  • What CPU cooler were you using?

  • what i wanna know is how people get companies to send them free products for reviews?

  • @porshtstudios you could start by making high quality videos and actually reviewing stuff is half the battle.

  • @porshtstudios you need at least 5,000 subscribers.. then you contact companies and the'll put you on their reviewers list

  • are you using Cool n Quite?

  • I have a 500W power supply do you think that is enough to run this cpu or at least any of amd's phenom x6's??

  • @blitzkreig000 *phenom II x6's

  • @blitzkreig000 depends on the video card that you are running ,but as you can see @ stock clocks this cpu need 125 Watts :)

  • @HowDouWantitbg I want to run a radeon hd 6570 with the cpu will that be too much?

  • This CPU is just fine for gaming, especially when you running high (1080p and above) resolutions where you are typically GPU limited.

  • is 37142 good as measured by 3d mark2000 at 1080 32bit useing a 955 amd and nv 560ti win xp home a wimpy beast i may admit but does the bizz for me.

  • Is this good for gaming?

  • @jamesbond9011 betrapt gamer

  • @jamesbond9011 yeah it will do enouth but i recommended you get the i5 2500k for gaming

  • @jamesbond9011 yes its awesome for gaming. im yousing one my self

  • @jamesbond9011 he answered that in the video... you could've just watched it you know ;)

Anyways, thanks a lot for the review wizkid, :D

  • Will i be able to do the same degree of overclocking with a CM 212+ cooler?

  • Awesome cpu.Amd!AWESOME bang for the buck!!!

  • @MrDragonknight i've seen a friend using 1090t and he's not really happy with tempeatures. 1100t is a better processor because of the thermal success.

  • Should i buy this one or the ii x4 975 BE for gaming only? Answers are very appreciated :)

  • @Games4LifeSWE buy this one.

  • @Games4LifeSWE get the 1090t .. its not that expensive.. but the IIx4 975 does fine for games.. since its 4 cores, the 1090t is great speed and 6 cores..

i recommend the 1090t. but if you're budget tight, go for the IIx4 975 you can unlock the other cores with a good motherboard

  • @MrDragonknight94 The thing is that i want the very high.-end processor i can get for my MOBO (AM3) and currently, i think this is the very best for my MOBO.

  • @Games4LifeSWE

You should buy AMD Phenom II 1100T cause it can runs every application and gaming that you need. Bring game to the next level, also it's easy to overlock with low power consumtion and it cost is very friendly

  • Phenom X6 Black edition vs i5 2500K

    What wins?

  • @juanmanuel7712 In gaming, the i5 2500k. You can argue the i5 is better at everything but I'd say the Phenom x6 is better for video rendering and things of that nature. But, the i7 2600k is probably the best choice.

  • @awesomereece123 I will use the processor for gaming, modulation and video editing, but most games and editing videos, photos and music, will the i7 is the best in all that? I am content with vallan best games with the i7 with i5

  • @juanmanuel7712 Get the i7 2600k. It's cheaper than the i7 980x and 990x, works at a better performance most of the time. It isn't too expensive, it's a little more expensive than a bulldozer, not much. And it performs better than any other AMD/i5 processor by quite a bit.

  • did u use stock cooler??

  • what does overclocking do?

  • @mariofireballz9 Makes your processor/other part run at higher clock speeds.

  • @Fortune2point0

    Which makes it faster.

  • how i overclock i want to overclock to 4.0 but i dont want to do it cuz idk how to do it any tutorial or help of what i need to keep in mind?

  • finally a non biased reviewer

  • how did you get it to 4,08 ghz i only get it to 3,8 i have 1333 memory. do i have to adjust the voltage?

  • hey, i saw that the amd phenom x6 1100T can only run max 1333mhz memory. why do you use 2000mhz please let me know, cuz if i am wromg i would like to know!

  • i have AMD Phenom II X6 1100T for my processor and ATI Radeon 6870.

  • @moomoochamba same :)

  • @moomoochamba That's that same build I'm planning =P How do they perform together?

  • Cool!!!!

  • which one is better 1090t or 1100t?

  • @tezzya7 noob the 1100t but just for a little and overclocking the 1090t could be as 1100t black edition (= cheers

  • Witch is better for gaming, AMD Phenom II X6 1100T or Radeon HD6850 HDMI Dual-DVI 1GB?? Thanks for help!!!

