I know Phil and Amy well, 'cause not only is he my neighbor, but my current golf instructor coached Phil while he was in High school, and I have hung out with Phil and Amy a lot over the years and they both are very intelligent people, and very generous and caring, when my irons were stolen about a year ago around the time of my 20th birthday (bummer I know), Phil got me a set of brand mew X-22 Tour irons for my birthday, but besides that, they are a major part in making golf where it is now
Both Mickelson and Tiger have done amazing things to better todays society through their charitable organizations and foundations. If you deny this fact you are either lost and confused yourself or you are intentionally ignorant of the truth.
Name one other golfer that has used his fame and fortune to better not only the sport of golf, but society, awareness, humanity, and family. If someone says Tiger, they're lost and confused. Phil should be recognized as sportsman of the year at some point in his career.
Mr. Mikelson. You are the man! I have so much admiration and respect for you. You will always be my favorite golfer out there. More than winning on the golf course, you have won the love and respect of people. Thank you for what you have done for this fan.
I am very impressed by this presentation, and I AM an educator. However, I am not impressed by some of the comments that appear here and wonder why some folks need to be so mean and nasty.
You're a true idiot. You know nothing about this guy and you shouldn't judge anything you are unsure of. Golf makes people happy, so why would golf be a waste of time? And he needs school to back him up down the road when he doesn't want to play golf anymore.
@JR08620 seriously if u say that about the sport golf y dont we get rid of football, soccer, basketball. cuz im sure Kobe Bryant + all of the guys on the laker team combined make more than him.
An seriously stfu America is screwed because of greedy companies making 500 million dollars + a year not by athletes =.=
haha... OK dude.. his gambling and love for In and Out is notorious.. you need to get a dose of reality.. by the way, Phil is my favorite golfer.. you must not know much about him.. you probably don't even play golf..
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Phil is not this smart - he is reading it off of a teleprompter. I'm SURE he spends a lot of time at museums after a day on the course. He's at In and Out and the casino..
It is a known fact that Phil frequents casinos and In and Out. You never heard about his famous bet on the Arizona Diamondbacks? Maybe I should have said Waffle House, haha. Bring your sticks buddy and I'll knock it stiff on you.
well spoken SOB!

to all the mickelson haters out there,
screw off, seriously
all uguys are just jealous that he is intelligent, a top 10 best golfer of all time, and that he has a beautiful wife with all the money in the world
mickelson is one of the rare classy guys out there
he gives money and time to people who need
and is a family man
unlike the revered tiger woods
haha

His point is what? He and his holy roller wife throw a couple crumbs to the lower half of society.
Golf is a waste of time and money.
How can any company justify this waste and on the same breath eliminate jobs?
If they took all the money handled to guys like Woods, Mickelson, etc. and spent it wisely, America would be better off.
Education?
You do not need school to be a golfer.
What a laugh!
This guy does not give a shit about this.
