The laugh was on my old tapes that I recorded from "The Dr. Demento Show" as well I always thought it was the song B4 this one that Dr. Demento played. I kind of like it that way.

The creepy laugh is actually the fadeout from the Tadpoles album's previous track, a cover of the Bobby "Boris" Pickett song "Monster Mash." The original single and various artists compilation do not have the laugh.