  • @mastercalle Haha you fool one of those is a processor and the other is a graphics card...

  • @mastercalle The AMD Phenom II X6 1100T is a processor and the ATI Radeon HD 6850 is a graphics card, they are both needed. In fact i have both in my system and I love them, they work great.

  • @Soda126 Hah ... same here. Although I did get the 6850 from Sapphire ... better cooling .... makes for a shitload of power, though, a system like that can pretty much handle anything today ...

  • does someone know how this cost ???

  • still wondering 975 be oc to 4.0 vs 1100t oc to 3.8 i dont like going to far in my oc

  • Why is it 1.2V in power saving mode? Mine goes down to around 1 volt in power saving mode...

  • Please help what is this proscer eqvilint to in intel? like is this like the same speed as a i5?

  • @atom608 Nooooooo. If you look at benchmarks, etc., you'll see the i5 is much faster.

  • @SkildEnough It's not just about benchmarks though. Consistency is key.

  • did you get us enabled turbo core loading?

  • this is the most detailed review ive ever seen, good job.

  • exce3llent review! is there anywhere that I can get advice on the safest and best way to o/c my system based on the components? based on your reviews, you seem to have an excellent knowledge of amd products...thanks.. g/byte ga970-da , phenom II 1100T, RADEON 6770 (SAPPHIRE), 8 GB 1866 DDR3 (G-SKILL) , STORM SCOUT CASE, COOLERMASTER N520 sleeve cooler, coolermaster silent pro m700 80 plus bronze ,barracuda 1.5 tb 6.0 sata (my first build since an apple IIe in 1988) build day thursday 10/6

  • Would this CPU bottleneck nvidia 580 sli? And can it fit in an am3+ socket?

  • @SkildEnough it will fit in an am3+ socket. And no it will not bottleneck any video card on the market at this time!

  • @andy52709 don't use the ASUS M5A78L-M LX.

It don't supports the 1100T. It supports Cpu's up to 95W and the 1100 needs 125W.

    Source: Asus

  • would you recommend a 2500k or 1100t for gaming

  • @Axcoh I would go with the 1100T personally. you might want to pair it with a cpu liquid cooler, like an h50 or something. pair it with 4GB of DDR3 @1333mhz and an ASUS M5A78L-M LX. That's for more budget oriented, but if you wanna get the most out of a pc, go with a gigabyte ga-990xa-ud3 mobo, 8GB ddr3 @1866mhz, and a WD caviar black 7,200RPM SATA 6GB/s 1tb just to top it off. The PC is highly upgradeable, so as soon as the new am3+ socket CPU's are released you can upgrade.

  • will the 1100T work with the gigabyte motherboard M68M-S2P it supports AM2+/AM3 any help would be appreciated

  • @lumpz83 If it says it surpports AM3 then yeah, Just make sure you have the lastest Bios update.

  • che voce di merda che hai ragazzo...

  • Will this work with a DP45SG Intel motherboard? Are there compatibility issues with a Nvidia GeForce 9800GT?

  • @Orion00152 no, amd cpu's don't work with intel mobo's

    you need an am3 mobo

  • @Orion00152 if you have to ask questions like that i suggest you have someone else work on your pc, no offense. its just easy to make expensive mistakes.

  • Comment removed

  • love the chip, i'm using the phenom 2 x6 1090t. great cpu.

  • Should i get this to bumb up my system? I have 6870 and 4gb 1600mhz ram.

  • @wwefinfan Games these days don't require super amount of cores but maybe GHz. At this moment it's really all about your graphic card (No Bottlenecks) but if your a person who multi-task like me having many programs running, then go for 6 core but if you just a gamer or just let about 3-5 decend programs running, I would recommend a high GHz Quad core. That's my opinion.

  • @BloodlessSalvation Since gaming is the main thing i do with my pc, i think will get the i5 2500k. Its more than enough for my gaming needs.

  • @wwefinfan Go ahead. Intel makes amazing quad cores even though they high priced. But just letting you know, you don't need an extreme processor to run games smoothly. In my standards, a decent processor for PC gaming is usually Quad core 2.5 GHz or more. Soon for next generation when consoles hit there PS4 and new XBOX, 6 cores might be next standards but at this moment Quad is way to go. I would usually go for AMD in gaming since they work best with ATI Radeon graphics card.

