable. im not a super athlete, just lean and cut

  • @HappierHealthierYou Obviously he knows what food helps his athletic performance. His times are very good for his age. You don't know much about endurance training obviously, you even said you do weight lifting. Dates = Carbs = Fuel = Glycogen.

  • @Jordonified carb loading from fruit is a great idea! i do know alot about endurance training, but just becuase carb loading from fruit is good for endurance training does not mean you should eat only or mostly fruit. And any ways that guys life style is not like yours, he goes to bed at six, lives in a tropical country, has not seen a winter in years, trains daily, no 9-5, ect ect. way to many factors for his performance/thriving off the diet. diet is one little piece of the pie to thriving

  • @HappierHealthierYou Carb loading is a myth. You need to eat carbs on a day to day basis to constantly make sure your glycogen tank is full, not just before race day. Of course diet isn't the only part of the puzzle. Sleep, exercise, sunshine, freshair and not being stressful are all important. Your only as strong as your weakest link. Anyone can be like DR, they just have to set their mind straight.

  • @Jordonified i was saying carb loading for a race, yea you need to make sure you glycogen tank is full, but that still does not mean you should only/mostly eat fruit. If you are honest with your self you should know there is a reason why no one has ever been fruitarian/vegan. Some can have success with the diet most will not. When or if you get to the point were you know you are unhealthy, do not think more fruit is answer. do not get stuck in a dogma, do what you need to do to get healthy.

  • @HappierHealthierYou Why would you not make fruit as your main calories source? Fruit has the most nutrition per bite of any food. Fruit represents what we as humans need in terms of vitamins/minerals. When I eat lots of fruit I feel good, I perform well. I can see why people follow this lifestyle. Simply because it works.

  • @Jordonified I wouldnt eat fruit as a main calorie source:1.) i live in the mid west- fruit qualty is poor, picked premature, low quality. 2.) i think its bad for the enviornment/animals to fly tropical fruit to my doorstep daily. 3.)alot of fruit is sterile lab made hybirds. not a natural hybird that happened in nautre 10000 years ago, i mean a lab made STERILE hybrid. Gods way of saying this plant should not reproduce for a reason.

  • @HappierHealthierYou All fruits are hybrid. Your a hybrid, I'm a hybrid. Ask any botanist.

  • @Jordonified plus even if you ate a ton of fruit, if you think eating a piece of wild caught salmon is a bad thing, you are lying to yourself. IF i was eating high fruiy id mimick a island diet and eat fish that gives you essential minerals/vitamins/fats. Hardcore science says you need these things, i wouldnt take advice froma animal rights extremist with a finacial agenda, telling you fish is bad.

  • @HappierHealthierYou I don't think salmon contributes to health. Fruit has no negative side effects, fish has cholesterol and saturated fat. I would rather get my omega's from a cleaner and more ethical source.

  • @Jordonified Science says your wrong. I think your diet creates mental stress and creates complexes. Your was CREATED for ethical reasons, you got that right, for health not so much. Science and time say i am right. When you are not doing well on the raw lifestyle, you will have to make a choice, and you might sacrifice your health for you ego.

  • @HappierHealthierYou What science? Esselstyn, Campbell, Ornish, McDougall. Saturated fat and cholesterol are bad bro. Do some research. Talk is cheap. I've found the light at the end of the tunnel. I am fit and healthy. Use to be weak, now im stronger than ever. I ain't eating fish or bacon, lard or grease. Fruits, veggies, grains and legumes are my fuel. Never said I was raw. Your on the right path. Keep looking. You'll figure it out soon enough.

  • @Jordonified I was a vegan i been doing this for a while. Time will tell... I bet this deit will not exist is 20 years...

  • @HappierHealthierYou Oh now your a vegan? Lmao, get outa here.

