@ayza8473 well I saw some older ppl there so I guess you just need to take your time. I was personally pushing myself to walk as much of it as I could in the amount of time we were given before the tour bus left.

WoW!! Amazing. I am taking my daughter the China next June. I am so nervous about the climb, but hopefully our tour will allow a little extra climb time for the easily winded!!

@DijahDivaable lol, They usually give you a certain amount of time to get back to the bus but you don't have to go as far as I did. most ppl just mill around 1/2 mile or so. I just needed to get to this 2nd highest point for some reason. Was kinda cathartic. Have fun when you go. I hope to go back in March or May next year but not to Beijing. Try 3 different cities this time.

Last time I was there was for the Olympics. So in between events I did a little sight seeing.

@sgk1062 oh! cool. I wanted to go then but we couldn't work out the logistics. Hopefully I'll be going back next spring for my partner's 40th Bday. hit a few different cities including Hainan (Chinese Hawaii).

Wish there were cable cars when I climbed it. Started at the bottom in the parking lot, 2.5 hours later walked to the top and 1.5 hours back down again. The climb down was harder and steeper than the walk up. Good video though.

@sgk1062 you musta been there all day. lol. How long did you actually stay on the mountain? I couldnt imagine doing all that and then actually watlking the extent of the wall that I did...

Did you visit any other cities while you were there?

@sgk1062 yeah, it's the only way to ride. lol. Shoulda did the sled on the way back down but had to walk quite a ways to get there.
