  • This is a good song, I particularly enjoy the sort of arabic sound is has to it. A group called Rapalje performed it as Wat Zullen We Drinken, sort of an Irish drinking song. This is a great performance but it's VERY weird to imagine Candace doing much drinking much less fighting.

  • @afossymo1 To Each His Own!

  • Did Ritchie Blackmore fall and hit his head or something?

  • @WhippJunior Get with the program, man. This is some of the best music the Blackmore has ever put out.

  • Excellent !!!

    Thanks.

  • Original is better for me as well as the folk cover but then again I'm dutch so I can understand it. This is a good cover though, a bit too much electric music for my taste which doesn't fit the song or Blackmore's Night.

  • hymn IRA by the way

  • After all that Ritchie Blackmore had done for rock and roll, his fans do not seem to appreciate him. I have seen so many rude comments and personal insults posted by his "fans". A true fan grows with the musician, or perhaps you guys stopped growing back in the 1980s. Ritchie did not.

  • hola soi manuel fernandez no te conosco pero si te gusta BLACMORE soi tu amigo para mi siempre ha sido mi maestro MIRA EN YOU TUBE MI TRABAJO HOMBRES PODEROSOS DE MANUEL FERNANDEZ ESPERO QUE TE GUSTE un saludo

  • part of this could aswell be a Rainbow song :))

  • is Orgrinial song is "Sieben tage" ? or is this a song who has the same song text ?

  • if i have one wish to make , i would ask to live with these people :)

  • ritchie still rocks, from 6:52 to the end of the song :)

  • Начало такое, что я думал сейчас Антонов запоёт :-)

  • Who the hell taped this? I cant hear anything!!!

  • THX für den Upload. Great Song. Good singer.

  • The final section of Schiarazula Marazulla with multiple pipes, hurdy gurdy and Ritchie's power chords fucking ROCKS!!! God bless you Mr. Blackmore!

  • Can anyone tell me what instrument Candice Night plays in this song?

  • its a tambourine

  • That would be "Gusli" , may be they have other name for it in England, but in Ukraine they are called Gusli, "Guslar" storyteller.

  • zurna

  • its 'ZURNA' from Turkish and Arabic culture...

  • Candice is playing a Shawm, its like a recorder/penny whistle. a medieval instrument.

And yes, she plays tabmorine also :)

  • @mickblizz in english, this keltic instrument seems to be called bombarde as it is in french. A very loud trebly instrument that can rival an amplified electric guitar...

  • No idea what it´s in English - in German it´s called a Schalmei - and applause to Candice, it´s not the easiest instrument to play.

  • the volume is too low....

  • Was woll'n wir trinken, sieben Tage lang... ;-)

In how many countries/languages does that song exist ?

  • And if we fall, we'll fall together... not alone... Yeah - that is Blackmore's Night ;) All for one and one for all :)

  • The interlude played by Candice is Schiarazula Marazula, an old italian song, so it seems this song draws on quite a few inspirations and is not a cover of the Son ar Chistr

  • This line up is my fave from BN!

  • the real title of this song is Son ar Chistr, it comes from Brittany (west of France) it's about cider's drinking. You can listen to Alan Stivell version if you type Son ar Chistr...

  • completely different version / language. I like the BN's re-arranged version, one of my fave's from BN so its nice to know where the original inspiration came from. One of many blackmorized tunes!

  • Candice is HOT!!!!!

  • personally i couldn't see kirk hammet doing this or even yngwie malmsteen for that matter. fuck.

  • And the elves thank him on their bare knees that he made the switch.

    Its great!

  • i cant hear the song right.. i guess something went wrong while recording this video ? =)

  • Goblins and Elves? Hardly.. Ritchie's OWN preference! He didn't like the way the music of Deep Purple was going, and likewise with Rainbow. quick update to those who missed the announcement back in October. Ritchie & Candice are now Husband & Wife.

  • hum when ejoyed when he was with purple but he always wanted a heavier sound , then he achieved that with the hard rock band RAINBOW with Dio;and he liked, but then he wanted go with mainstream and changed the direction to AOR then when he returned with purple made AOR and hard rock, when he left again becouse fights in the band he started to see closely this kind of music with RAINBOW again, then focused on it with his wife.He has changed his preferences many times and he have enjoyed each period

  • A nice piece! Enjoy the Irish pipes at the end! Very E.U. (olden) sound.

  • so silent

    but still great :)

  • She plays SCHIARAZULA MARAZULA!!!! Fantastic!

  • its epic for me

  • we drink together!

and when we drink, we'll drink together not alone !!!

  • Ev sistr 'ta Laou, rak sistr zo mat, loñla

Ev sistr 'ta Laou, rak sistr zo mat

  • super song

  • i cant imagin Blackmores Night without the Sissters of the moon they seem to be groun to be part of it

  • its a great song, cause of her voice an the greatest guitar plyer to ever live too.

