As for Sindri's motives; he was patriotic to the legion's standards by hiring another legion to become sacrifices. Why he would bother doing that is the real question

The Chaos Space Marine Legions probably still have several thousand marines left. Even the legions that got depleted like the Black Legion can always call up Fabius Bile and get him to clone/mutate/graft with painful intra/extravenous surgeries some new ones
I think Carron's backstory would have made more sense if he became a Sorcerer, but that would mean changing the hero unit, and that's a little too much effort for the creators of Soulstorm.

Why does Relic keep using Alpha Legion as the Chaos legion in Dawn of War? They are still loyal to the Emperor. Everything they have ever done is for the Emperor.
The Dawn of War 2 Heretics are, in my opinion and many others, far better than the Cultists of the first game. But I'll never forget their pitiful, annoying screams.
@hutchy1k94 Actually the Eldar won in Winter Assault. Gorgutz killed Sturnn and Crull and Alexander in Dark Crusade was originally after Taldeer for her actions on Lorn V. Aside from that all the others are right.

Soulstorm: Imperial Guard (You need to check this one but it's certainly not the Blood Ravens becasue you get an Iron Halo that Boreale was going to get upon his victory)

I thought the Guard won Soulstorm, I heard in Dawn of War 2 Cyrus talking about how the Guardsmen were allies and that it was pointless to fight them, which makes it sound like the guard won. He would have added something about chaos if they won.
@NiNjAcHiCkEn101 Dawn of War 2 stated that the Space marines never won the Kaurva Campaign. It never stated who the victors were. Relic declared that the Imperial Guards won the Kaurava Campaign. In Winter Assault, there was no solid ending. It was a mixture of the the Ork/Eldar ending. Lord Crull was killed by Gorgutz, but the Necron threat was defeated by Farseer Taldeer and imperial Guard forces. taldeer was alive and Lord Crull's skull could be collected by Eliphas the Inheritor if he wins.

I only like this guy for 2 reasons.

The Chaos Space Marine Legions probably still have several thousand marines left. Even the legions that got depleted like the Black Legion can always call up Fabius Bile and get him to clone/mutate/graft with painful intra/extravenous surgeries some new ones

I think Carron's backstory would have made more sense if he became a Sorcerer, but that would mean changing the hero unit, and that's a little too much effort for the creators of Soulstorm.

@Jpipooly Its possible, have you read Legion? If thats cannon, which I think it is/should be, then the Alpha Legion could still be loyal...weather they now see as one of their primarchs are dead is another question. Legion anwsers alot. suggested read :D

Why does Relic keep using Alpha Legion as the Chaos legion in Dawn of War? They are still loyal to the Emperor. Everything they have ever done is for the Emperor.

Not sure, the game was poorly made. But the endings for each race was amazing for everyone I must say...Guardsmen though the best.

@hutchy1k94 Actually the Eldar won in Winter Assault. Gorgutz killed Sturnn and Crull and Alexander in Dark Crusade was originally after Taldeer for her actions on Lorn V. Aside from that all the others are right.

Winter Assault: Eldar (Gorgutz survives, Crull is killed by Gorgutz and Sturnn dies when the Titan explodes. Check out IG defeat ledar epilogue and Chaos defeat Orks epilogue for more details)
Dark Crusade: Blood Ravens (according to DoW2)
Soulstorm: Imperial Guard (You need to check this one but it's certainly not the Blood Ravens becasue you get an Iron Halo that Boreale was going to get upon his victory)

I thought the Guard won Soulstorm, I heard in Dawn of War 2 Cyrus talking about how the Guardsmen were allies and that it was pointless to fight them, which makes it sound like the guard won. He would have added something about chaos if they won.

@NiNjAcHiCkEn101 Dawn of War 2 stated that the Space marines never won the Kaurva Campaign. It never stated who the victors were. Relic declared that the Imperial Guards won the Kaurava Campaign. In Winter Assault, there was no solid ending. It was a mixture of the the Ork/Eldar ending. Lord Crull was killed by Gorgutz, but the Necron threat was defeated by Farseer Taldeer and imperial Guard forces. taldeer was alive and Lord Crull's skull could be collected by Eliphas the Inheritor if he wins.
