  • anyone thinking what im thinking? RON PAUL 2012!

  • If Reagan came back and saw our country now, he would be truely dismayed.

  • You can't have a balanced budget in a debt money system. Conservatism has nothing to offer America. In a debt money system I prefer the Democrats, because at least they will borrow some more money, and give some to the people.

  • @dodgeball441 Because borrowing more money and increasing the debt is a good idea, right?

  • Any man willing to give up his freedom for security deserves neither.

  • Way too many fools are much too willing to give their God given right to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness to government in exchange for sticking it to their fellow countrymen. Wake up people, you are all sticking it to each other and in the end, you all lose. Government is not looking out for you, it uses you to get what it wants from "the other guy" until you, in turn, become "the other guy."

  • .....and then he promptly increased the national debt from $1 Trillion to $3 Trillion, and worse yet, left us with perpetual $500 billion annual deficits. Reagan relevant today? You betcha. His "starve the beast" plan drove us right into a $14 Trillion debt. Yeah, thanks Ronnie. Ya dick.

  • @MoralMoney And Obama went from 11 trillion to 15 trillion and his term is not over yet. our point being? "See I can do it to, Albuquerque, snorkel."-National Treasure

  • @CorranHorn3331 2 HUGE differences: 1) Obama started with an annual deficit that Bush via Reagan left him. Reagan created that annual deficit. 2) Obama started with the worst recession since the great depression. Don't let your partisan blinders destroy our country. You know what's right if you care to look.

  • @MoralMoney ... Amen! Another HUGE difference: Obama hasn't given the rich any tax cuts. Reagan cut the top tax bracket from 70% down to 28%. Then, after he cut REVENUE in half...he increased SPENDING. If Obama is the "worst President ever" because he increased our national debt, then Ronald Reagan must be the fucking devil incarnate.

  • @emantabrizi True dat. Isn't it frustrating knowing this stuff and knowing how uninformed these neocons are? And then to have them tell you that you're the crazy, ignorant one!! It makes me wish I owned a gun just so I could shoot myself!

  • @MoralMoney ... LOL, don't give up, man. The truth will always win-out.

  • @emantabrizi YOU are a fucking fool!

Now go get your welfare check and other freebees

  • @museargone ... LOL, the truth hurts, doesn't it? Tissue?

  • @emantabrizi Have you ever seen anyone work for someone that is poor? By attacking the rich you are also attacking the job creators. The rich have the economic means to employ people, that is something the poor do not have. If you damn all the rich you also damn all the poor. Concerning the Reagan deficit, you must consider the circumstances of the Cold War era. We needed to grow the military in order to end the cold war.

  • @tomjmusic ... Here's the problem with your logic: corporate profits are currently at record-setting levels. In the third fiscal quarter of this year, total corporate profit in America exceeded $2 trillion. TWO TRILLION DOLLARS! Bonuses for corporate CEOs this year are going to exceed $150 billion. So, clearly, the 35% corporate tax isn't hurting "job creators." So, why aren't they creating jobs?

  • @emantabrizi

you need to get your facts right. By 1988 the tax burden of the top 1% of wage earners went from 17% to 27%. For the top 10% of wage earners it went from 48 in 1980 t0 57%. The bottom 50% of wage earners went from 8% to 5% by 1988. get your facts right. People were willing to pay Reagan rates. And at least Reagan brought us jobs and brought down the Soviet Union with his, in comparison with Obama's administration, minor addition to the debt.

  • @MuskratandRatman ... I don't know where you're getting your numbers, but according the IRS website, the top tax bracket was 70%, not 17%, in 1980 (unless, you're referring to their total burden after deductions). Also, please get YOUR facts straight...Reagan did NOT bring down the Soviet Union. They were well on their way to financial collapse by the late 1970s. Oh, and the jobs came in his SECOND term. Unemployment was 7.4% (down from 10.8%) when he was re-elected.

  • @emantabrizi

you see you didn't even understand what i said. I was not even refering to the tax bracket. And it is common knowledge that Reagan is solely responsible for the collapse of the soviet union. For years we followed detente which was a form of appeasement. The soviet Union doubled its efforts to catch up to the technology that reagan funded. The USSR ran out of money and could no longer geed its people.

