Loved this video, as soon as you mentioned you are on YouTube I had to check it out. American college sounds and looks so much better than university in England. I forced myself to take all AP courses and I'm literally on the edge of failing! =( Second semester just began and I have so much coming up! My AP exams and my SAT second re-take! @FlippyMyFloppy you mean students that want to go to college in another country? well, I'd say all the tips still apply, except for 3, 4 and 5, since you wouldn't be able to easily travel to the college. And I'd add a tip: call up the school if possible, or email them, and try and find someone who is willing to talk to you in more detail about the college life there and answer all your questions :)

if i know what i want to major in but i no nothing of the basics and stuff ilke i want to major in advertising will they teach you the basics?

@virginiatechfanx yeah! that's what college is for. For freshman year, the advertising classes you take will most likely give you a really good taste of what the field is actually like. And so for you, you'd learn all you need to know in your advertising classes as the years progress. They wouldn't expect you to have that knowledge coming in :) atleast they shouldn't! haha

@virginiatechfanx haha, I didn't too well on the math part on the SAT, and I still got into the school I wanted. It really just depends on what you want to study. If you wanna study math in college then it would matter. But if you wanna do something completely different, you're probably ok :) good luck!

@lilcutebeth a major is an area of study that you like and choose to focus on during your years at college. When you graduate you get a degree in whatever your major once. For example, if someone's major is Mathematics, they study math all throughout college and when they graduate, their degree is in Mathematics. :) The essay I was talking about is the application essay. Most schools' applications require you to write a personal essay, saying why you wanna go there or what makes you unique, etc

@TheBlueMaire yes and no, haha. It's naturally curly NOW, because I got a spiral perm in January. But before that it was straight :) However it's definitely not uncommon or weird for siblings to have different textured or kinds of hair :)
