My issue is with I have checked with the first two editions of black's law dictionary and am unable to find the definition to the words your describing. For person It did talk about the corporation which would give credence to your statements i just can't find where is says that only the corporation is recognized under Canadian law. I am trying to do my due diligence and am hung up on this.

Amazing! I just looked at an online Black's Law Dictionary and pages 420-421 where the word employ would be is not there. It goes from page 419 to 422. Employer is there on 422 but that word does not go to the root of the matter. Strange?

I'm not sure I understand your question - but I've heard it said that when the statute is made, the definition must be from an early source. However, I think the foundational meaning of the word from the earliest legal concept should be the one which applies.

Black's 4th does not define it, neither does Ballentine's. Hows about pointing to the original texts with proof before uploading pointless video's that half wits only are likely to believe.
The thing you have to realise about the PERSON is this:
1) A word DOES NOT change its meaning, ESPECIALLY in Law and the Legalese language because everything needs to be exact, otherwise the system couldnt work.
Now, understanding this, the Blacks Law dictornary describes the word PERSON in a pretty much perfect way: "A Fictional Entity which May Have Rights and Duties Ascribed To It"
Now, in modern law dictornarys, there is 10+ different meanings for PERSON, but they ALL fit in with Blacks

I would like to know where in Black's Law Dictionary you found the term person. In the 9th edition, pp. 1257 it says:
Person. (13c) 1. A human being. Also termed natural person.
Sounds like you're referring to an 'Artificial Person' (pp.1258) which is indeed an entity created by law with duties and rights, such as a corporation. But these are distinct. The term 'Monster' does not exist in the entire dictionary. It seems you are twisting facts or you haven't actually done the research yourself.

Can anyone confirm these definitions in a Black's Law Dictionary? I have the 2nd Edition, and in that, these definitions are incorrect. They're surprisingly mundane definitions, but it's possible they've changed since then, since we're up to the 9th. Please post here and let us know.

Amazing! I just looked at an online Black's Law Dictionary and pages 420-421 where the word employ would be is not there. It goes from page 419 to 422. Employer is there on 422 but that word does not go to the root of the matter. Strange?

Counties and cities can be treated as a person in the same manner as a corporation. However, corporations, counties and cities cannot have the emotions of humans such as malice, and therefore are not liable for punitive damages unless there is a statute authorizing the award of punitive damages.

I'm not sure I understand your question - but I've heard it said that when the statute is made, the definition must be from an early source. However, I think the foundational meaning of the word from the earliest legal concept should be the one which applies.

It is important to study words, but you also have to know how to READ the dictionary. The fact that one definition of a person is a corporate fiction does not mean that all persons are corporate fictions.
Corporation law holds that corporations are fictitious persons. (yeah, that shouldn't be, causes a lot of problems, but it is that way).
That doesn't mean that I as a person am a corporation or corporate fiction or anything else.

The thing you have to realise about the PERSON is this:
1) A word DOES NOT change its meaning, ESPECIALLY in Law and the Legalese language because everything needs to be exact, otherwise the system couldnt work.
Now, understanding this, the Blacks Law dictornary describes the word PERSON in a pretty much perfect way: "A Fictional Entity which May Have Rights and Duties Ascribed To It"
Now, in modern law dictornarys, there is 10+ different meanings for PERSON, but they ALL fit in with Blacks

I would like to know where in Black's Law Dictionary you found the term person. In the 9th edition, pp. 1257 it says:
Person. (13c) 1. A human being. Also termed natural person.
Sounds like you're referring to an 'Artificial Person' (pp.1258) which is indeed an entity created by law with duties and rights, such as a corporation. But these are distinct. The term 'Monster' does not exist in the entire dictionary. It seems you are twisting facts or you haven't actually done the research yourself.

And this video references the 8th edition. Why would you reference a 100-year old law dictionary when making a case today? It does not add up.