  • @MuskratandRatman ... You weren't referring to the tax bracket? I figured as much. And? Are you going to explain what you were referring to?

  • @emantabrizi

I was referring to the total burden in the United States. Although Reagan lowered taxes more revenue came in because rich people weren't trying to evade taxes therefore their tax burden went up.

  • His promise to shrink government was uttered so many time that many ACOLYTES beLIEve IT REALLY HAPPENED, but in fact Reagan expanded the federal payroll, added a new cabinet post, and created a huge debt that ultimately tripped up his handpicked successor, George H.W. Bush.

    -

What HE DID SHRINK WAS GOVERNMENT REGULATION AND OVERSIGHT -- linked to a series of unfortunate events from the savings-and-loan crisis of the late 1980s to the sub-prime mortgage crisis of the late 2000s.

  • There has always been a place for mythology in American democracy but this nation has arguably never seen the kind of bold, crudely calculated and ideologically driven legend-manufacturing as has taken place with Ronald Reagan.

... It is a myth machine ..... – for misguided policies from lowering taxes in the time of war in Iraq to maintaining that unpopular conflict in a time of increasing bloodshed and questionable gains. ........

1984 Reagan got more votes than 4 years earlier – even though he reversed the –‘across-the-board tax cut-‘ on the bottom marginal rate in 1982 – through a scam ignoring the “Dem. House that proposed another tax reduction” – bypassed the House !!

  • @orgasmicide2 nigga fuk off

  • yall crackas need ta chill obama be da prez yall be hatin him cuz he black yall racist mutha fukas

  • @nastrobamas

    .

    niggers gonna nig...

  • @fullfist fuk off bitch

  • @nastrobamas Why must you pull the race card,I don't dislike Obama because he is black,I disagree with his policies because I am a Republican. I can speak for myself saying I am not racist, and i'm pretty sure most the GOP party is not either. And if you look at history, it was the republicans who freed the slaves, the republicans who strengthened the economy, and the Republicans put the country before their party. This wasn't all true with Bush, but do not let one instance cause your judgement.

  • @RightfullyRed nigga allyall crackas b racist we in charge nah it b r time

  • @nastrobamas Thats not true, not all white people are racist, to assume so is plain ridiculous, why must we serve as black or white. It is better for us to serve as Americans, because that is our race.

  • @RightfullyRed thats how its been red didn't you know if you disagree with OBAMA that makes you a raciest bla bla bla .Has nothing to do with the fact that obama is an IDIOT, and there are sheep that are smarter,of coarse not the ones that voted for that moron..PCE

  • @ASH6977 Yeah I know, im used to it

  • @nastrobamas So i was looking for a translation program online for that sentence, and i realized that "Retard" is not a language dude. 9.2% unemployment, 14.5 trillion in debt = we all dislike him because he's black? Does not add up one bit. Why don't you look past his skin color sir.

  • @preyinghawk08 cuz crackas b racist bitches

  • @nastrobamas the same PRINCIPAL applies to black people hating white presidents. you have no firm evidence!

  • Raised taxes seven times in his eight years. Big bullshitter

  • Ronald Reagan was a puppet for Wall St. and the War Industry. He was bad for the middle class. Nothing else really matters when looked at with that perspective.

  • @mikethebassguy Honestly - you actually swallow that shit?

  • @mikethebassguy AMERICAN people living in poverty, foreclosures, offshoring of U.S. jobs, national debt, criminal convictions of members of the Executive branch, corporate profits - all went up significantly during Reagan administration. Average wage of AMERICAN workers - down. I didn't vote for Obama and would like him to resign so if you were trying to make it a republican/democrat thing - don't waste your time. I don't vote for demipublicans. I've retained critical thinking - despite Wall St.

  • @TheStulzRage So before i debate further on this what do you support?

  • @mikethebassguy I support the middle class getting more of the pie. I believe it's criminal to allow a CEO to recieve more $ from a corporation than it pays in taxes - 32 corporations do that. I don't believe 1 person is worth more than thousands of people working hard to survive in a rigged system. Corporations aren't people. We need public financing of elections - at a tiny fraction of what they cost now. Telecom. corps need to buy OUR airwaves. We need to open up the books of ALL BANKS...

