  • I'm so in love with this song it's everything to me <3

  • This movie is the Little Mermaid all over again. Back in '89 when Mermaid came out it was heavily criticized because it wasn't like all of Disney's older animated fairy tales. It also didn't due amazing in the box office either. Yet here we are 20 years later and Mermaid is scheduled for a 3D re release and a diamond edition. i expect Princess and the Frog to be getting the attention and praise it deserves in the future.

  • I love this movie so much... Its probably my favorite Disney princess movies. <3

  • When they first announced that Princess and the Frog was to be traditional animation with musical numbers, I think at least 16 years was shed from my age when I actually felt excited for a new Disney movie which is something that hasn't happened in a really really long time. Thank you Disney for bringing back something precious!

  • Anika Noni Rose is an awesome singer!

  • this song makes me sad because its the end of the movie i just want it keep going!

  • I love the style of music in this movie :] really fresh...and just really fun to listen to. different from the other movies!

  • Disney ain't quite back to their glory days, but they are Almost There.

  • One M0:00re time!!!

  • This reminds me of 2009, aw. It was a hard year but I pulled through and came out on top ;)

  • This movie has my FAVORITE music out of every disney movie! :D

  • I just got back from New Orleans (or N'awlins) and this film plays every single style down there! From Cajun to Dixie and from Jazz to Gospel, this movie has it all! Not to mention the beignets! They are the best dessert in the world and Tiana serves them at Lottie's Masquerade!! Love this movie!

  • I LOVE this song. I don't care that this finale one is short i LOVE Anika Noni Rose's voice. this song reminds me soooo much of Disney!!! I LOVE how the song has that new fresh jazzy edge that makes it unique to the Disney genre songs, but it also has that part where she goes 'Dreams do come true' and it sounds so Disney I just LOVE it!!!! ... ok ill stop going on and on about it now ...

  • this song makes wanna go to disney world and new orlean!!

  • The trumpet in all PatF songs is so powerful and beautiful. I love trumpets.

  • What a voice! :D

  • lol did anyone else think that charlotte was such a cougar at this part in the movie "how old are you?" "six and a half" "well i waited this long" hahaha XD

    I LOVE THIS MOVIE :D

  • I seriously think I'm addicted to Randy Newman... I don't really care, though ^^)

  • BEST! Soundtrack! EVER!!^^

  • Nobody please bash Tangled. I know the critics were idiots when it came to Princess and the Frog (this is obviously a great movie) but that doesn't mean Tangled is less great. They're both really good movies - great refreshing takes on famous fairytales.

  • Because of this movie, I wanna go to Louisiana <3

  • best song ever!!!!

  • love love love this song and her voice!!!!!! XD <3

  • I love the jazz in this!

  • I love this movie and this song so much, I like how powerfully Anika Noni Rose sings it. <3

Sorry to bring my love of football into this, but I love the fact this movie (and song) came out a few months before the Saints went to - and won - the Super Bowl for the first time.

Just goes to show you - Dreams do come true in New Orleans. :D

  • DID YOUTUBE JUST CHANGE ON ME!?!?!??!?!?!?!/

  • So it is produced by John Lassater, the soundtrack is from Randy Newman. Disney, you should hang around these Pixar guys more often

  • Everyone pray that this movie will bring the beginning of the second Disney Renaissance.

  • I love that "Dreams. Do. Come. True" bit. Send tiny shivers all down. Great Great Great film. Shame that Tangled (what kind of awful name is that?!) does not (yet) seem to follow in this great film's footsteps

  • @Davidaiow Are you kidding! Tangled was great! The songs, the visuals, the characters.... A different style, but just as good.

  • @MagicansForce This was when we only had a trailer. It's not been released here yet, but there have been many good reviews so I may have to retract that statement. That being said, asthetically PatF does, visually, look much better (and has a better title ;) )

  • @Davidaiow I'm going to have to disagree with you on the visual statement. Yes, the fact that it's been hand-drawn is excellent, but the "I Can See the Light" scene of Tangled blows most, if not all of PatF out of the water (no pun intended). The lights, the water, the city skyline. Even Repunzel's hair is a piece of art in and of itself!

