Woah... Then I guess it's quite far into heavy modifications if they really strapped two engines together in this. How on earth did they do this? You can't just put chains between crankshafts without some very complicated gearing, after all the cranks can't even come close due to the whole block being in the way... And you can't invert one beneath the other... oiling won't work. I'd die to see the hood of that thing open.
As someone else said its got a vr6 turbo under the bonnet one in the boot making it awd .1 engine for each pair of wheels. Arrives at shows on a trailer (ive seen it a few times) maybe because the engine set up is not road legal. M .O. T that bastard and what tax would you pay ha ha.
And the gauges are necessary, I bet 3 of them ar engine temperature, front and back of head and 1 for cylinders, you'll need 1 for each turbo temperature, and then 1 for boost, oil pressure, fuel pressure, air/fuel ratio, and there's much more you can fit. The clock is also a must-have, of course.
You can't have two engines... How are you gonna tie them together? You need perfect synchron between them. Possible with electric motors, but not with internal combustion engines. Do not come back with " The Veyron has two " It's a W with a chain connecting the two crankshafts, so it's not the same at all. It's a twin TURBO, not a twin engine.
i'm assuming w/ 2 vr6 engines that would make it awd? truly bad ass. what about a quad turbo setup? if a twin turbo for one vr6 can make 4-500hp, wouldn't that make it 800-1000hp w/ the engines?
that turbo sound makes me so horny ! ! !

wrong. volkswagen has a dual-vr6 engine, they literally welded 2 2000 vr6 engines together
ilikebeer 2 years ago
wrong, you fail to even bother googling it before you speak. Truly ignorant...
a2vr6t 2 years ago
God ALEX your so ignorant, its a dual VR6 (front/rear) both have a single turbo.
Search the net, not hard. May teach you to learn to research before you open your inexperienced mouth!

I know this car it's made by Dubsport UK.
they specialize in twin engine conversions for VW's.
it is actually a MK3 VW golf with twin VR6 turbo engines. which means no backseat and a very noisy interior.

u only have 2 turbos
why so many gauges?
probably clocks set for different times all around the world
N0sPr4Yu 3 years ago
uh because there are two engines. Count how many you need for just one including extra gauges like boost and oil pressure, then multiply that by 2.

how do u figure it has two motors fuckface
