@butheadVSbevus The Doctor has always been a bit snide and snarky, even the more popular and goofy 4th Doctor had his moments.

Too many new fans think The Doctor is this happy, silly, goofball based on the Baker and Tennant Doctors. Too many think Eccleston was a bad choice but I think he was a brilliant choice to re-introduce people to the character.

The Doctor is a nice guy but long time fans will know he's kind of a douche sometimes.
