  • i have D7000 nikon and i like to take some pics of the sky , shuld i get an ed glass telescope for best photos ??

  • thank you

  • whats the easiest means of myself as a wheelchair user (unable to stand at all) to have full enjoyment of astronmy ie a scope thats as easy to use as possible?

  • @MrDiamonds01 8" (200mm) Dobsonian if you can maintain it, eitherwise any good refractor goto.

  • Great Video

  • Aperture 60mm Lens Focal Length 700mm Focal Ratio f/11.7 Eyepieces 1) 4mm, 2) 12.5mm, 3) 20mm Erecting Eyepiece Yes Finderscope 5x24 Stand Aluminum Tripod Mount Altazimuth Metal Mount Lens Achromat Doublet Magnification 1) 35x, 2) 56x 3) 175x Barlow 3x Resolution 1.9 Arc Seconds Visibility Can see 10.9 †Magnitude star Weight: 5 kg these r d specs of my tele. is dat a gud one??
  • @nehal0001 you should try to get a refractor between 80mm to 100mm of aperture......the 4mm eyepiece would give you a 175x magnification which to me is a lot for that scope...my advise is try to avoid it and get a 4.5 to 8 reflector or a 80mm to 100mm refractor... and buy a well known brand like orion celestron or meade

  • @animedrawer84 thanx for d advise but now i hav purchased dat telescope and quite happy wid dat

  • @nehal0001 no prob...i'm glad you are having fun with that scope

  • Great Video.

  • Good advice. No collimation (mirror alignment) issues to deal with with a refractor, it stays put. With a dodsonian, the mirrors will eventually need re-alignment and that is a big stumbling block for a beginner. Anyone who has ever tried to explain the alignment procedure knows this. The refractor he is showing is a high end model, there are really good less expensive ones available. Before you buy any telescope/mount make sure you do a lot of research on which best matches what you want.

  • Bad advice. Its better to start with a moderately sized dobsonian. Say 6" for a beginner. They are still very manageable.

  • Sounded like reasonable advice for beginners to me, which part did you think was half-true, Spaceisneat?

  • who is this guy? The information he provides is not even half true at times...

  • By "plastic" eyepieces, do you mean plastic lenses?

    Just a clarifying question
