  • Great! =)

  • Hi, I just built one...( 80m) no qso's yet but a friend has received my signal about 7km away. Im a bit high up on the band , need to get a crystal closer to 3.5

My antenna is a Windom. 73' Grant.

  • Where can you get a schematic for this tx?

  • Your transmission isn't chirpy. It drifts on transmission peaks, but the tone seems pretty clear in my opinion.

  • I haven't made any contacts with this rig. I didn't really give it a good try though. A couple of friends across town did tell me they heard the signal so I'm sure it would work. The best I've ever done was a rockmite radio to rockmite from Northern California to near Seattle Washington. That was a thrill. Also had a guy about 70 miles away who heard me on a pixie II with his $12,000 ICOM.

  • Great little trx..:-) Why dont i have an x-tal ? Did you make any contacts with it..?

  • Nice rig! I watched this video today and it inspired me to root in my 'bits' box. An hour later and voila! Another Mite QRP transmitter!

    Appr0x 500milliwatts with a BFY50 NPN transister. unning on 40 meters

    Regards, Robs.

  • Nice video--my comment must have been filtered. Sounds like despite the instability of your oscillator, you've got a usable transmitter. And cute kids there to tell you so.
