  • and how is this news again?

  • Now China is trying to poison us with toxic reusable shopping bags! What will they think of next? First it was toxic dry wall then childrens toys and jewelry. They're out to wipe us all out so that when they take over our country, most of will be gone. F*ck China!!!! Stop all imports from China NOW!!!!

  • Another problem with the USA-

Our Republican nominee for the Illinois 14th congressional district ( Jim Oberweis ) has made millions helping Americans invest in the Chinese economy.

He claims his support of the Bush Administration economic policies will create jobs for Americans- Maybe his is talking about the couple of American jobs created in his Asia Opportunities Fund.

  • Nolonger I'm asking muself why so many chinese national inside the U.S are posting their loyalty to the National People's Congress of China. Now I wonder just how many of them are inside U.S? That just might be our problem.

  • Perhaps some did not listen to the ad? Walmart is trying to block the government requirement for stores to post where foods comes from. My confusion is why anyone of the posters on this blog would think that equates to WalMart being responsible for what they sell. I don't see WalMart taking responsibility for that, but perhaps I missed something? But, hey if it floats your boat to buy trash at a cheaper price, and you don't care what you are putting in your mouth - go for it!

  • They have to take responsibility for what they sell because if they sell you something like "poison" and label it as "chicken" or anything edible, they get sued. It's what we call "law" in the real world. They aren't shoving poison down anybody's throats. Just because they have a Mcdonald's in some of their stores does not mean that they are dragging you in there off the street and shoving it's food into your throat.

  • They are selling products from CHINA that have killed domestic pets in the US in very large numbers, they are selling toys from CHINA that contain toxic levels of lead. It is not a question of their taking "responsibility" - it is about the lack of control in checking the millions of shipments that come into the country every day from CHINA. Try watching the ad again and LISTEN to what it says this time. Some of us choose not to put ourselves and our children at risk to save a few bucks.

  • What is so evil about China that you have to type it in capital letters?

I'm sorry, but how many children are going to be putting dog toys in their mouths? I listened to the ad, and it's just hate speech. Then again, they find two toys for dogs, containing lead, but other ones were safe, yet, for some reason, the dog toy is a threat to children and adults?

  • missing the point sonic 8005 - enjoy buying crap from China.

  • Nothing but unguided hate. I get the point very well, and right now, the point is that you're being paranoid. This concept seems to fly over your head in your unguided attacks. If it's from China, it's evil. You some kind of troll trying to start fights?

  • WalMart is the largest importer of Chinese goods in the U.S. That is a fact, not paranoia. Name calling is typical of someone like you, who choose to believe what makes them feel comfortable. More than 20 million children's toys have been recalled this year, alone. Thomas the Tank trains, Winnie the Pooh play sets, Cub Scouts merit badges, and many more items have already been pulled from shelves across the country. Imported from China.

  • I didn't call you a troll, I asked if you were wanting to start fights like one. Apparently you are.

Why exactly these toys were recalled and what not seems to have been ignored by you, and whether or not all these came from Wal Mart doesn't seem to matter either.

You're the one who started the attacks.

Also, it took you three days to find this, and where did it come from?

  • Oh, I think I know who these guys are... aren't these the people who made that movie dissing Wal-Mart, and sell t-shirts insulting it's customers and workers? Also the people who occasionally flip it off?

This commercial acts as though Wal-Mart doesn't care about it's customers simply because they get stuff from China... but if they get anything bad, it would be their fault (Walm Mart) if they sell something that harms the customer they are held responsible...

  • They are not insulting its customers and its workers, I'm not quite sure where that idea came from.

  • Aside from the man who made the documentary taling bad about Wal-Mart, there is a couple who sell t-shirts which depict the "Smiley face" that Wal-Mart uses in their advertisements, except they are depicted as disgruntled stereotypes, used to represent customers and employees.

Oh well. Point I'm trying to make on this video is that Wal Mart is obligated to not sell anything harmful.

  • zeitgeistmovie dot com

  • the way for you americans to crush walmart is simple and legal:just dont shop there.i dont shop at asda

  • Welcome to corporate America. Under Bush the corporations have gained much ground. Don't get me wrong they were always there under all leaderships but now it's out of control. It's not even safe to shop for food! it. Under Bush I've seen more recalls and tainted food than any other time in history.Politicians are afraid to do anything about this. It's up to US. DONT SHOP AT WAL MART!

  • How I sthat Bush's fault? we have the same problems in Canada and guess what... We don't have a president named Bush! This can't be blamed on anyone and if anything now that they are catching and doing recalls should be a sign that the job is now being done.

  • Absolutely disgusting.

  • just think of all the money you can make!

  • dicks