  • @MagicansForce Haha I'm happy for you to disagree. Like I said, I've only seen the trailers since it's not been released here. In my original post I even stipulated 'yet' and I think it's unfair to criticise a predictive statement which was made before I've had the chance to view it an alter my opinion. Of course, even if I still disagreed, it would be disrespectful to attack that opinion ;)

  • The reviewer on BBC Film2011 said that that final scene was the best part at that without it, Tangled (just call it Repunzel!) would just be a mediocre film. They also said it was better than Princess and the Frog. I guess I'll have to wait and see. The Horse looks hilarious though.

  • @Davidaiow I didn't realize that you hadn't seen it yet. I didn't mean to be disrespectful. Please take my comments as glowing reviews to the movie and go see it as soon as possible. It really is very magical, and a wonderful interpretation of the story.

  • @MagicansForce Thanks! I look forward to seeing it! It can't be bad- it's Disney!

  • i like it in italian better

  • imagine listening to this song... then turning on the tv and seeing sad news about the fifth anniversery of hurricane katrina.... one of the saddest things ever. i love this movie. one of disney's greatest... long live princess and the frog!

  • It's nice to hear the song without the dialogue and sound effects

  • after seeing this i just couldnt get enough of it I LOVE IT!!! ive probably watched it about 5 times now :)

  • man, this is such a good movie. now they finally have someone in new orleans square at disneyland. and plus tiana sings @ disneyland while no other princess does. so cool of her ^ ^

  • This movie rocked! It definitley has a memorable place on the classic shelf of Disney! Love the music!

  • wow the critics being harsh on this Disney masterpiece? The Characters are awesome, the music is awesome, graphics blew me away and dance moves are incredible. the plot is just...amazing. I can't even stop myself from watching the movie. Even Ne-yo's song just drives me to tears. this is a really great movie. I wish people didn't hate it from the start. (the prince was white, we have a black princess, changes and blah) they human beings like all of us right? we have the right to love anyone no?

  • This movie has one of the best scores done in a Disney film.. Go Randy Newman!

  • this is the best song that i liked out through the movie

  • Forgot the reprise of Friends on the Other Side.

  • When I need inspiration for my school band I'll always think New Orleans baby.

  • i cant believe the critics theses songs are amazing two where nominated 4 oscars

  • they REALLY took a risk with this movie. and it paid off!

  • The critics who didn't like it were just hating because there was a black disney princess for once

  • that would be pure racisme..

  • i hate how the critics said that none of the music was memorable. what kind of BS is that????

  • @sisi0cat0chan Give me their names. I'll take care of them.

  • @sisi0cat0chan The biggest BS I've ever heard. After a few viewings the music really does grow on you. Definitly one of Randy Newman's best works.

  • @sisi0cat0chan seriously? wow. its impossible for randy newman to not make memorable disney music.

  • @sisi0cat0chan it that hateful s**** yah know

  • @sisi0cat0chan That's cause they are idiots xD This music was really memorable and catchy ^^

  • @sisi0cat0chan The bs of someone who couldn't come up with a movie like this. The music in this Movie was FANTASIC! So I don't know what in the hell thoose critics were thinking about when they reviewed this.

  • @sisi0cat0chan I agree. i actually think the music was this movies strongest point.

  • @sisi0cat0chan i havent seen this forever, and iwas singing this song washin dishes... fuck them critics

  • Love all the songs! And love the movie too!

  • one of my favorite Disney villains.. that includes Jafar and Yzma.. ahhaahha :D

  • @27movielover

Yzma!!! (in my opinion) She gives Disney villains a bad name.

  • do you mean that in a good or bad way?

i love the emperor's new groove.. i laughed at yzma's funny antics..

  • i fuckin luv this movie and all tha songz

  • i wish i had a voice like that. jazzy AND beautiful.

  • beautifully made movie

  • love the ending. Almost better than the roar at the end of lion king. Almost.

  • agreed. In fact this song still makes me get teary eyed cause I'm thinking about the ending. GREAT ending.

  • ALL SPAM WILL BE DELETED!!!

People, please go to a theater and actually 'PAY' to see this movie. If this movie gains enough profit, Disney will have no choice but to start making more traditional 2D animated canons.

Thus, The Disney Renaissance 2 have a better chance of becoming reality.

  • the little mermaid was a fairy tale from hans christen anderson

  • I've been to New Orleans, it's a charming place!

