At least they used explosives that time. A few years back when I was living out there, they tried to cut the beams but then pull it down with cables attached to bulldozers. Of course the cables broke, and then the building had to fall on it's own, which it did eventually. STUPID "Utards".

In this vid you can see they clearly have a huge parking lot on three sides of the building, giving them a large margin for error. WTC7 had to come down without damaging buildings only the width of a city street away on all four sides...

There's not as much room cleared as the video indicates. Down below where the camera cuts off there are buildigns and businesses still open that you can't see in the shot, like a Rite Aid located half-way between this block and other small structures. I work on this very block and I walked past the wreckage today. Very tidy just like WTC in terms the area the wreckage fell into.

Please notice the cauliflower-type appearance of the smoke after the collapse. This is indicative of explosives being used. A building that just collapses under its own weight does not produce the cauliflower-type smoke.
