Spider-Man was such an fantastic series to me, it epic/mind blowing. It was truly a fight of a hero who lost so much, I'm glad that Peter give it everything he got against the Sinister Six and Venom.....simply beautiful.

I had seen this comic at Borders, but never really had any interest in it.

After this review I went and read it and it was epic.

One of the best Spider-Man comics I have ever read.

It was dark, it was suprising, so true to the characters yet putting them in completely new situations.

Art was a bit weird and occasionally even had trouble recognising characters.

But it didn't detract from the awesome story.

The part with the symbiotes was all weird. Those things were just eating people, which made no sense. The fight with Venom was just wrong. He just turned into goo and swallowed Spidey up, and Spidey just kinda broke out. And then theres the end. In his fight with Scorpion (awesome part) he drop-kicked him out of the window, but when the building goes up, there are six explosions. It isn't Venom who explodes, as he didn't have the bombs inside himself. I think it was just a mistake.