  • @BloodlessSalvation i like to run alot of programs while playing my games soo i got a computer from hp with the 1100t 6 core =] with a 2gig geforce 530gt graphics card with 9 gigs of ram sounds good?

  • @MrRayman217 Sure :)

  • I have a 2 questions. 1. What is the program called at 2:13? 2. How do I utilize each core for multi-tasking?

  • thank you very much ^_^

  • Hi mates, I'm looking for a CPU to do my 3D rendering. Can you suggest me one? But please no those professionals with thousands of dollars. I'm looking something withing a range of 200-300 dollars. I currently have an AMD1055T but I need something stronger.

  • If i get this cpu, which mATX mobo should I get?

  • what setup should I get? keepin in mind I already have 1 hd 6870.

    phenom II x6 1100t, AM3+ 990fx motherboard, 8gb ddr3 1600mhz, a second 6870, 1tb hard drive, cd/dvd combo drive and windows 7

    or

i7 2600k z68 mobo, 8gb ram, same hard drive and cd drive as above and windows 7 just WITHOUT another 6870 ( ill just use the one I already have)

The reason for this question is they are both around the same price. which would you rather have? it will be used for hardcore gaming only.

  • @yakfizzle get the first option. Usually AMD cpu's work better with Radeon HD's, than Intel cpu's do.

  • @yakfizzle Going for hardcore gaming i would say the i7 but only if overclocking is a nobrainer for u!

Overclocking at the i7 2600k is just sick but you should get a cpu cooler so you can overclock to around 4.4 ghz ;)

  • i7 = rip of of the decade.

  • @PCWizKid so over clocking is increasing the voltage?

  • @bruceleeking1 No, you increase the voltage so it's more stable.

  • Hey i have the same Prossesor just got it yesterday, Can you help me overclock it to 4.1ghz as you did, maybe you could make a video if is not such a hasol

  • Who got the Intel ad?

  • Great Review, I just bought this CPU and after watching your review I feel much better! Love your channel

  • Hey i have searched for a price on the Jetway HA12 890FX Motherboard motherboard for this cpu and i can't find it any where any one help me

  • How does he get it to run at 3.9ghz. I am new to higher spec computers but how do you actually change the ghz what programmes and settings do i need to go on and change

    Kind regards

  • @hikinguphigh you can change it in the bios.watch?v=5a7AxZJ7tWc

  • @hikinguphigh you need to adjust the cpu multiplier in the bios of your motherboard

  • @tomcatdcn your probz think im a retard but how do i get to the motherboard bios

    kind regards

  • @hikinguphigh Not at all. :) Before the post screen, there should be a screen with an array of options. For example, f11= bios setup end=qflash or f12 = boot device. Now, these are the options for my motherboard. Your motherboard is almost certainly going to be different. What you want to look for is the hot-key that leads to the bios setup. In there you will find a wide array of options to choose from. It's likely to be under something to do with frequency settings.(to be cont. in next comment)

  • @hikinguphigh So just poke around in the bios without changing any of the settings. If you think you have, don't worry about it. You can exit without saving and nothing you did will have any effect. Overclocking can get a bit harry once you encounter stability issues, especially when you don't have an unlocked CPU. I might be posting a vid about this soon, so check out my channel over the course of the next few days, I should have something up.

  • @hikinguphigh It's very difficult to explain in just comments, so I'm gonna record a video now and post it.

  • why is on 2:22 only 5 cores ?

  • @619volkan 0 and 1 are two numbers, not one

  • @antisteo ahh ok thx xD

  • i wil l buy this cpu AMD Phenom II X6 1100T but works that on win xp and on M4A785DM PRO

  • The stock cooler that comes with this CPU isn't bad at all. On my rig (which has a lot of ventilation), when idled the temp is 17 degrees, but when at 100% load it gets to 51 degrees (55 degrees when overclocked to 3.7Ghz). I am not much of an overclocker, so I just run it at its default 3.3Ghz most of the time ;)

  • oh and btw my system is going to be a gaming rig so please help me with this

  • @187ed187

just remember to chose the appropriate mobo for the cpu, i would go with this cpu

  • @ERIK5564 would this mobo be appropriate? Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3

  • @tuanieboy

i think it should work and it looks like a nice mobo

  • @tuanieboy

you can pm me if you have more question

  • @ERIK5564 ok ;)

  • What would you choose, Intel Core i7 950 3,03 Ghz or this one? I am seriously leaning towards this one.

