I honestly don't remember at the moment what cone this clay was fired at, I was getting it fired at a place that's no longer open but I'm pretty sure it was cone 06...or 04 but I think 06
The size drill bits/ finger holes depend on the size of the ocarina and the voicing hole.
Basically, when you're tuning the ocarina you just have to go by the fundamental note. That means the first note the ocarina makes without any holes.
So from there, if it plays a C, then your first hole you make, start small and gradually increase the size of the hole, testing the note until it hits D. Just remember, make the hole small and slowly increase!

It's all a matter of getting everything you need at hand, instructions and have a full afternoon to fine tune it! If you guys are interested, just send me a messege and I'd love to help. OcarinaTycoon has a good tutorial too! That's where I learned!
Wow dude I'm seriously impressed! When you showed the end result of the Ocarina, it shocked me as to how nice it looks! Way to go! :D .. I wish I had that skill to be able to make one myself.

I think I surprised myself a little on this one, so like I said, I can only hope I keep doing it each time! honestly, & I'll be saying the same to ubizmo, I'm sure you guys could, just takes along time to get it just right :) The biggest thing to get started for me was finding all the materials and a place to get it fired. That's the first step! I'd love to see what you guys could come out with :D
