Masterpiece Skywarp, Starscream and Thundercracker part 1

i just ordered the american version of skywarp!!

I think the wierd thing is the Masterpiece starscream looks nothing like any paint scheme Starscream has ever had EVER... I want to know who was smoking what and why they weren't share with the public.

arent those basically the same? just a little detail modification and color change?

You do know the wings are supposed to pull out and up in robot mode and not be flush against his sides and the tail wings are supposed to be facing straight behind him well on all 3 of them if your gonna do a review at least transform them right and as far as thundercracker being the cheapest were did u find him because he's the most he goes for $250 on eBay and I've gotten all my mp for $150 and under except for rodimus he was $200 I have mp-1 mp-3 the hasbro/takara version not the ugly green

actually for me he was the cheapest of the 3 and all about a preference, some prefer to keep their collections in box and some out of the box, as for me i prefer having them out so i can admire and enjoy them more

i went to the flee market i brought only 35 dollars i was like alright im not gonna find him then i start talking to dis guy who was selling transformers i was like i want master piece skywarp he points at the top shelf he tells me he right there i saw him so happy bouhjt him he was 60 but i put 35 dollars on it so no one can buy him now im gettin him dis weekened ;]

Just to inform everyone about the american version; It has starscreams head with the exact same faces, but with yellow eyes instead

I have both versions of Starscream; MP-03 "Greenscream" and Takara G1 colors (with the Decepticon symbol on his nosecone and weathered paint that are missing on the Hasbro one). I love both since MP-03 has realistic colors and looks great in jet mode (I'm USAF and see the F-15 everyday and tho they're normally gunmetal gray, we do have the gray-green ones too). His striping is dark maroon red, not pink. G1 color Screamer I keep in robot mode since it's cartoon accurate. Overall, great figures!

There's two Japanese versions of mp starscream one green and one us colors but in Japanese box

nice review! just picked my masterpiece frm wal mart today, went to 5 different wal marts too! and all i gotta say is sweetness/badass....thinking about getting the japanese version too? what do you guys think

grats bro :) to be honest i prefer the japanese version better, i saw the hasbro version the other day and the black they use is like a flat black when the japanese version is a gloss black which i prefer but it's still an amazing toy, recommand him to anyone either takara or hasbro vesion

I just got the American version of Skywarp yesterday and they are painted on. I think it much beter than stickers.

sweet man, he is a great figure with gorgeous details, highly recommand him to anyone, if you get the chance to get Starscream and Thundercracker to go with him, all 3 together looks amazing, i can't wait to display them on my shelf again, they are in their boxes since i am moving in my new house 3 weeks from now. all my shelves are all empty :(

BTW sry yes the underside of Skywarps wing do have stripes painted on but no Logo. (no Stickers were included in the package.

I just picked up the Walmart exclusive of Skywarp (new one). and its amazing. Detail is awsome. was wondering if they were gona come out with a Starscream and Thundercracker version this year.

well they do have a Starscream, he came out in 2007 if i remember and as THunder, i'm sure it's just a matter of time...apparently the next MP Hasbro are doing is Grimlock

i have the starscream and after seeing this i`m looking forward to getting the other two. was the decals a pain in the ass? my starscream didn`t have any decals.

no it was not a pain in the ass, i was taking my time and was very careful because i didn't want to screw up anything....i forgot to mention they Thunder and Skywarp comes with a butt lod of stickers and i only put on the main ones ( logos and stripes ), i don't think lots of stickers would make them better looking.

in all for both of them took me close to 30 minutes.

skywarp is my favorite as far as quality goes....superb.

is your thundercrackers "chest thursters" on backwards too? also mines right shoulder doesnt transform all they way. : ( really disappointing for a 100 dollar toy

i do have the same problem with he's right shoulder and he is also damaged on he's right leg ( he was like that when i got him out of the box ) so yeah overal He is not the best of the 3 but still very cool to have to complete the 3 of them

check the fans on his chest...compare them to your other seekers. if hes anything like other peoples TC them they will be backwards. i never noticed mine till someone pointed it out.

My Thundercrackuh has two left rear tail fins...kinda weird... QC seems to be lacking on this toy... luckily he's my least fave of the seekers so no biggie

do you have any stress marks in the wing hinges? I had a starscream but after a few transformation it broke like a bitch.

not on Starscream and Skywarp but i do have some on Thundercracker tho :( also Thundercracker has a bit of damaged on his left wing and Skywarp has a VERY lose waist ( which i might try to glue it to make sure he doesn't break