  • @Jordonified I was a vegan hahah, is your testosterone so low that you think only you are special lol. what are you talking about yes i was a vegetarian, vegan, even dabbled in frutariansm my dude. Like i said time will tell, some can thrive on this deit, most can not. we will see in 25 years which one are you. and if you do not do well on the diet, you might be the follow up on abc..johhny part 2

  • @HappierHealthierYou How many years do you think it will take?

  • @Jordonified alot of vegans hit walls around 10-15 year marks. alot around 5 year mark. everyone is different, you might be fine for your entire life. but i think you are thinking of this in a very micro self centered way. to measure success of a diet would be if you are vegan for the rest of your life, then your kids are, then their kids are ect ect. and with the increasing estrogenic mimicking chemicals all around us... i dont see a low testosterone vegan diet going for generations

  • @HappierHealthierYou I've been vegan for over 3 years now. My results started to show after about a year. I've kept it up because I feel so good. I just can't relate to what your saying. As for the testosterone you've gotta eat enough cals bro. Go check out veganbodybuilding(dot)com if your worried about that. There's no excuse for not being vegan except that you dont have the nuts to do it.

  • @Jordonified lol three years! great scott, lets not even think about the previous 2 million years that made your life possible! lol they dude theres poeple in prison who ate microwavable dinners for the past 20 years and have no body fat and are ripped. Get your testosterone tested bro. i bet its low, and who cares becuase that normal range was creatded by a fat meat eater lol. Your so fanatical, three years, and you labeled yourself for life what you are and arent going to eat. THATS NATURAL

  • @HappierHealthierYou At least I'm taking responsibility and not being a blank canvass like you blaming vegans for everything. Your flaky as shit bro. Get off your ass and get fit. I want to see some fittness/health vids on your channel. I want to see some fit and healthy meat eaters who were vegans.

  • @Jordonified a vegan calling me flaky for mimicking a diet that dates back 2 million years.. :/ your 20 years lol. get off my ass and get fit lol i just got back from the gym. about to go eat some eggs.. mmmmmm you want to see fit healthy meat eaters who were vegans. check out cintronbrandon channel. full of vegans who know more about the vegan diet that you. long time vegans who made the switch and got healthier. swing by there and drop some comments about it

  • @HappierHealthierYou Why don't you post some vids of you at the gym? I'm gonna be posting a lot of races this spring and summer. You talk a big game so I want to see you put it into action. I've wasted enough time with you so I don't need to see some more wankers who did the vegan diet wrong and now eat dead carcass.

  • @Jordonified lol im not superman, just a cut lean 25 year old thats active haha. im not gonna take your breath away and bench 8000 pounds from my super human meat diet lol. did the diet wrong lol good one, even though they were vegans for oever a decade and read ever piece of literature out there. less talking more looking, cintronbrandon, on his next video ask some questions

  • He just isn't eating enough calories. He needs to focus more on fruits, starchy vegetables and grains. Orthorexic people are not healthy eaters and have a skewed view of what healthy eating really is typically. The guy at the end was correct. We are living longer simply because we are not dying of viruses. Also we are not living much longer than we did 100 years ago with out all the medicine and shots we have today.

  • The guy in the end is right though, just because we are living longer doesn't mean squat. Being hooked up to machines and living the rest of your life on medications is not health, in my opinion. This video was designed to make true health and natural diets look bad.

  • @healthfreak18 No it wasn't. It was designed to point what can happen when it goes to far.

  • (cont'd) Taking an unhealthy approach to eating healthy is not good for you.

  • I'm not obsessed w/ health but definitely wanna be healthy. Was vegan for 6 months but I love cheese too much lol so now am a very strict vegetarian. I don't eat processed, canned or frozen just whole, fresh foods. I RARELY get sick am a 5'5, 135lbs 25-yr-old woman. I make sure that I eat veggies, grains, fruits & only eat cheese if it's all natural (not that kraft junk). I'm healthy and happy. The report literally shows that if you are concerned abt eating healthy its not good for you. Pure bs.

  • Why is that first woman smiling when she talks about this? freak.

