Sigh, getting pretty tired of this "DQ1 IS BETTA IN HOLLAND!!!11" discussion on youtube which has been going on since 2009. I've been to Defqon 1 2011 this year as I'm Dutch myself and it was freaking awesome, do I want to go to Australia to experience it again? Absolutely. It's about the party, not where the hell it's at. The crowd seems just as good as in Holland, maybe even better. If I had the money, I'd go to Australia this year but I don't. Go Aussies!

I must agree with lattters. I am from Holland. 2010 will be my 6th time i visit Defqon1. Its so amazing. I don;t know how many cards are sold here but in holland 2009 there were 52.000 cards sold in ( believe me ) 1,5 houres. 13 diverent area's if i am correct. Best festival ever !! love you guys !

Big Day Out has 55,000 tickets sold each year in most states. They sell out in under an hour usually.

I'd rather go to a QDance event though.

i am from holland, and i have visit all defqon.1 festifals in holland.... and I see that the ending of defqon.1 australia is a mix of all the endings of defqon.1 in holland. Thats why they play the (old) songs!

I mean I love Hardcore/Hardstyle (only music that I listen to) but I wouldn't say how crap this Defqon1 is compare to its original 1 Stage setup between Australia and Holland is incomparable but I wouldn't diss ours either.