  • @187ed187 At 4Ghz the X6 is apparently on par with a i7-930 or so. Whatever your moneys limit is i guess..

  • Would you reccomend getting this now or waiting for the FX-8130P 8 core to come out?

  • I will tell you one game that is engineered around multi-cores: Rigs of Rods. That's why i bought this processor

  • I'm going to buy two 6950s at 1 GB. If I overclock them, will they be able to run upcoming games?....for example Battlefield 3. Oh and my new core will also be a 3.3 Ghz AMD 1100T. 8 GB RAM ddr3....I'm ready right?...right?

  • @Stealyourcrap your worieng if your gona run bf 3 -.- my intel i5 760 and ati 5770 will run it at high im soo sure in that...

  • I would like to point out to a lot of people who are horribly misinformed when it comes to CPUs. Your network connection and graphics card are going to account for 90% or more of your gaming performance. The reviewer in this video even says so at around the 5:00 mark.

A cpu like this is designed for heavy cpu threaded tasks, that can use the processing power offered by this beast, not your average game that is only using 2-4 cores at the best of times.

  • @RPMprocess Network connection got nothing to do with performance does it? O_O

  • @alancik123 when playing online yes..

  • @AeroFix94 lol.. >_>

  • can anyone here review or unboxing my cpu it is a amd sempron le1250 i just want to know if the cpu is ok for gaming or not and it only has 1 core

  • @dark8216 damn... what a beast!

  • @dark8216 I can tell u right now that u will be able to play wow and wc3 not Dirt 3 or something tough

  • @OverclockerXno1 my cpu is not use for gaming or not because i try team fortress 2 on everything on low and i get alot of lag when in big fights but its still to good to play through.btw i have windows 7 ult, and nvidia geforce 6150se nforce 430

  • @dark8216 considering that lag will be due to server latency and not system specs I would say your system is running fine

  • Intel change socket design a lot more often and currently Intel CPUs are generally much more expensive too. So, upgrading an Intel system is not so fun. I've had my current E6600 for several years now and it's first now I'm thinking about upgrading CPU but all socket 775 CPUs that are for sale at the moment are not compatible with my motherboard.

I'm going with AMD even though Intel's CPUs are faster. Intel is way too expensive and you can't wait too long for upgrading.

  • I KNOW THIS MIGHT SOUND STUPID BUT CAN U USE THIS CPU WITH AN INTEL MOTHERBOARD ? PLEASE RESPOND

  • @1SH0T2K1LLS

Nope. Intel processors have different sockets.

  • @1SH0T2K1LLS really? if your planning on building a computer you should probably learn the different socket types

  • Would this work for vista? :3

  • @Funwithtrolls omg are you serious

  • Will my 5770 bottleneck this cpu???

  • @OverclockerXno1 I would say no because nothin maxes the sixcore while the Graphicscard is used fully... I am using the 1055t @ 3,5 GHZ with the eah 5770 and i am not gettin into trouble...

  • what kind of cpu cooler are u using for AMD Phenom II X6 1100T?

  • hi i have a amd phenom ii x3 720 2.8ghz and i wanna buy this AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition, just wondering, how do you enable turbo mode?, and second thing, i have a bios were cant overclock i cant change anything in the bios will those thing change in the bios ?

  • This video deserves 2 likes from every viewer. Thanks

  • Wow tHAT WAS A REALLY GOOD REVIEW MAN thanks

  • consider that with the new 990FX boards, you can run SLI on an AMD system, yes people SLI!

  • What program was he using to get the CPU Temperature? Because I have this CPU and the fan is constantly running full blast... I want to see what the temperature is

  • @BrandonioProductions Speedfan...

  • its even better cuz now its only 189.99 on newegg!!!!

  • Is this CPU better than an Intel Core i7-2600k For gaming?

  • @sardo97 YES.

OK maybe in today gaming the I7 is slightly better but in a few years(or more years) when 6-cores will be the standart the Core i7-2600k will be useless

And the AMD is cheaper so it's clear its the smarter and more future proof choice

  • @Ucsemis future proof? HA you have no idea what you're talking about. Also the i7 2600k has hyperthreading so it has a hypothetical 8 cores so gtfo.

