I am from the caribbean and I must say that they make American food so exotic. Can not wait to make a holiday apple pie and sweet potatoe mash infused with some of her ideas. I LOVE their show. I also watch the 30 minute show, Good Eats and Paula Dean. Home cooking is the way to go.

Hey, this couple knows what they're doing! I had their BBQ pot stickers tonight, and that BBQ seasoning was included, and boy it was good! So honestly, in my opinion, Pat and Gina know what they're doing, they're good cooks!

I think so. Pat is a modern day Steppin Fetchit, with his "hyuck, hyuck, hyuck" and forever saying "ya'all" And I also agree that Gina is extremely annoying, as I said in my earlier post. And when she lets her one daughter "help" in the kitchen, she treats her like a retard, hardly letting her do anything herself. I feel sorry for the kid. And then of course there's that one mother (I forget whose it is) with the carrot colored hair. Wow, that really has me fooled...it's so natural looking..

The show was good the first couple episodes of the first year. However, their success obviously went to their heads and they've gotten cocky, downright silly, and have become stereotypes with their spouting of ebonics.
