  • HOLY... Did any one else notice the dude in the background at 3:26-3:28??? HE DISAPPEARED WTF?!!!

  • The VRE! I ride that shit to work!

  • Firstly, I thought this was really interesting and well done! Thanks for posting. Secondly, I'd like to point out that the Wikipedia article for the Bunny Man claims the legend "probably originated from two incidents in Fairfax County, Virginia in 1970." However, your interview with Mr. Ross seems to contradict that. He says he heard about the Bunny Man in the early 1960s! That would mean the 1970 incidents were inspired by an existing story, not the origin of it. Does Conley know about this?

  • I wanna meet The Bunnyman... then die.

  • @ZaraSovereign u whipped!

  • my friend told me that his dad and some of his friends went to the bunnyman bridge and saw bunnies walking on the sidewalk.

  • @SSJ3Raditz2010 omg that would be scary O.O

  • Mualated rabbits ? :O this makes me want to never take my bunny there . && i live like 45 minutes from there.

  • I heard he died in the 80's and his ghost is still there

  • thumbs up if you came here thinking it was an Echo and the Bunnymen documentary

    durp

  • ....I thought this was about Echo & the Bunnymen, and that's Donnie Darko music in the background!

  • Did the lunatic asslyum really exist?

  • @63KellyKelly there was no asylum in clifton there was a prison but it didnt hold crazy people

  • That chicks hot i live in VA...

  • WONDERFUL independant doc, however, bad job on cutting/editing your footage :(

  • Creepy :)

You feel a sense of being there while you watch this.

    Good Docu-video on the Bunnyman.

  • i'll never see bunnies the same way ever again O.o...

if i went there on halloween i would take a gun with me and wait for the bunnyman or whatever murderer is there and shoot em in the head

  • @MilitiaTheHedgehog Would be hilarious if the cops rolled up on you like they did xenocide8.

Heavily armed whacko, running around the train tracks at midnight hunting for bunny men. That's worth some court appointed time in a straight jacket.

  • I did a piss over the bunnyman bridge and onto the Bunnyman's head below...........and lived to tell the tale. A few days later, recieved an email from Mr Bunnyman himself, thanking me for the golden-shower! Kinky bastard!!!! (", )

  • I have been to the bunnyman Bridge on Halloween, I went there with my buddy, we actually went inside the tunnel and around 11:50 we went on the railroad tracks (we didn't wait till midnight since we'd like to stay alive) anyways the cops showed up, yelled at us, and told us to give them our tape. So we were forced to get rid of what we had, but I'm pretty sure there's something they just don't want us to know

  • @xenocide8 did you get that from the other video.

  • Ive been there, its kind of weird but i think its because of all the stories.....guy singing in the end is hilarious

  • oh and that library in fairfax city in the beggining isnt there anymore, they've built a new one and its being torned down =(

  • hey are you from nova?

  • i don't think this will show up on TV because they have cops there like fat people in a bakery shop so the cops are trying to cover something from the public. My friend went there on Halloween and couldn't even get close to the bridge cus of the cops.

  • Whats the name of the song at the beginning?

  • what a dumb ass there have been cops there and on halloween night they dont let people pass but i dont think they have cops there anymore scine a few years back so there was a time when there was a cops etc

  • well done

  • This is a really well done documentary here. It very professionally done. I like the various interviews done, especially on Brian A. Conley.

Although the ghost/insane asylum one makes a nice ghost story, I find the reports in the 1970s of the nutjob chasing people around in a bunnysuit with an ax to be more creepy. And Hilarious!

Anyway, how many mythes/crptids/ghosts can say they have their own themesong? The Bunnyman can! That was an awesome song that the guy sang about the Bunnyman.

  • heck yea im ready

  • i wanna pound allison like a "jackrabbit"....the bunnysuit shit with an axe is made up but the creepy murderer who hung his victims from that bridge i believe are true. Everyone that enters that bridge gets the creeps and feels the dark energy

  • dude i live 20 minutes away from the bridge

  • i live like 30 mintues from the bridge so this halloween me and like my whole family of cuzens are going there at midnight so if there is such thing of some bunny man he cant take us all on lik 30 of us!!!

  • I would do that too!!

  • omg what happened?!?!?!??!?!

  • nothing we sood there for a while but got bored and one of us made so dumb noses and we all got scared and ran like something happen

  • ive been to it so many time i walked through the only thing i havent done was actually climb onto the bridge and im doin that this halloween

  • welll halloween is coming soon... hope you are ready.

