My Maxx is similar but I have the monster Gt radio tray sawed off into receiver box and battery tray, my radio is up on front servo mt where theth servo used to be, my th is now just like yours, my fuel tank is a tc3 tank where the battery tray used to be ,and Jt racing skeleton frame, picco .21 midblock , rips!
i have the old maxx 2.5 and it wasnt doin it for me so i swiched my 2.5 with my o.s. 12tr from my touring car it took some work but it looks sick and i cant wat to run it right now i cant run it because i need a new crankshaft with a pin for the pull start because the o.s. uses a starter box. hopefullyit will go like stink. i also lightend it by removing the reverse. i also fabricated my own truck body and exhaust pipe it is pty sick.
the 4 shocks are so much better than 8 . They dont get in the way when you work on the maxx. Also I got rid of reverse + e-z start. Makes it a lot easier to work on. and a bit lighter to
Nice! I was planning to do the same thing. One question though did you use the stock clutchbell, flywheel ect... or do you have to buy new ones to make it fit?
Yes you can use the stock cluth bell, but you need to get a 3 pieace, "preferably" aluminum clucth shoes, because the stock one's, tend to burn up and melt.
what did you do for differentials?