  • @TheStulzRage You didn't answer me on what goverment you'd like but it sounds alot like communism... Lets put it this way, and ill even put it into perspective of what i do/ will do. (i work on cars) I start with a baisc clientel in my own garage (by myself) save enough money buy a shop, start hiring people and before long i have a giant corporation. Your saying those other techs i hire should be payed equal to me? No If im making millions they will get hundreds of thousands.

  • @mikethebassguy I'm not socialist - I don't join fads. Communism hasn't existed since the Early Christians. If you mean socialism - where has real socialism been used? The USSR was a statist dictatorship - not socialist. China is a Capitalist/Statist hybrid - they only used the term socialism to convince people they were a grassroots movement. I don't get into "isms". I support truth and justice. Those concepts can't exist in a Capitalist society because they get purchased - which nullifies them

  • @mikethebassguy As to your idea about a car repair business - I didn't say you need to pay everyone equal. I don't like seeing 1 person make $40 million at the same company that pays the people who actually do the work $30,000. There is a lot of room in between.

  • @TheStulzRage The collision repair shop I work at last year payed me about 36k last year, Mr Rosner probably brought in about 20 Million... Im sorry but I don't see a problem with paying a high school drop out 30k a year to put hoods on cars, i could teach a 10 year old to do it, it aint skilled labor...

  • @mikethebassguy So, you don't believe most people should be paid enough money to live well - only barely enough to survive? I don't understand why you think violent greed is acceptable. We have enough in this country for everyone to have good health, a job and a place to live. Why would you rather live in a society where a tiny minority own almost everything while millions starve & die of disease? I honestly don't understand that.

  • @TheStulzRage I believe in earning your keep, if your not smart enough to learn a skill or trade why pay you well? I'm about fairness, and everyone has an equal oppurtunity to succeed. With laziness comes failure, and i do not pitty those who are lazy and fail because they are there on their own accord (with very few exceptions)

  • @mikethebassguy Almost everyone is smart enough to learn a skill. What society did you refer to when you wrote "everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed"? It certainly can't be the U.S. Even the corporate elite don't believe that. They openly admit the game is rigged in favor of people with money or easy access to large sums of money. Do you believe that everyone who's not a millionaire is lazy? That access to doctors & medicine is not a right? That life should be a crapshoot?

  • @TheStulzRage yes everyone has an equal oppurtuinity for instance i started working on cars at 16 and slowly but surely im workin my way up... One day ill make over a hundred thousand dollars and what will people like you say then? My family came from nothing, and would be considered wealthy by your standards today...

  • @mikethebassguy I'd say - How many Americans go hungry every day? How many are homeless? What's the unemployment rate? Does the U.S. still lead the world in preventable deaths? How many American children have cancer? Who pays for our elections - and who reaps the benefits? By the way, you didn't answer any of my questions. Do you believe everyone who isn't rich is lazy? Do people have a right to healthcare? Should life be a crapshoot? Is it OK for Americans to die of starvation?

  • @TheStulzRage Ill start by answering your questions: Healthcare a right? NO. Is it the goverments job to feed people? NO its there own job. Not all non rich are lazy im poor and im not. unemployment: 9% Idk homeless rate and dont care. Answer to hunger: Go hunting or fishing, (i do it why cant they?)

  • @mikethebassguy When you support Capitalism, you are against democracy. When buying a politician is a great return on your investment, it's going to happen every day. When everything is profit-motivated, everything is for sale. That includes elections. No democracy. Why doesn't that bother you? You been indoctrinated into the state religion. Wouldn't you like to think for yourself? Does that scare you? When you allow corporations to control every aspect of elections you give up responsibility.

  • @TheStulzRage For starters we are NOT a democracy... We are a Republic, and the founding fathers instilled a free market into that Republic. Democracy started being used under FDR i believe (socialist) to start the growth of the federal goverment.

  • @mikethebassguy You are right. If we were too far to the right we would have no rights at all. Industry would dictate our fate and we would be more expoited than we are now. Hence the rights aversion to unions and sindicates and why they send jobs overseas where they can have cheaper labor and bigger profits.

