lol there are plenty of short people in corps snarelines. Look at some lot videos of Boston Crusaders 2009. There are plenty of other examples, but that's the first one that pops into my head.

They take people who are at about 5' 10'' to 6 feet so they all look the same. It's kinda judgmental but it's for the look. Also, they all have similar body type.

This really doesn't happen that much anymore. Although when people are the same height their natural step size is the exact same.  Which makes drill a whole lot easier. The Green Team used to utilize this in their hornline ALL the time.

I hate how most people don't appreciate just the playing level, but notice that they are MOVING in SYNCHRONIZED motions WHILE playing shit that most people don't even UNDERSTAND much less know HOW to play. I heard each show is equivalent to running a marathon. Dont quote me on that though

I've only heard one middle school drumline, and they weren't that great. I personally learned how to drum and got down the rudiments before drumline. If I had been marching for 3 years while learning the basics, my basics would be worse, making me worse.