  • this is insane becuase this is the opposite of how we are supposed to naturally eat. Eat like a cave man. search paleo diet and get healthy

  • My tip is to eat whatever food you can find as long as it isnt processed on step to long! for example . milk needs to be in som extent processed to be healthy so its okay to drink milk but meat from a cow dosent need to be grind and mixed with additives and e-nummers so buy clean meat and make it yourself.. and the last tip.. be lact ovo vegeterian at breakfast and chicken or fisheater at lunch and vegan att dinner an there you mixing and get a balance

  • I just want to throw a cheeseburger at them!

  • @ca1cifer You wanna throw some unhealthy crap at an unhealthy person? Might as well put heroin in a crackhouse.

  • @HybridD91 Your analogy is kind of dumb but whatever floats your boat.

  • ...¬¬

  • He sure doesn't look healthy... same thing with everyone of my friends who eats only veggies. They're skinny and look like they could break at any moment.

  • Johnny looks like a woman with a beard.

  • @armoredhorse79 he's loosing his life force.

  • give me a freaking break. i actually gained weight and muscle when i went raw because i was undernourished from the typical american diet! cooking, aka killing, your food kills all the nutrients out of your food. eating a raw diet keeps all those nutrients in your food. i honestly feel this show is just bullshit propoganda to keep our country fat and sick by eating all these meats w/ chemicals and hormones. then when we go to the doctor you can give them your money for the medication! its sick

  • @MrSupasexi

IT IS PROPAGANDA . Johnny has a youtube and it says he is orthorexic as well as anorexic. Orthorexia exists no doubt but they are FALSELY portraying it...

  • I have this, I went to treatment for it... I was 74 pounds (45 pounds under body weight). I still struggle with it, the obsession doesn't go away, it's a lifelong process of abstinence... It's kinda like a response to having a compulsive overeating disorder and you say, "okay, I won't "diet", I'll just do a "health" diet"; it's "an offshoot of anorexia", kinda like instead of obsessing about which foods will keep you "thin", you're obsessing over which ones will make you healthy... :(

  • 6:35- OMG is that the same lady from the supersize vs superskinny show?? Anybody know the name of this lady, she looks so familiar?

  • Talk about taking things and placing them in your own context this is a completely warped report. They made the story what they wanted it's journalism from a bias.

  • pfff... people are so stupid... these are caprices of the bourgeoisie, make me sick

  • what kind of stupid raw foodist doesn't eat fruit, that's one of the most important parts

  • XMFD @ vegan fags in comments

  • it's better than eating burgers, at least you're getting nutritional benefits out of it.

  • he WAS anorexic, but he recovered. He now eats healthy because he chooses to. If you don't like it then piss off, no one asked for your opinion anyways

  • the guy looks old bc he has no fat to fill out his face and body, he is malnourished.if i have 2 hear "life force" again, someone help me-these are vegetables and fruits ppl-not humans, they aren't breathing. i think these ppl are way too xtreme.

  • John Stossel is just a bucket of mind poison.

  • Those are PARANOID and ANOREXIC examples of raw foodists! I am 100% Low Fat Raw Vegan and I consume enough calories for my body size and activity. I eat mostly fruit(of the sweetest kinds) I work, go to school, exercise, have a social life. Ex: I am 5'5" 130 lbs and todays total calorie intake is 2574. I use the CRON-o-METER to track my nutrition... not because I am obsessive, but because I like to make sure I am getting the proper daily nutrition.

  • @evolveloveful Congratulations on being raw :-)

  • this is so slanted...ridiculous. there are plenty of healthy raw foodists running ultramarathons, riding bikes, eating plenty of food...

  • @TeamRunLikeASissy completely agree!

  • Raw food, no problem here. All mental and obsessed people, detox your mind first. peace

  • Actually, Viktoras kulvinskas has a certain point - the animal fear is translated into adrenalin, which gets in the food. It has been proven that animals that lead a good life and were slaughtered 'humanely', give better meat.