  • yeah, most of the disney princess movies came from grimm brother stories, but the grimm brothers had grimmer endings. ariel turns to foam and dies instead of marrying eric, etc

  • The Little Mermaid is by Hans Christian Andersen, not the Grimm brothers.

  • lol yeah and snow white choked on her apple and was in a coma instead of her biting it and falling asleep XD! no spells! The prince wanted to keep her body as a display in his room XD lol!! the grims are so weird haha!

  • they did not write the stories themselves, they just collected them.

  • I know they didnt write the stories, Im saying I like they're version too

  • @theory24 I knew every other story except for this one. Lol what what? XD

  • They took the princes and the frog (princess kisses frog, frog turn into a prince, happily ever after) give it a deeper plot, set it in new orleans, and gave it music.

It's a really good movie, too. Saw it yesterday with my girlfriend.

  • Not to mention they gave it one kick ass villain and lovable comic relief characters! :)

  • @Jasutin It actually takes place in New Orleans

  • @livinlarge18 I kinda said in my post that it is set in New Orleans.

  • I don't think the little mermaid was actually a grimme fairy tale though. The little mermaid was written in 1837

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Cinderella's step sisters literally, like, cut their feet to try and fit into the glass slipper?

    Ugh...

  • yeah, the first had to cut off her big toe, and the other had to shave the sides off of her heels

  • This song, it just makes me smile... <3

  • I love Jazz :)

    the music is so cool^^

  • This movie would have been awesome just with the plot, but when I usually watch movies, I listen carefully for the music and this is the first that used jazz so AWESOMELY!!!!!! LOVED IT!!! MUST WATCH AGAIN!!

  • @tooncrazy101, to be fair, this is Disney. If you're expecting a realistic love story, look elsewhere. I mean, what was Arielle's rationale for falling for Prince Eric again? Snow White? Sleeping Beauty? I'm pretty sure the main draw was that *they were there.*

  • Technically, the princess and the frog had a more realistic love story, at least they spread some time with each other before falling in love. I mean in the Little mermaid, didn't she just fall in love with Prince Eric at first sight, without knowing who he was. He could have been a murderer or something.

  • lol it's why a friend of mine doesn't like the movie. she basically sold her soul for a vagina and a hot guy she didn't know in the first half of it.

  • Creepy idea, but I so agree with you XD

  • @dsbs42 Very nicely worded, sir. Also, do we really watch Disney movies for the complex, intimate relationships? Nooooo, we watch them for the characters, the great animation, and of course catchy songs. As far as plot goes on this movie, its essentially a mishmash of 15 other Disney movies, set in New orleans. But that's okay, because its amazing just the same.

  • @FunFaxTV I am, in fact, a madam, but your praise is appreciated :)

  • @dsbs42 Ah, terribly sorry XD

  • geez, how cynical. it's called "love at first sight". and plus, they're centuries-old fairy tales. Disney didn't write them to begin with, people like Hans Christen Anderson and the Grimm brothers did.

  • I love this song so much.

  • such soulful songs. ^^ Randy Newman outdid himself on this soundtrack.

  • Man, this movie was so good, that it makes me want to fall in love with somebody with no apparent reason!

    x]

  • lol

  • LOL That's a good one!

  • this film and soundtrack is addicting. I love it!

  • I love this song. Gah. xD

  • love the song, love the movie, man i gotta see it again!

  • Thank you so much for uploading the soundtrack!

  • LOVE THIS MOVIE!

  • amazing finale

  • her voice is soo beautiful reminds me of natile cole

  • OH this was a great movie!

  • cn u stop sayin that its getting annoying

  • please stop saying that no one believes you -_-

  • We (Lyle Henderson & the Pinnacle Gospel Choir) were at the screening yesterday. The film is soooo magical and they really got the accents, cuisine, culture and subcultures RIGHT. I applaud the research that they did to develop the script.

  • I saw the movie yesterday and it was AMAZING <33

  • I so love this soundtrack, I need to buy it.

  • i love this!!!!!! xD

  • WHEre can I find the lyrics to this cd? all i can find is 1 and its the 1st one on the cd. what about the others?

  • It's in booklet that comes within the cd, you can find the lyrics for all the songs there. The booklet of song lyrics is amazing, it has images from the movie in it. I find the artwork to be extremely creative and beautiful for this movie. For a person, that never got to see New Orleans in it's glory, I feel that the movie captures the beauty of New Orleans.
