I took special pains to see Zappa on tour in 1973 or '74, at the Capitol Center sports arena, a hockey rink, outside of DC to the east -- and the sound was so muddy and echoing that the music couldn't be heard above the noise - a great disappointment, and it put me off Zappa for a long while - but now I can hear what I was missing back then, it's excellent actually :)

Yeah "Level 19" is the hardest to get past (extreme music ability, theory, and agility), like Steve Howe, Yngwie M., W.
