Its very reassuring to hear that i am on the right track from someone whos produced for as long as I have listened, it gives me confidence I might make a half descent tune at some point. I will post what I am working on at the mo and please give an honest opinion. Will do it next week when I am back from germany.
thanks. very rough as I said. I have only had my equipment 7-8 months so I am still a complete novice. so any advice is welcome. I ended up with the md, it arrived just before christmas and it is CRAZY. I will practice hard and get something half drcent together.

well 4 a 1st attempt not bad at all...so 5*
try 2 make some more variated loops or transpose 12+ & some gate effect on/off here and there & u have a perfect track

i think most important is 2 develop your own style...i mean we got enough Tiesto wannabes...not that u are ;)

Not too bad, probably about £3000 for the lot with the new drum machine I just got which isnt on the video. Worth every penny ;)

That 101 is purring and the Revo sounds great.
You might want to xpose the loop + or - 1 or 2 every once in a while to get some variety.
Did you end up with the 909 or the MD?
The MachineDrum really can create some crazy shit.

A little repetitive for my taste, but I'm still very excited to hear it with the MD.