Also, America may be living longer than ever, with 50% obesity, cancer and diabetes it's not really living healthier than ever. So Moustacheman (5:30) doesn't really have a point.

  • crazy....

  • Okay, I think the skinny guy is just anorexic and using healthiness as an excuse to be anorexic...

  • Ok I also have to ask, What's the point in living longer with all the diseases coming about in this country? And at 5:50, it was a bad example to use America in that category lol.

  • This has to be fake, I'm sorry. This person looks more like anorexic. What's wrong with wanting to only eat healthy and avoid bad things. As long as you don't make it a "religion" there shouldn't be a problem. I think that people in general just feel uncomfortable when someone tries to be healthy.

  • I have found fault within this guys diet: he's not eating enough fruits or nuts and seeds. The problem is that he is mostly eating vegetables, which have zip calories compared to fruit or nuts.

This guy has to learn to eat more fruit and nuts. The raw food diet is not about making recipes, its about eating foods in their raw natural state without putting them into recipes. He needs to eat like 6 tropical fruits in one meal or so, 3 meals a day. Then only after that he'd be considered healthy.

  • Just having fruits and vegetables will not make you sick. I have seen some people with PERFECT health that ONLY eat fruits and vegetables. People with these anorexia problems are the ones that don't eat enough food actually, but it is not their diet that makes them anorexic.

  • Orthorexia - "an unhealthy psychological obsession to good food" -- It's not the food that is making these people unhealthy - it's a food obsession & they refuse to eat. I am a raw foodist. I have never been healthier. People need to understand, this is a mental illness - it does not have anything to do with the food -- the food is not making them sick --its their psychological issues - they dont eat enough -- RAW FOOD FOREVER!! WHOLE ORGANIC FOODS FOREVER !! DOWN WITH MANSANTO!!!

  • Love how this guy is worried about ingesting poisons from dirt but thinks nothing of filling his body with metal via his tattoo obsession...

  • First world problems.

  • Please just eat something. Our bodies are made to digest and absorb nutrients from most any types of foods. This is a perfect example of how we complicate the simplest of basic things . Its a wake up call for all americans. common sense should lead your choices. In the end , regardless of how good we take care of ourselves, we are all going to die someday, and we have no idea how or when. Enjoy, its later than you think.

  • "This is the downfall of America!"

*shows off a macaroni and cheese box*

  • there is a good middle way just some people can't believe there is no better than they archived ,they want something more different to make them special, it's a kind of race or competition of ideas. fact Charlotte looks way younger and better than anyone i ever seen after 3 chilren...

  • That interviewer can suck it. At least this guy is attempting to be healthy. He's skinny because he simply isn't eating enough.

  • JunkFoodRexia or ToxicPharmaceuticalRexia or HormoneAndAntibioticRexia would be a lot more credible than this garbage. Stossel's brother is an M.D.

  • People need to be more aware of the 'factory' foods and animal products are not meant for human consumption, the body is not designed to digest them and therefore casuse disease, acne, skin problems, headaches and worse. The examples of the people on here are poor examples (one of whom IS anorexic) of raw vegans, there are plenty of people out there who achieve maximum health and do it properly. It is a problem when people critisise others for taking a different approach,

  • @TheStripeyteacups I couldn't agree with you more. You're 1000% correct

  • What a load of propaganda! I wonder how much the processed food industry paid for this. And see how they show a very skinny looking guy to describe orthorexia. I know many people who are "Orthorexic" and they are healthy physically, mentally and spiritually and lead a much more stable life than the "normal" people who eat processed food. Since when did eating normal food became a disorder and eating processed food a normal thing?

  • Yes, all the big bad food companies are out to get you. They are trying to get you fat. It's not like Occam's razor is true, and society has just drifted to the point where heavily processed foods are the norm. My god, you people are paranoid. No different than Christian fundamentalists. You have to imagine something threatening you to make your pathetic, sad, little lives more meaningful. This goes for all those NWO retards too.

