Just watched it on Netflix. Oh my GOSH, that was a good movie. The movie made me want them to get away with it the whole time, but the ending just... OWNED. haha, I hate being sixteen in this day and age...

The Flamingo is one of the casinos they rob in this movie? That's Bugsy Siegel's casino!!!! The mafia owned the casino at the time. So in this movie, they are stealing from the mafia.

Never got into the more recent version, but watched this one not long ago and thought it was fantasic. It was a great time of movies and this is a must watch movie.

Seen this movie a couple of times. Think it's great and miss all these old-timers immensely. These guys had staying power. That's why they cast all of them together. This was THE film that year because it had ALL the strong players of that year.

Frank and Brad Pitt are like apples and oranges. Neither one has to be superior to the other.
The modern remake was a reinterpretation to pay homage to the old school swingers. not an attempt to one up them.
I mean, in all reality they are both superb.
