I reckon these guys are the real deal, I am that old that I was collecting music when the Stones, The Pretty Things, Van Morrison & Them, all began in the early 60's. There have been lots of pretenders in the meantime but The Frowning Clouds have nailed it, but that's just my view...
Love this band-60s garage 'punk' played with the wild spirit of 77 garage punk..would like to force all the old farts of my generation[who groan bout there being no decent, exciting music nowadays]to watch this vid-& scream in thier hairy ears..WHAT YA CALL THIS THEN!!!
Christ man, calling this band's music garage punk from 77 is an offense to them! come on! they sound more like the R&B from the sixties in the way that the stones used to cover it, and that is fuckin awesome. what's punk compared to R&B, Blues and decent rock 'n' Roll?
Lauwalk, steve1963hit said they play 60s garage 'punk' with the SPIRIT of 77 garage punk... that they have lots of emotion/they rock hard or whatever you'd like to call it.. not that their music sounds like it.. douchebag, learn to read.
he's still callin' it punk -.- "60's garage punk". And again, sayin' they have the spirit of the ramones or the sex pistols or whatever when they play 60's R&B doesn't sound right to me, knowing their influences lol If I were them I wouldn't like to be compared to it. so the all point of my coment is right. And make sure you watch your mouth, I wasn't unpolite to anyone, I just gave an opinion and a complement to the boys.
