as an oef vet myself i think this is beyond comical. no way would i ever trust a liberal to lead in a time of war... actually, i dont like the thought of a liberal ever being in a position of authority. they are intelligent people with a dangerous and misguided views on the world and government. socialism will ALWAYS lead to a bankrupt government and communism is not possible. maybe they should come back to the real world instead of the one with unicorns and pots of gold at the end of rainbows.

When John McCain doesn't know the difference between Sunni and Shia it's a much bigger problem. When he says several times that Iran is training alQaeda terrorists and needs Lieberman to whisper the right answer in his ear THAT is a problem. When John McCain sings 'bomb, bomb Iran' knowing he is on camera, that is a huge problem. It is beyond a gaffe.

You guys are missing the point. It isn't that Biden doesn't know the difference between a battalion and a brigade. It's that he has an unavoidable tendency to screw up when speaking. This is one of the weaker ones, true. But, the point is that it's just a matter of time before the next one comes. The guy only takes his foot out of his mouth in order to switch feet.
