  • Was this piece recorded outside because the acoustics are amazing Jean pierre Rampal has played this piece many times but I have never heard such resonance its as if this piece was written for the place...

Thanks Kaori (was the flute a Mateki ?)

  • How beautiful this is! Wonderful performance!

  • I don't really enjoy the sound of the flute, except your sound, a very musical tone that reminds me of the grandness of Organ music. Wonderful thank you very much for posting this video.

  • I think part of what makes the flute sound so wonderful is the breaks in between the music, makes it more personal somehow...

  • @Nimz73 She has the breaks and phrasing down perfect(ly). Very nice interpretation.

  • Very nice - what a wonderful piece of art !

This is instant peace for everyone with a heart.

    Thank you !

  • I'm playing this song for a scholarship concert. I love the changes she made to the original Bach sonata. It sounds much more contemporary and soothing. Deffinate "Like."

  • very beautiful...

  • Her flute music mixed with the natural background is so relaxing.

  • Uaaao... she and her flute are both really good. The flute has a really good sound.

  • 1:34 to 1:41 also

  • 0:23 to 0:30 the best part for me

  • bravo Kaori- i like flute performance, sound of yuor flute. whaT model it is? muramazo? or..? i play with muramazo-silver and glden sheridan-headjoind, but i have;nt so good sound .

  • it is supposed to be played all articulated, too much breaks that do not follow the harmony and the phrases. Every player has different tastes, but in my opinion you played this in romantic style.

  • Brava Kaori!!!

  • I like your interpretation of this the best out of any performance I've heard. I'm using this piece for my second round of college auditions this year. Thanks for being such an awesome influence!

  • Hipnotizante.

  • Breathing is part of playing. Not mistake.

  • I really liked how you played it, I don't understand why some people are bothered so much when someone plays something a little bit different

  • THERRE ARE SOME VERY STRANGE breaths here----and I can hear you inhaling --no no no no!

  • I'm also learning to play this song and every time I mess up I listen to this so I can hear why it's supposed to sound like so far I only have the first 6 measure but I'm only in 8th grade and working very hard

  • @zdenek Another thing you also seem to fail to recognize is that most peices like this are built for baroque dances, and that the steps in that same dance influence the accent and emphasis on different notes.

  • A truly outstanding interpretation of this beautiful allemande. Glorious tone and impeccable intonation. Flute playing doesn't get much better than this. A huge inspiration to me and thank you so much for sharing your rare artistry. Brava Signora!

  • Truly a wonderful performance! I love your take on the phrasing and the very lyrical nature you impart into it full of emotion and feeling. You tone is also outstanding and very rich and full. Bravo!

  • Very sensitive and musical playing is impaired by not understanding that this work is not only organized by harmony, bit also by polypohony - hence the disconnection of the flow, which could be hardly tolerated by string/keyboard players.

  • @zdenek1113

Hmmm. Respect for your opinion, and I think I understand what you mean. In plain English you don't like her breaks? What you mean by the polyphony-thing I don't understand at all.

In my opinion it is an excellent interpretation - even though I'd tend to agree a bit with you on the breaks - if that is what you meant.

  • @zdenek1113 It can hardly be tolerated by people who play woodwind instruments for string/keyboard players to criticize breaks, considering these instruments are played in opposite ways.

  • brava ...una versione particolare e musicale

  • esa mujer si que toca flauta!!! me encantó

  • So much nicer than Pahud! Great interpretation with just the right emotions.

  • beautiful ♥♥

  • que bellooo sonido....beautiful ♬

  • wonderful Fujii!!!!

  • That was beautiful.

    Thank you.

  • just awesome

  • She's my new flute teacher. She is SO good! I'm typing on my dad's account.

  • I loved this performance! you are simply outstanding! ...so emotional and profound.. I´m not so used to this way of playing.. beautiful

  • A very interesting interpretation of the Bach - I love the emotions presented when you play this, so much more melancholy than I have heard it performed before.

  • Wow...it sounds so different from the cello piece...well done, Fujii-sama!!

  • Beautiful setting! This is a really pretty piece.