  • @mikethebassguy Socialist as in Social Security and Medicare which the right wants to get rid of because they want more profits and pay no tax. Hence they dont want government to meddle in their schemes. Bush deregulated Wall Street now look at the mess we are in.

  • @michp38 No congress in 2006 (democrats) deregulated it for starters, secondly the goverment is overstepping its boundaries with social security and medicare, along with welfare, unemployment etc etc etc... Dump all the social programs, epa, carbon credit emissions bull shit... The goverment should consist of military, police, border patrol, Fire dept and the court system, its suppose to stay neutral and stay out of our lives.

  • @mikethebassguy This month was the tenth anniversary of deragulation by Bush and wall street and the banks began making stocks with mortgages. Before that it was illegal, thus it gave the recession a good boost to the train wreck we have now. There has to be some agency to keep these people from doing again. Going to the far right as you suggest will lead to tyranny or more tyranny than now.

  • @michp38 You keep telling yourself that it was Bush, Your a fool, look at goverment spending and problems that started arising while he was in office, everything goes haywire in 2006 when the dems got elected... Farther to the right = less goverment... How can there be tyranny with less goverment?

  • @mikethebassguy Amen brother.over regulation is killing us.all those things you mention need to be scrapped.Let us keep what we earn and we will fatten gov't coffers.Reagan proved it.loer taxes lead to a burgeoning treasury.stay the hell out of my pocket.leave me alone..keep your welfare your unemployment and every other nanny state idea you have.I can and will take care of myself.I don't want or need anything from the gov't

  • @TheStulzRage Well said. Democracy exists DESPITE Captialism.

  • @mikethebassguy ...We need to dump NAFTA & other trade deals. We need to address the trade imbalance with China - we should BE ABLE to buy products from somewhere else. We need to undo the Fascist consolidation of our media - we need more diverse opinions out in the public discussion. We need to address health concerns in a way that cures people instead of "treating" peoples' illnesses strictly as a way of making $ - this would reduce health costs tremendously AND save lives...

  • @mikethebassguy Free market as you say is to make as big a profit as possible. They want to pay laborers the minimum and go to any lengths to do so. Hence outsourcing where labor is cheap. When other countries realize they are being exploited then they are labelled "against democracy". In extreem cases it will result in military action against said country. At the same time businesses will try to cheat the govt. out of any way to pay taxes. We are brainwashed to think capitalism is democracy.

  • @michp38 We are not a fucking democracy! God! lol In the free market if they outsource long enough and people arn't happy they fail, once gas gets to 6 bux a gallon and oil execs start getting popped what do you think will happen? When the first amendment fails reach for the 2nd, the 2nd amendment is to protect ourselves from the goverment and the other idiots out there so im not all to worried about all the stuff you said.

  • All you numbers crunchers are funny, both mainstream teams play with numbers. Ronald Reagan Wall St. Warrior Capitalist Defender of the Faith Feared by thinking humans Loved by Racists, Bloodsucking leeches & Warmongers First president to sell weapons to nations on list ot terrorism supporters Only president to vote no in UN vote to denounce terrorism First president to attack social security Only president to blame pollution on trees Only president to ignore deadly health hazard....
  • @tripfunkmonster You "Gutless Bastard" You have NO clue what state this country was in when Mr. Reagan took office! I DO I WAS IN THE MILITARY PROTECTING YOUR RIGHT TO BE A WHINNY ASS BITCH. He brought this country back from the brink of destruction, his policies single handedly broke Russia's back and effectively ended the cold war. So before you run your PISS ASS MOUTH ABOUT A GREAT MAN, DO YOUR HOMEWORK You Lying Liberal ASS.

  • @BanG195: I remember what was going on in the 1970s very well. Why would you shoot your mouth off like that when you don't know shit about me? You're obviously a non-thinker who obeys his masters with enthusiasm. If that's what you want out of life, that's OK. I, on the other hand, have been searching for truth & realized long ago that it's often ugly. I deal with it. I've been working my ass off for 33 years & I've studied history since the Watergate scandal. I pay attention to what's going....

