Now everything makes sense, Kirby's Epic Yarn was inspired by a 17 years old commercial, after that, they developed the game and remember, where they used this style earlier, it was Kirby's Adventure, so why not make a game after Epic Yarn which the commercial based on, so Nintendo developed Kirby's Return to Dreamland (Kirby's Adventure Wii in Europe).

But seriously, I laughed a lot after seeing this commercial and reading these comments. ^.^

Ok, let me clear this up. Kirby's Epic Yarn was not base off this commercial. For one the game was even to be a Kirby game in the first place. The creators of "Wario Land: Shake it" Started work on the game and Nintendo picked it up and turned it into a Kirby game.

for those of you who didn't already know, kirby's epic yarn wasn't going to be a kirby game, but a entirely new fanchise with a character called 'fluff', however due to the protype being unfun, nintendo asked the developers if they wanted to make it a kirby game, the did after seeing kirby in it, so this commercial isn't relevent to kirbys epic yarn, despite it looks the same.