  • this is funny. these people just have ocd and other issues.

eating natural and like a cavemen is fine!

  • Complete BS.

  • This disorder has to do with the mind, not the food. I believe it's called compulsive disorder, what's with the fancy new word "orthorexic", gimmie a break, just another way for the corporation to get more money.

  • Sounds like that guy needs a shot of testosterone.

  • fruits are good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! good sugar,

  • So they find one dude who has taken it to the extreme to represent all people who choose to eat healthy? I used to eat junk and had pretty bad acne. It wasn't until I cut out all the processed food and started eating organic that I was able to cure my acne. However I also eat organic chicken and eggs and not just veggies. We were not meant to eat processed foods with preservatives and pesticides. That's why people die off cancer and heart disease.

  • Lots of tricky editing here.

  • I love how everytime he tries to elaborate they mute down his mic and the ABC reporter gets to talk over him.

  • Sometimes I get OCD about not buying products encased in plastic or sent from the other side of the world. Why? The food system is fucked that's why.

  • Cook food too much and it sucks, it's not good for you. Yes meat does have "fear", though it is more about the chemistry of the animals blood prior to and during slaughter.

Reporter keeps interrupting the man before he can elaborate.

    PROPAGANDA

  • Sugar in fruit is not harmful.

  • No one thinks the lack of nutrition, obesity, so on is a disorder? Righteous eating, religion, so on to mock it. It is OCD, duh. Guess what? If people not only ate right but chose properly with their dollar and enough info on the produce, the food system would be better. Food is everything. it determines everything in a society, in a civilization.

    That guy is weird.

  • Stupid! This word just puts people in fear and stress. It's unhealthy; A healthy mind is a healthy body.

  • I wonder if CPS has investigated the mom for not feeding her kids enough. I hope for their sake she isn't starving them or at least that they have a father that makes sure they are fed. She didn't look so sickly but the guy sure did.. HOW is he SO WORRIED about what he eats when he has all those damn holes in his face?

  • @kimberlyalverez maybe CPS should take her kids away so they can be raped and given an STD in a foster home...

  • @101101101777 wow you have issues, Why would you say that? Maybe you don't know this but CPS doing an investigation doesn't mean they take the kids away, More often than not they offer counseling and classes to be a better parent. Not that your reply was worth the time it took me to comment it.

  • Fear of the animal = stress hormones. I don't think that idea to be ridiculous.

  • I gotta call this presentation out on one thing though: On the issue of not eating meat because you are actually eating the animals "fear" (which the presenter mocked as being ridiculous): Any Butcher will tell that meat which was slaughtered while the animal was in fear for it's life is "tougher", and takes on a different color, than meat from an animal which was slaughtered quickly and humanely. An animal killed in fear and panic also release toxins into it's flesh as well. Just saying...

  • "It's losing it's life force: it's dying"

How very sad... and he has no idea that these words actually apply to himself.

  • ppl should make a more simple rule, if you go to eat a burger, ask yourself if you ate in the last 4 days...if the answer is no then eat away!!!

  • fucking creepy freak @3:32

  • What the fuck, how can anybody call this "healty" ?

I understand that someone is fat but this, this is crazy..

  • I love how Johnny is terrified to eat anything bad for his body, yet he is wasting away and his body probably doesnt have the resources to fight an infection caused by the metal in his face! lol

  • that dude is unhealthy cause he's eating... fruit, mushrooms, and hemp seeds, which are all ACIDIC... like acid foods acidifying his bones and body. i'm kind of doing the same thing... orthorexic, except for leafarian... but i feel good as fuck, haha. i'm dancing and havin' a good time. i can almost do a backflip, like a monkey, haha.

  • @JackDeSimone - Yup, on these strict vegan diets, for the first year or so, you will feel awesome (due to the cleansing effect of said diet)... but long term, once your body has used up its store of nutrients, you will start to feel weary and your health will suffer (especially your stamina); and this will get worse and worse, unless you incorporate at least a moderate amount of animal products back into your diet.