  • @tripfunkmonster OK, I will agree I may have been a bit harsh to you, No I was. I became very angry over one of your posts about Mr. Reagan. See, I remember the Carter days, Gasoline lines for miles, odd and even license plates determined if you could get gas that day, OUR military had been GUTTED, Navy had a 120 ships dope and disorder were the order. And then Ronald Reagan came along, he said to Americans I will make you great again, I will give you a 600 ship Navy, I will put you back to work

  • @BanG195: I'm glad you relaxed. Democracy is about listening to different ideas & making things work for a large group of diverse people. Wall St. has managed to convince Americans that freedom is about making $ when it has always been about freedom of beliefs. That trend picked up steam in 1981 after Reagan was elected. His administration allowed corporations to go on steroids & get whatever they wanted - at the expense of democracy. The '82 tax break started a boom. And a crash & bailout, too.

  • @BanG195: ...to what's going on & expect my fellow countrymen to strive toward a better future because I love my country. The person that sits on his ass & thinks everything is OK no matter what is happening is a lazy piece of shit that allows his country to fall to ruin. I care too much to do that. I live life the way I talk about it - I don't say 1 thing & do another. I take nothing for granted & appreciate EVERYTHING. Do you? Gutless? I go to work EVERY DAY for a low wage & do what I have to

  • The debt when George W. Bush took office was $5.727 Trillion when he left it was $10.627. The debt/GDP increased by 27.1% in eight years of office (It was 83.4% when he left office).

    .

Obama claims that his spending is reasonable better than Reagan. He proposed 3.7 Trillion with a deficit of 1.4 Trillion for 2011. Currently based on usdebtclock org, the debt/GDP is 97.2%. Obama in two years of office increased the debt/GDP by 13.8%.

  • @unclebanana tough shit! ever hear the saying... god helps those who've got their own?

  • Hyperbolic rhetoric, followed by economic collapse. This is Reagan's legacy... Being the bumbling King of fools is no real prize to be sought after. He inherited the greatest economic power on the planet and turned us into the biggest debtor nation. He took a $1 Trillion national debt, that took 200 years to get there, and placed us on the path to a $12 Trillion debt in only 40 years. That is an explosion in any book. He was a fool for doing that, and you are a fool for praising him.

  • @bosatsu76 You're a fool for grossly over-simplifying such a multi-faceted complicated issue.

  • @VegasBilgeRat lmfao and this is your only argument. incinerated.

  • @bosatsu76 fools as you cannot finger other fools, or maybe you were too high in the 80's to know what was happening

  • "We are too great a nation to limit ourselves to small dreams." - Ronald Reagan. :-)

  • Reagan, the biggest of all Government puppets...

  • @RavenMichaels 20 million jobs created. Oversaw longest peacetime expansion. Increased revenue to the government, and cut taxes.

  • The economic recession of the Bush Administration was not caused by Bush's conservatism, but by his liberalism (excessive spending) combined with the cumulative programs of the Democrats since the Carter Administration in regards to the housing crisis. The Dems deemed it that all people should be able to own homes regardless of their ability to pay, and banks had to follow those laws and thus we ended up where we are now.

  • I'm a liberal but here me out, I think Ronald was a great foreign policy president, but with economics, he sounds like a phony. Dont think twice about this I'm just a retarded college kid

  • @Cioppa182 He created 20 million new jobs.

  • @ArodWingfoot How much did those jobs pay?

  • @StraightFashionMan Impossible to get an answer for that, but I do know that those jobs paid inifinitly better than no job.

  • Commerce drives the wedge between the serf and his fuedal lord. Commerce makes thei middle class ( the merchant class) possible. The left hates commerce because the free market provides men the means to determine their own course.

  • and this, in a nutshell, demonstrates the impetus of the left, and why it is lead by elitists. They want their feudalism back, we are the serfs that are supposed to serve them, the state. I say, don't tread on me!

Reagan embodied, more than any president in the last century, the ideals to which this country strive and upon which it was created. The left hated him, and invented propaganda to smear him. The truth is self evident, the country underwent a renaissance during his presidency.

  • @TheJamdaddy nice little attack on atheism im sure your a small minded christian, liberalism I wont defend because I am not, atheism is just there to seperate church and state loser
