@jobatribe No there is JR West ,JR East, New Shuttle, Enoshima Electric Rwy and Odakyu companies. Different coloured train for different lines. The companies do not use the same colours on every train.
Very well done video that you have made there. Gives an insight as to the scale of the rail transport sector in japan. So many lines, so many trains and they're all long! And so many liveries as well!
Obviously different liveries for different operators and different liveries for different routes with the same operator. Makes 'em easy to spot at a distance.
Japan seems to me as a paradise for all train lovers !