  • tell meh what happenz

  • i first known about the bunnyman bridge when i was watching the scariest places on earth and the bunny man bridge caught my attention because i am a huge fan of ghost stories and legends i some time wish i could go to bunny man bridge my self to see if the legends were true or not i really feel like the bunny man's spirit still wanders under that bridge because by the evedence that seems clear i truly believe the bunny man's spirit exists and still walks umong the living so thanks for the video.

  • lol i saw it watching that show too

  • me, too. I loooove Scariest Places on Earth, watch it every Halloween. Can't wait to watch it this year!:D And the Bunnyman Bridge episode is one of my favorites:)

  • some hotties doin the documentary. but on a serious note i had no idea i was watching scariest places on earth ( half asleep of course) and they were doin the candy man routine saying his name three times. but it just seems that show is scripted now

  • does anyone else think the girl is hot?

  • @phlhascoolshorts Damn she is HOT.

  • I forget where I read, but I read somewhere that officers almost had him captured, but he was struck by a train, he died (obviously) I mean, who's been hit by a train and lived to tell the tale xD

Anyway, the story I read that the mental instuttion was shut down due to residents not liking the idea the a crazyhouse being near their homes ( I have to agree with that). The facility was shut down and the convicts were being transferred when the freak accident occured with the bus. Legend begins.

  • i live in CA and have the ACE train

i heard some1 got hit by it and lived

but he got sued so yah

  • you do know the legend is fake. there was no muders and there was no asylum or mutilated rabbits. it all started from reports of a nut job in a bunny suit chasing people with a hatchet saying they were tresspassing

  • And where exactly do you get your facts from? Documented proof?

  • yes actually

  • Really. Well, I'd like to see a link or something as to where you got your information, or at least some proof that he /wasn't/ real. Merely replying 'yes actually' is no better than the people who say 'uh..... I think he's real'.

  • At 12 o'clock the bunnyman's spirt lights up above the tracks and comes down to kill the person who is under the bridge

  • good little film! i think JetsRule is correct on all accounts. the whole legend is fun. being there at night is OK (did it years ago), but the facts were embellished and exaggerated.

  • what happens if a train goes through the track at exactly at midnight on halloween?

  • then the bunnyman become roadkill :/

  • i think that the only true way to find the answers to your questions is to go to the bridge and spend a while there at night.

  • and for all of you people who said they went there and saw bunnies and all that crap, nice try on scaring everyone lol. it's not that scary except for at night, but what abandoned railroad in the middle of the woods isn't scary at night? i've been there a bunch of times, there aren't bunnies. there might be like 1 in the woods cause there's a bunch of bunnies around the area, but it's bs if you say you went there and something weird happened. there's all these security cameras there at all time

  • nice comment, jetsrule. however, i do not recall security cameras there. i do not think there are, unless the owners of that nearby expansive property installed some.

  • local cops put up motion sensors there, and if someone lingers around for too long they'll go off

  • btw, this is by far the best bunnyman documentary i've seen. this at least gives you the whole story and different people's stories and POV's. the other ones are just a pile of BS trying to make it into a movie or something.

i live right across the street from Colchester Rd (where it is), and I honestly think the Rd's scarier than the bridge. so many people that've died on the rd for fact, the bridge is a myth. it's a cool story, i think there was a bunnyman, but the story's over exaggerated.

  • Top grade filming, i loved this :)

  • Thank you I appreciate the comment. Thanks!

    Luis

    Director

  • my uncles swear they saw it 2 and alot of my friends went down their on hollowen but nothing happened people say the saw his ghost aruond the train tacks

  • if you go there on halloween, you'll get arrested, there's like 500 cops there. i live like 10 mins away from it, cops storm the place on halloween because of people trying to play pranks and stuff like that.

  • baby0blue isn't bsing i heard of something like that

  • where is he now?

hes drinking herbal tea with the jersey devil and sasquatch.

  • My dad's family lived in Clifton VA when they were younger. We just came back from visiting his mom and his brother and suddenly we just started talking about the Bunnyman. My uncle thought my dad would know what we were talking about but he didn't. I did and we had this big discussion. My grandmother just laughed at us because how stupid we sounded.

  • holy shit that guy in the black shirt disappeared 3:26 into the video

  • i go to fairfax city library all the time i heard that a few of the kids at my school went to bunny man bridge

  • Yeah Allison is hot had to mention that

  • this is actually really well made. good job i expect more documentaries in the future

  • I used to live in farifax...

  • i live in fairfax this should be on tv

  • sweet

  • you really should show this to destination truth on Scifi for halloween! and see what happens! this is cool! :)

  • Thanks Mewkemiko, I think I will do that in fact great idea.

