Michael Moore should be more objective with his work; it'd give it more credibility. I watched 'Sicko' and I've got to say that he only uses the worst case scenarios so you've got to take what's said with a grain of salt. He doesn't show the bad of the other countries' health care systems so it's not showing all sides of the argument, therefore not very reliable as objective and informed material. Don't base your opinions on other people's; research the facts for yourself. :]

I was just talking about all the praise that Derrick has recieved. I'm not trying to use the pathetic excuse of an argument by saying "if he was white people wouldnt care." The point is that stereotypes and generalizations are real and help us to funciton.

If people are surprised of Derrick and his response, maybe its a reflection of the image the black community has fostered. In other words, if you are black, intelligent and articulate, you are looked at as a deviation of the norm.

Let me throw out a couple of topics that will effect you and your future. Social Security - in or out? 2 years Government service for money for college - in or out? Universal health care (be sure and read what all the candidates have planned carefully before you speak)? Ok looking forward to all the responses.