It's all about balance. Food is a means to an end, it is not an end in itself

  • @TheColonelsKitchen If that was true our ancestors would have died long ago from only foraging and eating plants with no energy to hunt. There are vegan bodybuilders and athletes. One simply needs to pig out.

  • @TheColonelsKitchen

thats not true, there are many raw vegans that have done the raw vegan diet for 10 to 20 years and are still in great health. You don't have to have animal products in your diet in order to be healthy.

  • I'm worried that I have this, I became a vegetarian now I eat exclusively organic and natural foods, I have candy cravings but am soo afraid to eat a snickers or anything with corn syrup, EDTA, red 40...etc.. I feel like when I eat these things they are harming my body

  • @Miikaika25 The Problem in the USA is Monsanto and Cargill in the GMO industry is causing the Obesity epidemic.

  • @Miikaika25 Yes that's the truth they harm your body!I used to eat a lot of chocolate and sweets and all this process food. Now i haven't eaten those for about a year and i feel great. i really don't miss them or desire them !l! I don't eat organic though because where i live all fruits and veges are grown from local farmers and they're really fresh! My diet contains fruits, veges, milk, honey, tahini(that's fabulous for you who are vegetarian)meat(not much)brown bread, eggs etc.But never junk food!

  • @Miikaika25 That stuff DOES harm your body. The point is to not be obsessive with it :) but to, in general, eat quality food as you live your normal everyday life. I try to eat exclusively natural foods too but that's because I feel better when I do, and it's only about as much a part of my life as food is to anyone else. No worries!

  • @Miikaika25 try eating organic candy they sell it at wholefoods

  • @Miikaika25 I agree with matthewtron... these people have other issues, and they happen to be focussing their obsessiveness on food. Healthy eating itself is a very good thing. I feel I have eaten mindlessly (and unhealthily) most of my life and now I am not--it feels natural and easy. One thing that helped me was the idea that making some foods "forbidden" creates cravings. I read "women food and god" and following its basic recommendations. You might want to look into it.

  • @Miikaika25 ohhh but dont't eat snickers..how about some nuts with honey??very sweet , very delicious..and healthy too, i think:))im not radical healthy-fooder, but all those candy-bars stuffed with sugar and syrup are shit..

  • @Miikaika25 you dont have a problem with doing this!! check out liferegenerator, rawbrahs here on youtube.

  • @Miikaika25 It is not what you eat it is if you feel it is becoming an obsession. You can eat helthy but not being obssesed. And you can be obssesed with food and not eat healthy.

  • @Miikaika25 They are harming your body. If you have cravings, you are not eating enough calories. You need at least 2500 calories a day, preferably from carbs so you don't deplete your glycogen.

  • @Miikaika25 Your body will be harmed. Cold wind, bruises, cuts, bug bites, sore muscles from physical activity, chemicals from food - harm happens. Don't be afraid of minor harm to your body. The human body is equipped to heal itself.

Some people seem to think there are only 2 options: be morbidly obese, or be a health fanatic. There are millions of people between those extremes, living happy & healthy lives.

  • Hippies

  • main problem said at the end: "I don't wanna die." accept that you will die and move on.

  • Total propaganda.

  • I agree that the way the video is set up it can seem as though it's "propaganda"... Yeah, did I already have some kinda eating disorder? Yes, well, I was a "food addict", I overate, as far as I was concerned. It can have to do with upbringing. I read these natural food books as a way of helping my migraines, I'm a straight "A" student so I followed this stuff to the letter. I believe that some of the authors of these books have very extreme thinking. I listened, I almost died, I was 76 lbs

  • The guy is also bolemic and anaerixic, a point they never make

  • @darkchocolate100 it's spelled anorexic and bulimic, but yeah

  • fruits and beans - too much carbs? haha

    +no protein +no fat

i get their idea. they should probably stop eating for good. 0 chances of ingesting toxins.