  • the original song is a dutch song: 'zeven dagen lang' - Bots. If you can understand it, you realise that this version is worse.

  • yes, the original version is good, but the blackmore's night are better. I PREFER THE BLACMORE'S NIGHT

  • @minagemn22 Who is the performer of original?

  • I know the version of Bots, and i,m Dutch myself.

Buti don't think that this is compareble with the Blackmore's Night version.

He sort of reinfented the song, and it sounds cool to me :) .

BTW have you heard the new version of Bots feat. Ali B of this song, now that's terrible.

  • I know the original I'm dutch myself just like you I guess bit I think they're doing great. dus lul niet (that was dutch)

  • the original version isnt by Bots.

this song is really old.. and Irish drinking song created in medievel times...

  • I'm sorry, I figured out myself that I was wrong. I'm sorry

  • The music, in between, is a rework of the Maltese Brawl, The Cobbler's Jig. and the Lyric parts are slight reworks of the same music.

  • I would also imagine this version was Inspired by the Bots version. But the original music, goes further back.

  • I just love the way Ritchie slide those cool licks in there. The worlds greatest guitarist with the best tone ever. I think it's cool he is finally doing music that makes him happy!

  • There are not too many "rock" tunes where you can bring in the bagpipes, but this is one of them. Anyone know who the 2 musicians were that came in on the finale? And whan insturment was that other guy playing.

    Well anyway it rocks!!

  • Des Geyers

  • Bravo !

    j'adore!

  • Ritchie, you are a Guitar God!! and i love you! amazing song!

  • great song... Happy Holidays to you all!

  • The hottest singer ever existed!!!!! God bless you Candice!!! actually god bless your parents!!! ;)

  • sorry sebastian das find ich mal richtig scheiße ich hoffe du bist nicht sauer wenn du das video mal siehst^^

  • Would you please be kind enough to wash your ears ...

  • When you have mastered an instrument you are entitled to be called 'maestro'. Through the music of Blackmores Night Ritchie shows how much such a title is deserved. He really is a true virtuoso and how I just wish I had one millionth of his ability.

  • @SLZW yes he is a Maestro.

  • I think Richi plays the guitar in the same style like ex Garry Moore and Erik Clapton do.

  • Just because you do not like it, does not mean it is crap.

I think it shows some real imagination, and Ritchies playing is superb.

  • Crap music? I don't think so. I love their music, and I don't think anyone in that group is a fool. They are all very talented hardworking people. Just because it isn't speed metal rock doesn't make it crap. I like Blackmores Night and Rob Zombie, Metallica and Enya, Yanni and Linkin Park, and Nickleback. Try a bit of variety.

  • Quite possibly one of the stupidest comments I have heard.

  • Just because something isn't rock doesn't mean its crap. I think this is better than anything he's done with Deep Purple or Rainbow.

  • Hey, you are entitled to your opinion. However, although it's not PC to vote on what kind of music is best, I really think I'd get the majority of the votes in the real world. Amongst the guys making comments about a BN vid on youtube, you'll probably get the majority. So live and let live, huh? You'll listen to this ... music, and I'll listen to Made in Japan. Anyway, the point I was trying to make, was just that I was happy for old Ritchie (on his luck in the marriage department).

  • You'll either love or hate this. I personally love it (as well as Purple and Rainbow). I love the fantasy element of it all. It reminds me of reading a good fantasy novel, you know? Call it the music of escapism. My issue here is why would you bother commenting on it and being insulting to the artists by calling them crap. I can't really stand

  • Seldom (or never) has folk music witnessed such an accomplished group of devoted musicians and singer stretching its horizons from centuries past to the present (and beyond). This band is timeless...one for the ages.

  • Is anyone else seeing The Three Musketeers in all this?

  • Ritchie has that magic to bring out the acoustic alchemy in every musician he works with, can u hear that bassist, incredible.... and the beat goes on in the tradition of the maestro... we'll drink to that!!

  • absolutely superb... hope that richie plays this tune in Chicago at house of blues... yowza...

  • anyway, i like it

  • This song is an interpretation of a traditional folk song from Brittany just as 'zeven dagen lang'

    source: secondhandsongs. com

  • I'm not really sure, but i think this song is a cover of a dutch song called 'zeven dagen lang' written by Hans Sanders is it not?

  • O Brasil curte Blackmore's Night - All For One

  • Great song, I love the pipes and all the instruments, Ritchies guitar is awesome and the voice of Candice too!

  • Great song, love the lyrics, seeing it performed live brings the song to life.

  • nice! thnxx!!

  • Bit of John Lord hammond organ and Ian Gillan wails and this could be a good hard rock song!

  • I love this song.

    A bit quiet though.

    Still a good song.
