@Doctor72 the bass player is Brian Ray, the guitar player is Rusty Anderson, at the keyboards there's a old companion of Macca, David Arch and filnally the big drummer is Abe Laboriel jr.
this was an amazing historical and social event in russia. the beatles were strongly in the conscience of the people there during the cold war years where the music was available at times on the black market in 60s-80s until perestroika.
Most people get deterred by his lack of several phenomenal albums and individual songs during his solo career, as well as throughout his Wings career. However, because of this, many of those same people also miss out on many wonderful gems. Normally I enjoy listening to 3-5 songs on each solo album just for easy listening, or whatnot. However, I can enjoy more if I'm in the mood to go on a journey with Sir Paul :)
The Russians are cool Europeans and they always have been. It's only Shylock American imperialists who have tried to make us all hate them for their own profits.
@mccpauline nooo... man you are so wrong !! its a nice song.... but remember about... Live and let die...... Wild Life.....Letting go....Maybe im amazed !!!
This is was the song the Beatles were going to re-unite and record but John

Maybe I'm alone in this, but I think a lot of McCartney's solo music is just as good as The Beatles.

Paul McCartney in Red Square, Moscow.
Completely surreal for those of us who remember the cold war years. Worth watching.
