Oh my god. I wanted to find a good movie editor that could reverse a movie so I typed in movie editor hoping that I would find a video that where someone shows the effects. And that one of them was reverse. What are the odds of this video showing one of the main things as reverse.

Well, I think when you insert the title into the time line, I believe you right click on it and select title editor and it will allow you to change the text.

What format is your video... The best format for editing is *.mpg... If your Movie Edit does't recognize your video format, you should try to install video codecs (eg. K-Lite) or try some video converters... I use Xilisoft video converter and I have no problems editing my video... I use MEP2004... The newer versions should be more compatible than the older ones... Try it...

I can't import ANY of my videos with this program!

When I try to import my vids, a popup tells me to make sure the drive is not full or write-protected (whatever that means) and that if I don't have authorization to write or read from this path, contact the administrator.

how do you save it as a movie file .... so like when i go into my documents and i double click on it the video starts playing .... because when i click on it the editing program just starts up

GO to FILE, then export movie, then click what ever file you want to save it as

(MPEG, AVI, Windows media Export are all pretty standard)

Then it is pretty self explanatory from there, just select your resolution (may be automatic) and click ok. Everything else is a little more advanced. But just try around with it and you'll get a hang of it.

Quick question to which to Im sure you know being a pro, but how do I get text to flash up and down the screen on images, I want them to be really fast so you cant really read them trying to make a quit smoking subliminal video.

Ive tried the basic way but can only do in one direction and not as fast as I'd like overall I'd like multiple lines of text flashing up and down.

Would really appreciate your help when you get a chance.

Great tutorial! What did you use for the screen capture? Is that Movie Edit Pro 14 screen capture? Or did you use something like Camtasia? The description of says you can capture movies...but doesn't say if it's a full function screen capture.

camtasia. However MEP 14 can capture any screen size. "Fullfunction", its capturing the screen to a movie format. Its not a program feature like camtasia.

I have used MM2 & iMovie, so understand concepts. Will MMPRo 14+ do this:

have 2 tracks of video for song at concert (one for zooms/pans, cam #2 covers entire group). I want the closeup camera to be my main footage, with SYNCED #2 cam to provide in footage to cover jerky zooms. The audio track is from the board. I would like to cross dissolve for transitions between the tracks, and still keep sync with the 2 cams and the actual audio track. Like one would on the fly in studio situation. Can do?