  • @Patrunic yeah..the FX with 8 cores has hyperthreading superior to the I7. so it has hypothetical 20 cores....

your 2600k dosen't look that "visibly smart" now

  • @Ucsemis AMD's new FX 8 core processors doesn't have hyperthreading of any equivalent technology. They have 8 physical cores.

  • @Hapikern yeah my mistake, hyperthreading is Intel's name for Simultaneous multithreading, AMD uses Simultaneous multithreading too, but their technology is weaker so they didn't name it.

The FX has 8 threads and 8 cores

And an thread is not equal in performance with an core, not even 6 are

  • @Patrunic Hyperthreading adds only 4 logical cores, which gives like 15% more performance in multi-threaded applications. It doesn't mean double the performance.

  • @sardo97 As far as price to performance ration... YES! THIS IS WAY BETTER!

Most games dont use 6 cores... Or even 4 cores for that matter... You could get a great gaming CPU plus 2 extra cores, I mean come on, if a game is optimized for 2-cores and you have 6 it cant hurt right?! So I'd go with the AMD 6-core, or even a 4-core AMD if you want to save even more cash.

  • where he said the cpu is not meant for gaming hes right but wrong , right now games are bearly requiring quad cores , tri cores , but coming up in 2012/2013 games are going to be requiring 6 cores

  • @sladewehner1 BFBC2 uses all 6...BFBC3 will probably do the same.

  • PHENOM "FEN-NOM" NOT "FEE-NAM"

  • @jameswalsh5683 TOMATOE "TOM-Ā-TOE" not "TOM-AH-TOE"

  • @jameswalsh5683 it's an accent bro, chill

  • this or the AMD 980 x4? for gaming..

  • @Hawkeye632 im not pro at this stuff so if im wrong sry but this would be allot better. I think?

  • @Hawkeye632 either

  • cara esse processador é o melhor até o da intel core i7 nao chega nen perto dele muito bom mesmo

    eu tenho o x4 e é otimo

  • for future questions : the 2500K is better than ANY AMD CPU atm and the price is on par with the Phenom II X6 1100T ( at least in my country ) so unless your budget is limited get the 2500K :)

  • i5 2500k @ 4.6Ghz or the AMD Phenom II X6 1090T @ 4Ghz?

  • @iOzzyyyyy 2500K. google "2500K vs 1090T" or 1100T and you'll see the intel is much better. I had to choose between a 2500K and a 1100T 3 months ago and i'm glad i chose the 2500K.

  • @bgioni Oh, i see, thank you very much, i'm definitely going to buy the 2500k now (i'm not being sarcastic if it seems like i am), thanks again.

  • x-(x-(x-(AMD processors and the most stinking dead tired and valleys of their most finished!

  • What is better? AMD Phenom 1100T or i7 950?

  • @Darkteammadfiz Even Intel i5 2500k outperform Amd x6 1100t in almost every aspect. Get the i5 if you're in the $200 budget.

Amd used to be really good in term of performance/price but now their performance are mediocre compared to Intel.

But Amd is going to come out with a new processor engineered and designed from scratch with a new architecture which they claim could outperform Intel i7 by 50%. Don't know when they will be available though.

  • please guyz tell me i get core i7 960 or this processor please guyz btw don't thing about money

  • @MsMazor Even Intel i5 2500k outperform Amd x6 1100t in almost every aspect. Get the i5 if you're in the $200 budget.

Amd used to be really good in term of performance/price but now their performance are mediocre compared to Intel.

  • How about does Intel Core i5-2500K offer better performance for gaming than AMD Phenom II X6 1100T?

  • my 1100T was only $199.99 at newegg(dot)com

  • @wilfredotour2 check the date of video lol :p

  • AMD = Hardcore Gaming

    Intel = Extracting porn fast

  • When you say ''OK'' you sound like Tony Montana , LOL

  • @TheVirtualRalph no in IPS instructions per second. Every cpu company has their own core design(combination of Arithmetic problem solving units and registers, instruction storage) and intels core designs since the core 2 duo have had a higher IPS count than AMD per core. It is logical to have fewer stronger cores than to have multiple weak ones especially if your programs only run on 1 or 2 threads. The GHZ hype is over its all about efficiency now if a 1ghz cpu beats the 3ghz im getting the 1gz