  • You can tell a lot about a person by their priorities.

  • I wanted to be this super organic person.. now that I see this I realize you need to just enjoy life.. try to eat mostly healthy.. and enjoy good yummy food! :)

  • what this doesn't portray very well is that orthorexia isn't just eating healthy food all the time. it's the HAVING to always eat certain foods, its the obsession. im orthorexic and i have panic attacks around alot of so called "foods" because im afraid that i'll end up getting chemicals on my hands and injesting them somehow. yes im raw vegan, but that isnt the point, raw foods in themselves are not an unhealthy thing.

  • Mmmmm fear. Human fear is the best. That's why I am a cannibal.

  • Most people I know who are obsessed with eating healthfully look positively horrid. This dude is no exception.

  • I am happy, they're making people more aware of orthorexia. It's hard getting treatment, because it's so "new".

  • If more approached food from a holistic point of view, we'd all be healthier-mentally, emotionally, and physically. I am 90% vegan, 50% raw. But- I do not believe that if I had a slice of pizza, it would be bad. I am nourishing myself in a different way to allow for things like that. Or a friend's cooked dinner-which adds to my need for community. Our bodies are strong and wise, making up for "mistakes" made in eating. Have trust, compassion & permission. All or nothing thinking increases pain.

  • Loosing its life force? Someone's gon bye bye.

  • @liquidgee13 i think your losing you life fore-to the guy thats orthereic and homo

  • Lol, and the way they show that eating more meat and cooking more things is good.

  • This definitely does put raw foodism in a bad light. They only show the footage of him saying "viva raw revolution" and they get all caught up on terms like "life force" and "eating the animal's fear". I hate when news stories do this. It's because normal people like to justify their unhealthy habits. I'm not openly promoting raw foodism, but this is ridiculous.

  • The delusion that fruits and vegetables can help your health? Eat vegetables and fruits and you will have a better body and mind.

  • "The delusion that every aspect of our health...can be controlled by the quality of our food." The delusion? Wow! if you eat fruits and vegetables you will be healthy. And healthy foods don't just help your body it helps your mind.

  • We live longer because of medical improvements, not because of meat consumption. We're able to now survive body complications from eating a poor diet. As many people here have said, the length of life increasing doesn't mean the quality of life does the same. Whoever made this special managed to fuck up the point of the story completely. It SHOULD be about people and their mental struggles involving food, not to criticize people with diets different from a traditional American way of eating.

  • Having these people as the representatives of raw food lifestyle is about as responsible and appropriate as making Karen Carpenter a spokeswoman for sensible weight loss - i have yet to meet a raw foodist who fears and avoids natural sugars, carbs and fats. Most raw foodists are into HEALTH GAIN, and weight loss is just a natural byproduct. The man featured in this video has a youtube name "MyOwnStickFigure" and proudly flaunts his body for adoring 12yo girls - is this in any way normal?

  • JOHNNY!!!!! : )

  • Those people obviously have other issues. Being concerned about what you eat is NOT a mental illness. If you don't eat the processed crap then you're probably ill? This is propaganda!

  • Every raw foodist I've ever seen has looked like total dog shit. All this is just silly hippie bullshit. Same with the whole vegan and organic crap.

  • There is no meat or fat in his diet.....how is he eating healthfully.

    I wouldn't eat processed crap,sugar, breads etc.

their problem is psycological and their belief in raw veganism, althoug sincere, is dangerously misplaced. this is really sad......

  • God sake, eat a cheeseburger man!

  • These people all have problems above their "diets". Its possible to eat healthy and not kill yourself like these people are! Research!

  • OMG what a bizarre individual

  • So now I'm coined to have a mental disorder because I choose to eat healthy. LOL, talk about a sick-in-the-head mentality that this country has adopted. I bet they'll invent just about anything to try to get you pills.