    Luis,

  • @Demonkorn69 I so watch it

  • I live in Centreville right near clifton

  • I live real close to Fairfax... dam this freaks me out

  • I live in fairfax XD

  • my friends mom seen this dude before,

she swears on her life when she was 15 she saw the guy hiding

  • u should show this to destination truth on sci-fi

  • yo the guy dissapears at 3:26 but it is video editing. if you watch close the video, clips(stops for a split second)so they shot it twice

  • See From what I heard! The hospital didn't burn down. Back then there were house developements and the people didn't want the hospital so they moved it. As they were doing that 2 guys escaped and one guy did kill the other guy. The BunnyMan ripped out his intestent and the guys body was found later.

  • But the story goes that on holloween at Midnight the BunnyMan will kill whoever is on that bridge. So there was a story of these groups of kids who went there on Halloween. And at Midnight the kids were killed and there body was hanged over the bridge with there intestants ripped out. Another story in the 1920's-40's or something another group ok kids when there and there was this girl who chiken out and ran into the woods. But she turned around and looked.

  • So at Midnight when she was looking at her friends there was a bright light and she couldn't see what happend or maybe she did but she went back to the bridge and saw her friends bodies haning over the bridge with there intestants ripped out. She freaked out and went crazy, she later ended up in a mental hospital and she never really told anyone the really story of what she saw. But she died carrying the story with her. The last time some died there was in the 1980's.

  • yes thats about right, all that night her friends have been playing tricks on each other, and she started getting afraid so she turned around and started to walk out. supposedly, while she walked out she ran into one of her friends bodies, and came terrified into town.when she told people what had happened she was accused of the murders, and locked up, then in 1980 the same type of murder happened, and she was free to go,but she died in the asylum because she went insane while doing her....

  • sentence. what happened in the 1980's was similar to what had happened before. the lady there had gotten scared, then started to walk out when all of a sudden the lights got bright as day, and she heard screams. in a panic she started running. she felt a sharp pain in her chest, and around her throat (because of bunnyman's type of killing technique)and ran into her friends body knocking her out. she awoke with gray hair, and every morning she sits out on her swing looking towards bunnyman bridge

  • yeah he did disapear. This is a good video too, you should make more on urban legends

  • is it just me or did any one else noticed that guy that disappeared coming out of the pick up truck.

forward the video to 3:26 and look at the guy in the black shirt and tan shorts. he just disappeares.

  • Ok. A few things. First of all it was a good idea to interview the historian but I don't understand the point of the girl from Arlington and the guy with the guitar. What you should have done is if you were going to interview ANYONE it should have been people that have seen/heard strange things when they've went or people that live in those four or five houses down Fairfax Station road. Furthermore the scene transitions could have been a little smoother.

  • gotta say it was a terrific documentary very chilling i love bunnyman bridge

  • that was well-made. nice job.

  • Thank you, I was the DIrector of this and it turned out to be an award winning documentary so, thank you for your comment. Even though its a month ago. Thanks,

    Luis Larrea

  • thats really scary! a guy in a bunny costume?? probably like the one in Cabin Fever.

  • I think on a website they have an actual webcam in the tunnel.

  • yeah someone really should go there on holloween at midnight with a camera

  • anyone ever thought of placing a camera there at 00.00 halloween night i need proff thank you most i ever saw of it was a drawing og hanging peps there or was it a drawing??

  • me and my friends went down there last night...got scared like shit and when are drive out we saw like 4 bunnys run across the road...it was probably coincidence but it was scary as shit

  • give me a scooby snack ill find out who he is

  • ah hell that is HIlarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • GO VIRGINIA! Better yet, GO COVINGTON!

  • ZOMG. ITS ALLISON!

  • I've used that exact same microfilm machine!

  • zomg olney maryland represent

  • ohmygod. i fxcking live in Lorton. && they had that prison, i dont think there was a mental institute [i might be wrong] but this is fxcking scary shit

  • the whole modern part of the bridge is pretty ridiculous, but the background is very interesting. I think Clifton should put some sort of memorial up.

  • Good doc. i live in burke and i always wind up at bunnymans bridge when im drunk. I woke up there once and i didn't even know how i got there. But i beleive in it. Scary stuff

  • too bad the story is flawed. the lorton prison didn't open till 1910. and never has there been a mental asylum in fairfax county.

  • I beg to differ, in 1905 the people of Clifton felt uneasy by a asylum being so close to population. so thats when they decide the have the patients sent the Lorton for temp housing. I transit an accident occured.

  • wow!!

  • I live near there and I believe it.
