Has anyone yet pointed out that what you see at the beginning of this video is absolutely NOT the way to release a fish? Letting it slip out damages the layer of mucous on its skin, making it susceptible to infection. Just lower it gently into the water and uncurl your fingers.

Larry Graham can't beat Claypool. He may have been the first to really make the technique big, but Les uses it just as well and is a better bass player in general. Graham didn't have a 6 string fretless bass. He may have been great but claypool is better.
