@skmusic i think it was the actor who played Falken in the movie (not flashbacks) reading WOPR's lines through a vocoder. What they should really do is design a text to speech voice so whatever we type in sounds like WOPR. I'd love that. I'd even have it so when I log in it would say 'shall we play a game?'

@skmusic that is from a speak and spell(I had one back in 82 when I was 8) Texas Instruments LPC Speech Chips were the first ever voice chips designed back in 1978! You can buy them and program them (texas instruments TMC0280) or just find an old speak and spell.
